By far one of the best monitors for the money. I was able to get it on sale for around $275, but even at it’s regular price, it’s still a great monitor. The brightness is one of the things that stood out. I don’t use it in a very lit room but I did try it at it’s max brightness and had to turn it down immediately. As for the color, I was able to download a monitor profile for windows for this specific monitor to be calibrated correctly. Though it was accurate, I prefer my display to be more vivid. The main reason I got this was for gaming. I using a 34in 144hz ultrawide (also 1440p) but learned that it was a little too distracting for my taste. This replaced that and it works way better for the games I play. There are tons of customizable things in the menu and it is fairly easy to navigate.

I purchased this monitor about 1.5 years ago when i was in dire need and I cannot be happier with this purchase. The monitor i was using (Spectre brand) died when i needed to design a website for my web design class. The Dell s2721dgf seemed like an excellent choice because i trust the brand and the specs are what i look for in a monitor, crisp and clean visuals with the highest resolution possible. To top it all off this Dell monitor has a refresh rate of 165Hz so took the plunge and spent my money on this monitor online for same day pickup in store. The Bestbuy is near my home so the experience was quick and easy. I unboxed the monitor immediately as i arrived at my apartment. And i was immediately impressed on the build quality of the monitor. The whole of it feels as premium as it looked online. the display barely has any bezel and the bit it does have, disappears behind the beautiful display. I was able to finish my assignment and later pass the class. i still use the monitor to design, play video games, watch 4k video, etc. And i recently fixed the hdmi port for my old monitor and now have a dual monitor set-up.
Not only is this a dantasric product but the customer service was very curitous, respectful and patient as they lookes to resolve an inventory issue concering this display model item I purchased. The Dell S2721DGF is a beautiful 1440p 165hz monitor with all freesync technology compatibility and looks great on both display port and hdmi. Highly suggested. 8.5/10.

After getting an Xbox Series X, I decided to upgrade from the little 1080p tv I was using and ended up here. I have absolutely no complaints about this monitor. The stand/base is very solid and doesn't feel like moving it will break. The colors look great and frames are more than enough for the Series X. The blue hue on the back is a nice touch for gaming with the lights off, so as to not be completely in the dark. I also like the little hole on the neck for cable management. Setting it up was easy. I recommended it to my friend and he grabbed one as well. 10/10. (Side note: Before buying a monitor, you should know that IPS panels in general don't handle darker areas as well as VA panels. That's not something specific to this monitor, but to all IPS in general. Fast paced Multiplayer games you want an IPS, Single player slower games then try for a VA.)

This is my 1st monitor that's greater than 1080p and 60hz. That improvement alone is worth it. Color is great, once you get it adjusted right. Took some time to adjust colors and no complaints now. Went with this monitor after doing research and found it to have the best reviews for the price range. After reading reviews i knew it was going to need color adjustment. (Right monitor in pic)

Anytime a new revision comes out for Dell's DGF line I try to pick it up. This is the 2021 model and it packs all the features you could hope for. I use this monitor to play both console games and pc games. It hits the sweet spot when it comes to size and refresh rate. For me, 27in 144hz is the gold standard. And since this monitor also supports G-Sync and FreeSync plus over clocking for 165hz refresh speeds you cannot go wrong. The picture quality is amazing, and it has great contrast and brightness no matter what your gaming environment looks like.

Amazing monitor with built in audio jack, USB ports, and USBB to transfer data to my PC. Besides being amazing for utility and looking clean on my desk, I really enjoy this monitor and it’s outstanding colors. Out of the box it’s not perfect and you’ll have to tweet it’s settings and contrast most likely, but man the difference in HDR content is very noticeable. Gaming I may not notice the HDR, but the refresh rate is very smooth. I have a gen Core I7 with a 2060 Super. DVI cable and I’m all set to game. I would have liked it even more if it came in an 24” version, but not through BestBuy and wasn’t on sale. QHD resolution makes my backgrounds pop, the buttons on the back to control is a little annoying, since my second monitor prohibits my hand to reach back there. A bottom joystick like LG and Samsung monitors would have been nice.

Bought the S2721DGF to replace a LG 27GN850 I bought in-store. Playing on a Xbox One X , I wanted a monitor that allows 1440p resolution @120hz with Freesync enabled. The LG worked but doesn't allow Freesync to be turned on since it's range is capped at 100hz. The Dell uses the same exact Nano-IPS panel as the LG but has a higher range that allows Freesync to be turned on. I also like the Dells stand better as it's smaller and takes up less desk space plus has a hole for cable management. Image quality is spectacular and every game I have tried has looked great and ran buttery smooth. Plus you have Dells 3yr warranty included standard as opposed to LG's 1yr. Easily worth the $50 price difference in my opinion.

This has been the best monitor since I got it, better than any other brand around its price point. The price can't be for its performance in gaming for both consoles and PCs.

Coming from a 1080p 144hz gaming monitor, I immediately recognized the difference in terms of visual & game play performance. The first game I played on this monitor was Guardians of the Galaxy & I could not believe how visually beautiful the gameplay was. I was going to stick with the 1080p gaming monitor I had but after reading & watching videos on 1440p gaming monitors being the best gaming monitors for Xbox Series X/S, I decided to trade in my previous gaming monitor for this one & I am so glad I did. If you are a casual or hardcore gamer who wants a gaming monitor that is both visually beautiful while maintaining a high refresh rate (the refresh rate is something you should consider if you play a lot of FPS such as Battlefield, Call of Duty, etc) - this monitor is definitely worth it!!! P.S. This gaming monitor DOES work with the Xbox Series S. Just use the HDMI cable that came with the gaming monitor & hook it onto your Xbox console (refer to the photos)

Awesome gaming monitor. Use for ps5 and use hdmi, graphics are great, its very fast and buttery at 120 refresh rate. Easy to set up. Only bad thing is no sound but i got speakers for them, still 5 stars even without sound.

I was looking for months for a good gaming monitor that wouldn’t break my wallet since the one I had was super old. I bought this when it was on sale for about $300…at first I was scared it wouldn’t be good but this is a great monitor. I get no eye strain, I adjusted the brightness and contrast to my liking so it’s perfect, there’s no reflection on it, super smooth and overall the best monitor I’ve had. It’s been about a year since I’ve had it and still works perfect, highly recommend buying it.

Love this monitor. Colors are Vibrant and Pictures are Sharp. VRR support. Ghosting is almost non-existent for me, I usually play adventure games so I don't really notice it. Apex Legends, didnt notice any ghosting when I play. Well worth the original price but I was able to get this when it was on sale. Highly Recommend it.

Just went from a 1080 tv to a 1440p monitor and wow it looks so crisp, the visuals and everything is top notch and yes it does work on 1440p 120hz for the Xbox one x. It looks amazing and there’s minimal backlight bleed but one thing I have to say is that when I got my monitor, the box looked all dirty and a bit scratched so I was kinda nervous and hoping that it wasn’t damaged at all since I payed so much and luckily, everything looked good but there’s a little chip on the bottom of the stand and it doesn’t bug me that much but It did kinda upset me a little bit but oh well I won’t be looking at that all the time since I’m going to look at a screen. But overall, a very good product

Bought a pair of these and mounted them to the Dell MDS19 stand. Very happy with the refresh and color. The HDR isn't great for general use with the black and contract lacking. But gaming with my RTX3070 they are excellent. The build quality is excellent. For office use they are exceptional.

Been abusing these for sim racing more than a few years now. Several 24hr races and lot's of screen time. Zero dead pix/zero issues. My only gripe is screen color was not calibrated from the factory between screens (I am running triple screens). Not a big deal...but took a bit to get it right. 4.5 stars.
