The SE2726HS is a 1080p monitor with rich, vibrant colors and versatile tilt, swivel, and height adjustments that can even work as a gaming monitor the high refresh rate. Design There is a grey "Dell" logo on the front, bottom, bezel. The logo is visible but muted with the black background of the rest of the bezel. The other three sides of the bezel are thinner, though I wouldn't say the bottom is thick. There are two HDMI 1.4 ports and one power port on the back - that's it. There's no extra power brick either. Just plug the standard (a common type for many computers and monitors) power cable from the wall directly into the back. No other video ports, no USB, no headphone jack, and no built-in speakers. There are adjustments to change the height and angle of the display almost anyway you want. While you can't make it a full portrait orientation, it gets pretty close, give you a large rotation range. There are around 4.5 inches of vertical adjustment, allowing you to slide the display up and down. You can tilt the display up or down too. And the entire thing is resting on turn-table (see picture) that's on the bottom of the base. That makes it easy to turn the display very far in either direction. It includes a power cord and one HDMI cord. There is a basic but effective cable holder in the back of the up-right part of the stand (see picture). It's not very heavy either coming in under 12 lbs. Display The IPS display provides bright and wide viewing angles, horizontally and vertically. Colors are rich and crisp. I was surprised to find that even for what I would consider a value monitor, not only is the display excellent, bright, and evenly lit, but it supports AMD FreeSync too and has a 144 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time! It's not advertised as a gaming monitor and it it's the 4K, but for a 1080p monitor, it's very nicely loaded and works well with games too. I haven't noticed any blurring with motion. There also hasn't been any tearing when gaming (thanks to FreeSync I believe). It works great for playing games a 1080p and man, ultra high frame rates that come with lower resolution gaming are pretty nice too! It's my experience that you need to set Windows to the max refresh rate of any monitor and this is no different - just go to Windows Settings, "Display", and "Advanced Display" to set the refresh rate to 144 Hz, assuming your PC supports it. Controls There are five buttons under the right side of the bottom edge of the monitor. The right most is power. They're easy to feel. The other four are used to configure the monitor. When you press one to activate the menu system, there are icons that point to each one so you know where to press. That works very well and makes the menu system ok to navigate. Assembly It's easy to put together but different than most monitors I've worked with. While they often have holes in the back for a VESA mounting bracket, this one uses those holes to attach to the stand. To put it together, keep the display in the box, screw the base onto the up-right with the built-in screw that you can turn with your fingers on the bottom of the base. Then position the up-right on the back of the monitor and use the included Philips screwdriver to put the four included screws in the back to secure the monitor to the base. Everything lined up perfectly for me and it attached very well, feeling completely solid and sturdy. Summary If you are looking for a larger 1080p monitor with great motion, vibrant colors, and a higher refresh rate, this checks all the key boxes without having you pay for lots of ports and features that you may never need. The adjustability of the monitor in all directions is an excellent plus!

Overall Experience This monitor is built for people who want better-than-basic performance without paying gaming monitor prices. The combination of IPS color accuracy, 144Hz refresh rate, and 1ms MPRT gives it a noticeably smoother feel than typical 60–75Hz office displays. Text is crisp, motion is fluid, and colors stay consistent across wide viewing angles. Display Quality • 27" IPS panel provides wide 178° viewing angles and more accurate color than VA or TN panels in this price range. • FHD (1920×1080) on a 27" screen is serviceable for productivity and entertainment, though pixel density is modest. For spreadsheets or design work, you’ll see more visible pixel structure than on a 1440p panel. • Brightness and contrast are typical for budget IPS—good for office lighting, not ideal for HDR or cinematic color depth. • Anti glare coating helps reduce reflections, making it comfortable in bright rooms. Motion & Gaming Performance This is where the SE2726HS punches above its weight: • 144Hz refresh rate makes scrolling, gaming, and general UI movement feel dramatically smoother. • 1ms MPRT reduces motion blur during fast action. • AMD FreeSync minimizes screen tearing when paired with compatible GPUs. • Input lag is low enough for casual to mid level gaming. If you’re not a competitive esports player, this monitor delivers more than enough speed. Eye Comfort Dell includes TÜV Rheinland 3 Star eye comfort certification, meaning: • Reduced blue light • Flicker free backlighting • Better long session comfort For long workdays, this is a meaningful advantage over cheaper panels. Connectivity & Build • HDMI + DisplayPort (varies by retailer listing) • Tilt only stand — stable but not height adjustable • Thin bezels make it suitable for dual monitor setups • Dell’s build quality is reliably solid in this class Ideal For • Home office users wanting smoother motion and better color than bargain monitors • Students and general consumers • Casual gamers who want 144Hz without overspending • Multi monitor productivity setups Not Ideal For • Professional color critical work • Users who prefer 1440p or 4K sharpness • Those needing height/rotation adjustments without a VESA arm Final Verdict The Dell SE2726HS is one of the best-value 27" 144Hz IPS monitors available today. It’s not a high resolution panel, but for everyday productivity, smooth motion, and casual gaming, it delivers a polished, comfortable experience at a very accessible price. If you want a monitor that feels significantly smoother than standard office displays without spending gaming monitor money, this is an excellent pick.

Solid business/work monitor at a reasonable price. In the box is the monitor, power cable, HDMI cable, stand, screws, and even a screwdriver. It took about 5 minutes to get setup and working with my computer. The monitor itself is very light and the stand is heavy enough to stay in place while making adjustments. The screen on this monitor is very clear and is large enough to have a few different windows open without any issues. I will say this is not a 4k UHD crystal clear perfect color monitor and as such I would not want to use it for gaming or photoshop. It is however a very clear easy to read business monitor that is not hard on my eyes. I spend hours working in excel, word, outlook, and internet apps that are mostly for reading. This screen has yet to cause me any eye strain or headaches like some of the other monitors I have used. So overall this is a perfect monitor for my work needs! I did have a downside and I'm not sure if its my work computer as it is older, but anytime I tried to adjust the refresh rate the monitor started to artifact. I tried anything from 120hz down to 60hz and it was really bad. I was able to set my windows machine to 50hz and that solved the issues, but still leaves me wondering why it had such an issue at a higher refresh rate. Even at the lower end the monitor still works great for my needs. The other reason I love this monitor is the stand. Most monitors come with a basic stand that has little to no adjustments. This Dell monitor comes with a stand that allows the monitor to adjust for height, side to side, and tilt. Even the bottom of the monitor stand is a disk that allows for the whole thing to be spun left and right. I was thoroughly impressed with the stand as I'm able to adjust it to my needs without having to buy an additional mount. I would not hesistate to buy a second one if needed as the price is solid and the monitor and mount are perfect. 27inch seems to be the sweet spot of large enough to use for work, but not so large it takes up a lot of desk space or that I'm sitting two close that I'm constantly moving my eyes around to see everything. It's not so small that I have to do a lot of scrolling on screens to see information like on my 22inch screen or laptop screen.

The new Dell Monitor Model Number E2726HS has many features that are very desirable in a monitor. The visual is noticeably clear and has a refresh rate of 144 Hz, which is much easier on the eyesight, both short-term and long-term. It is rated high for eye comfort compared to many monitors that still have only a 60 Hz refresh rate. As someone with cornea issues from decades of daily screen time, this is particularly important to me and should be to everyone as a preventive measure, now that we know what blue light can do to eyesight. The 3-star certification indicates that the monitor reduces blue light without compromising color quality. The Anti-glare screen is another Dell feature that adds eye comfort. The 27” screen is designed with ultimate adjustability, but without the adjustable base, it still offers a 178-degree viewing angle, partly due to its design that incorporates In-Plane Switching (IPS). IPS is a type of LCD screen technology that aligns liquid crystals horizontally rather than vertically. This technology produces better color, resulting in a wider viewing angle. The total overall size of the monitor is 24.1” wide, 20” tall with the adjustable base extended, and 8.3” thick. It has a nice, thin, light bezel, and the entire monitor with stand weighs only 11.86 pounds. The monitor is equipped with Free Sync technology and, with its high refresh rate, is designed to synchronize with an AMD GPU's frame output. Originally, this software-based output was for gaming and to make the HDMI connection smoother, without any lag. Instead of a fixed refresh rate, this is a variable refresh rate that synchronizes with the GPU, eliminating transmission lag. The monitor has 2 HDMI 1.4 ports and is wall-mountable with a wall mounting bracket. Where the four small screws connect the base, they would instead connect to a VESA-type wall mount. I love Dell Products and have used them consistently since the early 1990s. I would give this monitor 5 stars if it had either a built-in webcam or speakers, but it has neither. If your life/work requires a lot of Zoom interaction, a webcam and speakers built into the monitor are nice to have. Still, for the price, it produces an excellent picture with rich colors and smooth transmission, making it a very high-quality product. The monitor has a 3-year warranty, and I definitely would not hesitate to recommend it. For under $140, it’s a great buy!

The Dell SE2726HS impressed me right out of the box. It arrived well packaged, with every piece secured to prevent damage during shipping. Setup was refreshingly simple — the instructions were clear, and although Dell includes tools (even a screwdriver), the assembly was so straightforward that I barely needed them. Once on the desk, the monitor immediately stood out for its excellent adjustment range. Adjusting the screen for the perfect viewing angle takes almost no effort, which makes long sessions much more comfortable. The picture quality is crisp and clean, with a clear resolution and noticeably low glare. Whether I’m gaming or watching movies, the 27" size feels just right — large enough to be immersive without overwhelming the space. The small bezel gives it a modern, minimal look, and the overall build feels solid and thoughtfully designed. After using it, I’m already planning to buy more of these for future setups. It’s a fantastic value and a monitor I can confidently recommend.

When I received my new Dell Model # SE2726HS 27" In-plane Switching (IPS) Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) Full High Definition (FHD) 1080p 144Hz FreeSync Monitor, I did some investigation and came to the understanding that 'HS' was Dell's budget model. For a budget model though, this monitor has plenty of positive features, though not all work the way I expected. For example, this monitor boasts a 144Hz (143.99Hz actual) refresh rate with its standard rate at 75.03Hz out of the box at a 1600 x 1024 standard resolution, even though the specs say that it can support 1920 x 1080, which it does only at a lower than 75.03Hz Vertical only refresh rate (it can be adjusted down to 48Hz). However, this is not a Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) monitor and it does not support Dynamic Refresh Rate (DRR). One has to go into Advanced Monitor Settings in Windows 11 to change the static refresh to a higher refresh rate. Once you raise the refresh rate to higher than 75.03Hz then the screen size changes to 1280 x 1024 and no longer fills the screen. On the plus side, it has a 178 degree viewing angle, is certified for Energy Star 8.0, TUV Rheinland Eye Comfort 3 Star, TUV Rheinland Flicker Free, and TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light. It does have an Anti-Glare Matte finish. It has (2) HDMI 1.4 ports. On the minus side, if you are looking for color accuracy andor wide color gamut, then this is not the monitor you are seeking. It only has a 72% color gamut at RGB. It does not even have sRGB, which is the standard for the Web, much less Adobe RGB or ProPhoto RGB. I would not recommend this model for Photo or Video Editing. Contrast is static at 1000:1. No camera or speakers. No HDR support. Still, the Dell - SE2726HS monitor does a good job at the basics of web browsing, business applications and school work. You can do some basic gaming. I would suggest this model to friends who are on a strict budget and need the 27" monitor real estate.

This is a simple, everyday bustiness/home user monitor with a 1080p resolution (1920x1080) and supports high refresh rates. The higher refresh rate is good for a better gaming experience, but it also helps with eye strain. The monitor has a large 27" screen that makes for more comfortable reading. The stand comes mostly pre-assembled. There is a tool-less crew on the base that has a Lazy-Susan on it, and the height is adjustable. Like other Dell monitors, this works very well. The arm has a VESA backplate and requires four included screws (Screwdriver is also included). Takes about a minute to put together, and also comes with an HDMI cable. On the back of the monitor, there are two HDMI inputs, so one can switch between two computers if needed. Note that there is no audio output, not even an RCA out, so if you want audio, use either a docking station or the computer's connections or speakers. The screen is crisp and bright, with uniform colors since being an IPS display. There is no HDR or any other special feature besides the high refresh rate. I'm using this on a work laptop with a docking station, which provides only DisplayPort connectors, so got a cable from DP to HDMI and works fine. There are no distracting lights on the monitor except a tiny light on the power button under the monitor that's just faintly noticeable. Overall, good no-frills office monitor with a crisp and large screen. For a budget and larger monitor, this is just right. The stand is solid and works just fine with no frills.

Very crisp display. Great size! Not too heavy either.

This is a great monitor. I have it next to a window and was afraid of having a glare from the sun but it doesn’t. It’s definitely worth buying.

This 27 inch monitor from Dell is one of the best displays I have ever gotten from the company. It has an outstanding image with excellent color production and a completely flicker free image. During game play or watching movies there is no blur thanks to the rather high refresh rate. The narrow bezels add to the enjoyment of whatever you are viewing and particularly makes movie watching more enjoyable as there is no distraction to what you are watching. The built in stand is easy to adjust to optimize the display to your viewing pleasure, It provides just the right amount of "heft" to hold the display in place on you desk or table when you are adjusting the viewing angle to suit you. It has both HDMI and display port to connect to your computer which provides options for how you want to use the display eiither depending on preference or equipment. Personally I Penerslly prefer HDMI but to each their own. I do like having the option for either as it's always best to have somerthing and not need it than to need something and not hate it. Overall I feel this is an excellent display from Dell.

The Dell - SE2726HS 27" IPS LCD FHD 144Hz FreeSync Monitor is a great all purpose monitor with AMD FreeSync and 144Hz refresh rate. It is 1080p FHD with IPS, providing crispy images with bright, vibrant colors. The 144 Hz refresh rate and the 1ms Moving Picture Response Time provides smooth, fluid motion in all use cases, for office work, streaming and gaming alike. There is good eye strain relief with an Anti-glare surface, Low blue light certification, and Flicker free images. Even though this monitor is priced more like an entry-level LCD, it has a commendable stand that includes Height Adjustment in addition to the standard Swivel, Tilt and Pivot options and if you need to mount it on a wall or multi monitor arm, it also has the standard 100mm VESA mounting capability. The power supply is built-in and comes with a standard AC power cord that most computers also use for the power supply. There are two HDMI 1.4 ports and one HDMI cable is included, but no Display Ports. There are no built-in speakers or audio out from this monitor. There is also no webcam built-in, but I wouldn’t expect one at this price point, though it would be a nice touch. The bezels around the sides and top are very thin for this price-point, which makes this monitor look more premium. The controls are very intuitive under the bottom right side of the front of the monitor with corresponding menus on the screen right above the buttons. I prefer this setup over the ones with a center setup button. All in all, I would recommend this monitor for a home office setup, watching videos and occasional gaming. Bonus - this monitor also comes with a 3-year warranty, which is also very uncommon at this price point.

This monitor is simple plug and play; push the power button on the underside and it comes up ready to use connected to my laptop. I should mention the packing by Dell was excellent to ensure no damage in shipment and in addition to the power cord an HDMI cable was included. The attachment to the stand was ‘old school’, that is to say you connected the stand to the display with four screws – very simple. I was happy with this method as I have a lot of monitors and sometimes I forget where to push or pull to take the stand off the display. In this case it is obvious, so a tip of the cap to the Dell engineers for solid and simple design points as well as respectable specifications. I did notice the ability of the display to swivel on the base, raise the vertical stand higher and also adjust the angle of the display up/down, so you do have a device that can be adjusted for any ergonomics you desire. I ran a color palette generator and the colors were beautiful and I did run through hundreds of colors. Next I ran text sharpness tests and even the smallest fonts were clearly displayed. Finally I did an animation motion test program and was very satisfied with the ability of the display to handle very high motion activity. I did run several games and the display kept up with the action very well. There are displays that will ‘pop’ the colors and action and little more vibrantly, however the price/performance of this display is excellent. I would definitely recommend this solid, well designed unit for basic gaming, email, development activity using presentation software and for document generation.

The Dell SE2726HS is an excellent monitor for business or even light gaming use. I have advocated for years that 60hz monitors are terrible to look at for long periods, so it's nice to see companies like Dell bringing high refresh rates to monitors that aren't blatantly marketed toward gamers. As an IPS display, this has a great response time in addition to the high refresh rate, so there's very little motion blur or ghosting in dark areas. For such an inexpensive display, the height adjustable stand is surprisingly sturdy, and has a rotating base. I also really appreciate that it's got the power supply built in, so you just have to plug in a regular PC power cord instead of having a separate brick to hide away under your desk. I was able to get it up and running in no time thanks to the easy assembly and included screwdriver tool. On an HDMI 2.0 port, I think the highest refresh rate you can set is 120hz, and on HDMI 2.1 you can do the full 144hz - or at least, I was able to get 144hz on a brand new laptop but it topped out at 120hz on the first, lower end computer I connected to. It does default to 60hz when you connect it, so be aware that you probably have to go adjust the refresh rate in your Display settings after hooking it up. At either 120 or 144 hz, mouse input feels buttery smooth. Since it also supports FreeSync, it worked natively with my AMD laptop's graphics to have VRR right away, giving that little bit of extra smoothness in games that you'd expect. Overall, this is a great monitor with understated style that works well if you're just looking to reduce eye strain while working or if you plan to use it for gaming.

The **Dell SE2726HS 27" IPS LCD FHD 144Hz FreeSync Monitor** is a great all-around monitor that I have used heavily both for work and casual game play. I find the monitor to be the right size for my work space as 27 inches isn't too big or small. The thin bezels are nice as they minimise distractions created by the monitor's frame while focusing on what's happening on the monitor itself. The 144 Hz refresh rate is a great improvement from monitors with only 60 Hz. Scrolling through documents and Web pages appears smoother; motions in games or on videos look smoother (no tearing). I do not play competitively but I can tell there is a noticeable difference in performance. Colour accuracy and viewing angles are excellent thanks to the IPS technology. I can easily move around or look at the screen from different angles without a large drop in the colours on the display (great for sharing the screen with other people). The brightness of the display is great for a typical indoor environment and the anti-glare surface helps to reduce glare. The eye comfort features of this monitor are another positive attribute. After using the monitor for long periods of time, it seems that the reduced blue light and the flicker-free display do help to reduce eye fatigue. In conclusion, I have found this to be an excellent and basic monitor for everyday use, media consumption, and light gaming. There are no bells and whistles that you would find on higher end products; just a dependable and consistent monitor.

Firstly this unit came nicely packaged from my local carrier. Unboxing was super simple and getting it rolling was easy peasy. I have a 49 inch curved monitor on my desk that is wayyyy to big and needed something that would be smaller and more ascetically appeasing for my wife. This 27 inch monitor from dell hits all the right spots from super clear clarity to easy functionality. Because this monitor is for gaming we get the ultra fast refresh rate so we don’t really see any lagging or twitching while gaming. One bad thing about this LED display is its inability to dim out the lights coming through dark area into bright highlights causing some light bleeding issues that don’t look the best. I only notice this while gaming in dark areas where a bridge highlight comes through but it’s still worth mentioning because it’s an LED panel. I do think it’s really really bright so gaming in the daytime with windows open will not be a distraction at all and you’ll be able to clearly see everything going on the screen. Overall I highly recommend this monitor for anyone who wants a decent sized monitor that’s great for gaming at all times of the day

Summary: This Dell 27-inch monitor seems designed and built with Home or Work Office use in mind. For example you’re not going to get any privacy in this screen. It has a specifically functioning wide field of view for collaboration with family members or staff to discuss what’s on the screen. Its rugged simple design is functional, and not something that’s going to turn heads. A definite utilitarian working device. It is the perfect size for a typical work-desk. It’s screen is clear and big enough to display multiple visual elements open on the screen. Meanwhile the external dimensions are not physically too obstructive for the typical workspace. I’m not sure I would want to go larger, unless it’s I needed an ultra-wide screen. This monitor hits the sweet spot for getting work done at home, school, or in the office. Features/Specs: Screen Size: 27 inches Input: 2 x HDMI Panel Type: IPS (In Plane Switching) Brightness: ~250 nits (typical for office/home use) Resolution: 1920 × 1080 (Full HD) Response Time: 1ms MPRT (Moving Picture Response Time) Refresh Rate: 144Hz (smooth motion for gaming & scrolling) Color: 16.7 million colors Anti Glare: Yes Contrast Ratio: ~1000:1 (standard IPS contrast) Viewing Angles: 178° horizontal / 178° vertical AMD FreeSync support (reduces tearing during fast screen motion) Works with AMD & many NVIDIA GPUs Low latency performance suitable for casual to mid level gaming 144Hz + 1ms MPRT (Moving Picture Response Time) gives noticeably smoother motion than 60Hz monitors PROS: NO Power Brick: Single 110V 60 Hz Cord from wall outlet to back of panel. CONS: No Display-Port: (important if you rely on Display Port cables for daisy chaining or high end GPUs) Limited Adjustment Options: The only physical adjustment is Tilt. There’s no up-down or side-to-side screen adjustment. In some cases, this can be limiting. CONCLUSION: The Dell - SE2726HS is a work-horse not a race-horse. It would be a very good addition to most home/office environments.
