Received for $135.99 on sale, about as much as a standard 1080p monitor. The monitor does reach 144hz, but *natively* it's only 120hz. FreeSync on an RTX card caused some weird issues, so I suggest leaving it off. Occasionally, this monitor will flash off and on at about 1 second intervals. I've noticed this is only an issue when my phone is under the monitor though, so I wonder if it's an issue of EMI. I haven't tried the 1ms response time, but seeing as how I've heard the bad ghosting issues, I just leave it at 4ms, the default. I really don't notice a difference. This monitor has good color, but it's got a really strong backlight, for you'll never get a black color unless it's *truly* black. I'm told this is to be expected with the panel type. However, if you want a budget experience of the "gamer's high life," this is probably not a bad start. You'll spend a day or two tweaking colors and brightness, and you'll occasionally get some hiccups, but other than that, it's a nice budget monitor.

It works pretty well and I didn't really see anything wrong with color out the box however it is pretty bright so I turnt that down. Primarily use this as a gaming monitor and I turned 144hz on using windows (with the hdmi it came with) so I haven't tried g-sync because I heard it works better with a display port, I would advise against turning it on higher then fast because I can see what people mean by "ghosting", make sure the monitor is on overclock so windows picks it up as 144. When I turned it on my screen looked even more crisp and clean compared to when I had it off. Decent intro 144hz g-sync monitor for cheap (150 at the time) so get it for around that price no higher otherwise just splurge on a higher priced one. Also the screen was bigger then expected so that's pretty neat coming from using a tv on console!

This is my first 144hz monitor but not my first 1ms monitor. The 144hz setting works great, but you have to overclock the monitor to get it there (which is incredibly simple to do). I don't really notice a difference between 1ms and 2ms for response time so I recommend playing on the 2ms mode since the monitor has very bad ghosting at 144hz1ms. Not a big deal at all. Monitors design is very very clean with a silver brushed metal finish all around and blue accents on all of the logos. Nice touch is that the monitor actually has full range of motion, with not only tilt and swivel, but also height adjustment and full rotation of the panel to use it in both portrait and landscape modes. Really digging this being my main monitor next to my Acer 24" 1080p 60hz IPS panel that I use for more color accurate work.

The monitor is great for the price when on sale had the issues as other reviewers with the MHz being more in the the 120 and the ok viewing angles but the monitor sits in from of me and I don’t play game that demand 144MHz. The built quality is great, feels very sturdy

I got this monitor for about $170 on Black Friday and it serves its purpose really well. The issue is that this monitor doesn't have in built in speaks. In addition, the website states that this monitor has a 144 hz rate but the max it can go according to my gaming pc (which is quite solid) is 120 hz. If I'm paying $170, I want my product to do as it states online. This monitor isn't worth $320 but if it is on sale, you should buy it.

First thing you notice when you open it: the build quality. As usual with most Dell products, great work on the outward build of the unit, excellent design, & lots of options for monitor movement (Swivel, tilt, & height), great for office environments. For the quality bifbthe screen itself, it's got a few color imbalances out of the box, & needs a bit of work to get a color profile worth it's salt. but after a few tweaking on the software side (as it's not very easy to tweak on the actual monitor), It comes out decently enough. The smooth 120hz (overclock-able to 144z) is buttery smooth, with everything from the casual desktop browsing experience to actively playing games looks fantastic (provided that your setup supports the frame rate). Overall, at the price I bought it at (a whopping 60% discount), it's definitely worth it's price.

Good for the price. If you want high refresh rates on a budget, this is a great option. This is a TN panel, so look elsewhere if you need color accuracy.

The price on this monitor was terrific. It has many ports available and I'm sure I haven't tested all of its many features. The picture quality is excellent.

I am an English professor and spend many hours every day looking at a computer monitor. I wanted something that would be good (or at least better) for my eyes than my current screens. Using the HDMI cord included with the monitor to connect to my Dell laptop, I now have a monitor that runs 1080p at 120hz. I have not noticed too much of a difference yet, but expect it will be much easier on my eyes. Of particular note, the stand allows me to rotate the monitor 90 degrees, so I can display two full pages of scrolling text at a time (and more, if I scale the screen to 90 or 80%). That feature alone makes this monitor worth the money, but only at the sale price. Pros: monitor rotates (in addition to swivel, height and tilt), video images are smooth, osd is easy to navigate, and it feels well built. Cons: as long as you are sitting directly in front of the monitor, I have found no cons yet.

Way better than my old one and for the price, it is absolutely amazing! Can't beat that price point with these specs and a trustworthy brand like Dell.

This monitor is easy to use and it has an output for sound. Its light weight and easy to move around. It can swivel and be used vertically. The color is good for the price.

Overall a great monitor, haven’t had latency or ghosting issues, Settings UI is great and has software to tweak colors further towards your liking. runs perfectly at 144hz

I didn’t know which monitor to buy then I saw this Dell and couldn’t be happier. You do see ghosting on when have a higher frame rate so just adjust so you don’t see it. I recommend it!

Not great in terms of color accuracy, but after a few minutes of general calibration, it does alright. The refresh rate and image quality are what I bought this for.
