A solid mid-range 2 in 1 laptop, especially when bought on sale ($700 USD). The 8840HS APU (Ryzen 7 with 780M graphics) has blown me away in terms of performance (it can even handle light gaming). And if you're computer savvy, please note that you can easily upgrade the DDR5 RAM up to 64GB (I bought a 32 GB kit from Crucial for about $75). However, I didn't feel the need to upgrade the impressive 1TB Micron 2400A Gen4 NVMe drive. For anyone who feels that the display appears slightly washed out, you can easily improve the vibrancy of the colors by turning down the gamma levels a bit. Just run "Calibrate Display Color" from the Windows Start Menu. And honestly, for a FHD display, I think the screen looks great, even in tablet mode. Lastly, I thought that I'd mention the build quality feels quite sturdy (especially the hinges). However, be careful to not strip out the low-quality M2 screws if you remove the bottom cover for upgrades and/or maintenance. If you break a captive screw, you can replace it with an M2X10. Hope that helps a fellow nerd out there.. p.s. the battery life appears solid given the performance of the machine (4+ hours). However, I keep mine docked most of the time.

I bought this because I had an older one of these laptops from Dell. I really think it is a good price and it performs well. I like the weight of it (although the older version was lighter). I still can carry it all over the house with one hand. At first I was going to get a Surface, but this laptop is about $500 less than a Surface and does basically the same thing. I also have an IPad and there was no need to get another tablet. The performance is good. I love the touch-screen. At first I felt I didn't need a touch screen, but after my last laptop's monitor started having problems, I knew a touchscreen was the way to go. It has sufficient harddrive space, especially now since everything is in the cloud. Most of all, it has more than 8GB of ram, which makes your apps, especially M365, run superbly. All-in-all, I found that this is the perfect laptop for me (especially since I was just buying an upgraded version of my old laptop).

This Dell Inspiron 14 2-in-1 exceeded my expectations! The AMD Ryzen 7 processor is blazing fast, multitasking is smooth, and the 16GB of RAM handles everything I throw at it. The 1TB SSD is a huge bonus — so much space and super quick loading times. Amazing value for the price!

I bought Dell model 7445 on JUNE 9, the BestBuy shipping was very fast and correct. PROS: top materials, glass screen, the resolution is fantastic, the brightness and colors are more than good, well balanced and natural, nothing exaggerated, it looks good and well distinguished. Regarding the processor, AMD RYZEN 7 8840 HS, which is ultra fast, you can perform multiple heavy tasks at the same time without losing efficiency, highly recommended. Regarding the sound, it is quite good, but you should customized, it sounds quite loud and well defined, the bass is good under configuration. It's a nice laptop design with rounded corners, and the midnight blue color looks very pretty, is sophisticated and elegant, it looks different depending on the light it receives. The hinges are very robust, it is obvious that they will last for years since the entire machine is very well built. Battery, I would say that a normal battery, neither super long nor short, everything will depend on the workload. Touch pad and keyboard: large and very comfortable touch pad, good sensitivity, comfortable keyboard with very good response. Quite Fan, the fingerprint reader is incredibly precise and fast (very comfortable), the co-pilot has his own key which is great. FHD-Webcam: it is quite good and well defined, realistic colors, and it is also fast. Cons: NONE!! It is a beautiful machine, highly functional, both as a regular laptop and as a tablet, it is well worth the investment, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

It's a very good product and it's pretty versatile. She never really had much of a problem with it. The only problem we've had is like the fans are really loud. One more problem and I guess another annoyance I don't know if it's common with Windows laptops but when it has no battery it turns on the LED lights on the keyboard, but not the screen so it doesn't really like tell you once has no battery it just kind of shows a black screen. So there was some worryiness when that happened because we thought the computer broke but it was just cuz I had no charge. It doesn't like any symbols saying it has no charge. So if you get this and that happens as long as the keyboard is on just charge it and it should turn back on after a while once it gets enough charge. Overall four a five because the fans are loud and that battery problem with like not showing it when it's dead. Works perfectly fine and we haven't had much of an issue.

I needed a laptop for college and, it works as expected. The keyboard itself glows allowing for work at night, and the typing experience is pretty good as well. The screen is great, I also use my laptop to draw on and, from what I can tell, the colors look great. Only issue I ran into well using this laptop is, that the fingerprint scanner doesn't work half the time, like it has a 50/50 chance of it working, which doesn't really bother me because I prefer using a pin instead. However, when it does work, it's seamless. Overall, everything is great about it, hopefully this laptop lasts me for all throughout college.

I bought the laptop in February 2025, but have only just started using it effectively. And over a short period of time I noticed several issues and on 18/07/2025 it simply displayed a blue screen and would not allow me to recover Windows. The problems encountered were -": - Pressing the power button several times only lights up the keyboard area and the screen does not light up, it is necessary to press the power button several times until the screen shows some image - The fingerprint doesn't always work and when you try to enter the pin, the value you enter doesn't appear - you have to restart the laptop to actually enter the password. - The battery is not lasting the indicated 6 hours - And today, 18/07/2025, when using the computer normally, a blue screen appeared, it restarted and entered the Windows recovery screen, but without actually succeeding in all recovery attempts.

"I've had this Dell laptop for about 2 years now and it has been a fantastic machine for daily use. Everything else works great and the overall performance is excellent. My only minor issue is the fingerprint I.D. reader-it sometimes fails to recognize my finger. This has happened about 3 times so far, but aside from that, I highly recommend it!"

I absolutely LOVE my laptop- from the amazing graphics to the phone link. I can do school work, fold into a "TV" like stand and stream movies and shows, and of course play games with some high quality resolution. I find the phone link useful when I'm doing school work, I can see important notifications and answer calls and texts all while keeping my phone in my bag or on my dresser. It allows me to not be tempted to doom scroll. LOL I've had this laptop for almost two years, so I feel I can attest to its incredible battery life and durability. This is amazing for teens/college students especially if looking on a small-medium budget.

I've been shopping everywhere for a laptop that can run Linux well. Every other laptop I've purchased had some sort of issues. I've tried other Dell and HP laptops that had Intel and Nvidia processors. I also tried buying a laptop from an official Linux distro vendor, System76. All of which had some sort of bug. Such as not suspending when closing the lid, power draining too much while on suspend, and screen flickering. I recently did some research on how different processors work with Linux. AMD seems to be the best option. They are open sourced and often come prepackaged with most distributions. So far, I have tired Ubuntu, Pop OS, and Linux Mint on this laptop. Ubuntu ran well but drained the battery a bit fast. Pop OS had a screen flicker issue and a screen orientation issue where I would open up the lid and the screen would be upside down. So far, Linux Mint seems to run the best on this. I have had no issues at all. I was even able to play some high resource demanding games at medium settings while still keeping hardware temps low.

This is a solid laptop. I got it at a great deal and have no qualms. I did have to have the person at Best Buy show me how to turn off the touch screen because I don’t like that but otherwise it’s great.

Great laptop overall. Didn’t think I would use the touchscreen but it’s very useful. Wish the battery lasted a little longer, but you can’t have everything.
