jrob61 - We're sorry to hear that you're having difficulty with your new Dell All-in-One. We can assure you that this is not the way that a new computer should perform. We'd recommend that you run the Support Assist app on your computer to make sure that all of the current software and drivers are up to date. You can also try these steps to see if there's an error report for the problems you're facing:
1. At the desktop, click the Search the web and Windows box and type "problem reports".
2. Select View all problem reports to view a list of errors that have occurred on your computer and possible solutions for them, such as updating drivers, flashing your system BIOS, or checking for updates to software.
3. Under the Source column, look for Windows and under Summary, look for Shut down unexpectedly.
4. Right-click the line item and select Check for a solution.
We hope these tips help your computer run the way you hoped it would.

My order was shipped/received promptly. The only reason for not giving this a 5 star corresponds to prior comments having to do with having to update Windows 10. It turned out to be a frustratingly long process which restarted often when the WiFi adapter kept getting blown away. I finally moved to a room with ethernet connection and let it run while we were gone for the day and it finished by the time I returned. Otherwise I'm enjoying the touch screen as well as the improved speed and performance of the old desktop that I replaced. Other than the windows issue, it was pretty much set up to run right out of the box.

Easy to use and takes up minimal space. Needed geek squad to set up and transfer data from my old computer. Took him 3 hours due to old, unsupported data. I bought this computer because my old one was no longer being supported. Last computer had Windows Vista!

We were in a rush when we purchased this computer, but we are fans of Dell computers and keep them well beyond the years you should have a computer. I didn't realize it was a touch screen until I pointed at the screen while I was training our office personnel. Such a pleasant surprise! Everyone is excited about it and it makes work so much easier with the scheduling that we do and all the documents that we scan and send.

This is a great computer for casual users. Email, videos, Facebook. I use mine as a point of sale computer. It works perfectly. Touch screen responsive enough for pressing on screen buttons. Not for typing or drawing applications.

I bought this all-in-one system for my Dad to replace an ancient Dell he had. Thought it would buy him some space in his small place, and it did that. The screen is a good size for him to see things, and it is easy to use. He has a tech guy who set it up for him, as he's in another state. Does everything he needs it to do, surf the web, read emails, etc. Perfect for him!

I wanted a computer for my son to do homework. This computer is easy setup and use. Not the fastest computer but has gotten better after windows updates. Perfect for internet and school homework.

OK so i bought this computer a month ago,set up was very easy, the screen is a nice size and shows a nice clear picture on it, it is also a touch screen ! one con with this computer is that, first , it did not come with a wireless key board and mouse, which would have been a plus, second and i think the most important part, this computer comes with 4 GB of ram, right out of the box it was slow, even after all the window updates, so i contacted dell on line, they told me that this computer can be updated to 8 GB of ram and when i had told them that the computer was running slow, they said the 8 GB would take care of that and that the computer would be a lot faster, well after paying $ 91.00 for the ram and shipping i thought i would be good to go, when i did get the ram, the directions were very unclear and when i did finally install the up date, the computer was no faster then when it had just 4 GB of ram . this might be a good computer for a kids first computer, but if you want speed, then this is not for you! am very disappointed, first with dell, and second that i did not read all of the review's for this!

This is a great computer, all in one plus touch screen. I bought it for my grandfather who is horrible with no computers. He loves the fact that he can zoom in and zoom out by pinching the screen, it's has a huge hard hard drive with plenty of memory. The only downside is Windows 10 utilizes so much memory that when running there's lag in the computer . Other than that it's a great machine.

My son loves it! As for a 10 year old, it’s one of our Best Buy for him. Easy to use and it doesn’t take much of space on his study table.

Easy to set up and use. Big screen. Having a little problem with it. Not sure if its really a Dell problem or my internet. The screen will black out on me at times even though I hear its still on in background. Dell is great working on it but haven't found anything wrong so also looking at internet connection. I like but shouldn't be doing this in less than 3 weeks.

Slow loading, from startup to programs to web pages. Takes awhile, needs more ram or faster processor. Not the best for the money, would of paid an extra $50-$100 for a faster one. After 9-10 months, had to send to Dell for a warranty issue, they warrantied it though, so Dells Customer Service has been A+ though

Hello Chuck, Thanks for your review and for your Dell computer purchase. We're glad that Dell's support team was able to help you with the warranty issue that you faced. If your computer continues to perform too slow for your liking we'd suggest the following:
Delete temporary files and directories
1. Click Start, then in the search bar type "disk". Disk Cleanup should appear on the menu above the search box.
2. Run disk cleanup and eliminate unneeded temporary files (Search results, Internet Cache and other windows temp files you may no longer need)
3. Select files you want to delete then click OK to start the cleanup process. Uninstall applications you no longer use 1) Open the Programs and Features application in Control Panel. 2) Scan the list of applications installed for ones that you no longer use. 3) Highlight any application you no longer use and then click the uninstall button at the top of the list. Follow the prompts to uninstall.
4. Repeat for each application you want to uninstall.
5. Move large files and/or seldom used files to backup media (Photos, Music you seldom listen to, application downloads after the application has been installed etc.).
6. Empty the Recycle Bin.

I am using this computer as part of a simple point-of-sale system at a school. For the users, I do not have the keyboard or the mouse plugged in because the touch-screen function suffices for their tasks. The screen is a good size without taking too much room, and networking it was pretty simple, even if I did have to plug it in (more on that below). Only 2 drawbacks that I have found so far, 1 minor, 1 moderate: 1 minor issue was that during setup, it took quite a while for all the Windows 10 updates were run. Once those were completed, however, the unit ran much faster. 1 moderate issue that I have is that while this computer is WiFi-capable, it operates on 2.4Ghz only. Most of the WiFi network at the school operates off of 5Ghz so I ended up hard-lining it in which wasn't real problem since it's close to a network drop. Operating on both bands would have been nice, but not necessary. Overall, it meets my needs and works well.

This computer has plenty of features for the price. It's basically a giant tablet without a battery. Very cheap and has decent specs plus everything you need built in. Would recommend for basic users who use their computer with only internet, such as email and web searching, and word processing. NOT FOR GAMING!
