The SE2726HS is a 1080p monitor with rich, vibrant colors and versatile tilt, swivel, and height adjustments that can even work as a gaming monitor the high refresh rate. Design There is a grey "Dell" logo on the front, bottom, bezel. The logo is visible but muted with the black background of the rest of the bezel. The other three sides of the bezel are thinner, though I wouldn't say the bottom is thick. There are two HDMI 1.4 ports and one power port on the back - that's it. There's no extra power brick either. Just plug the standard (a common type for many computers and monitors) power cable from the wall directly into the back. No other video ports, no USB, no headphone jack, and no built-in speakers. There are adjustments to change the height and angle of the display almost anyway you want. While you can't make it a full portrait orientation, it gets pretty close, give you a large rotation range. There are around 4.5 inches of vertical adjustment, allowing you to slide the display up and down. You can tilt the display up or down too. And the entire thing is resting on turn-table (see picture) that's on the bottom of the base. That makes it easy to turn the display very far in either direction. It includes a power cord and one HDMI cord. There is a basic but effective cable holder in the back of the up-right part of the stand (see picture). It's not very heavy either coming in under 12 lbs. Display The IPS display provides bright and wide viewing angles, horizontally and vertically. Colors are rich and crisp. I was surprised to find that even for what I would consider a value monitor, not only is the display excellent, bright, and evenly lit, but it supports AMD FreeSync too and has a 144 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response time! It's not advertised as a gaming monitor and it it's the 4K, but for a 1080p monitor, it's very nicely loaded and works well with games too. I haven't noticed any blurring with motion. There also hasn't been any tearing when gaming (thanks to FreeSync I believe). It works great for playing games a 1080p and man, ultra high frame rates that come with lower resolution gaming are pretty nice too! It's my experience that you need to set Windows to the max refresh rate of any monitor and this is no different - just go to Windows Settings, "Display", and "Advanced Display" to set the refresh rate to 144 Hz, assuming your PC supports it. Controls There are five buttons under the right side of the bottom edge of the monitor. The right most is power. They're easy to feel. The other four are used to configure the monitor. When you press one to activate the menu system, there are icons that point to each one so you know where to press. That works very well and makes the menu system ok to navigate. Assembly It's easy to put together but different than most monitors I've worked with. While they often have holes in the back for a VESA mounting bracket, this one uses those holes to attach to the stand. To put it together, keep the display in the box, screw the base onto the up-right with the built-in screw that you can turn with your fingers on the bottom of the base. Then position the up-right on the back of the monitor and use the included Philips screwdriver to put the four included screws in the back to secure the monitor to the base. Everything lined up perfectly for me and it attached very well, feeling completely solid and sturdy. Summary If you are looking for a larger 1080p monitor with great motion, vibrant colors, and a higher refresh rate, this checks all the key boxes without having you pay for lots of ports and features that you may never need. The adjustability of the monitor in all directions is an excellent plus!

The most complicated thing about a monitor is the assembly. While even that is fairly simple, it’s important to do it right. The included instructions left a lot to be desired. There was a small piece of paper with some sketches and there were some sketches on the monitor wrapping itself. I prefer words to pictures so I looked at the user’s manual on the Dell support website indicated by the included QR code. The instructions were there, but I didn’t see them until after I had assembled the monitor because they were on page 26 and not at the beginning where I expected them to be. Dell recommends that the stand be attached while the monitor is still in the box. The tool needed to attach the screws is included. The monitor is fully adjustable both up and down and tilt. The height can be adjusted from 19.96 inches to 15.92 inches. The user’s manual says it swivels, but I couldn’t make it swivel side to side without moving the base. What it can do is pivot from horizontal to vertical. There is a cable management clip on the back of the stand. The stand itself is very robust and has a substantial base - about 8 x 8 inches in the front and 8 x 10 inches in the back. The monitor can be wall mounted. There are 2 HDMI ports and a security lock slot. It does not have speakers. The 4 function buttons are easy to use, but impossible to see on the black rimmed screen. It doesn’t matter, though, because they all bring up the same options initially and are then just used for navigation. The menu options are easy to navigate. Although the user’s guide could be better organized, it is very thorough and has all the information that should ever be needed. It includes instructions for troubleshooting using the onboard self diagnostic menu. According to the user’s guide, this monitor supports AMD FreeSync Technology for tear-free, stutter-free, low latency gaming. It has a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz and a rapid response time of 1 ms in MPRT mode. It has wide viewing angles of 178 degrees in both vertical and horizontal directions and is flicker free. Harmful blue light exposure is ≤50%. It is certified with TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort 3.0 with a 3-star rating and is Energy Star certified. I found the colors to be vibrant and true. Those features should make it an acceptable gaming monitor, although there are probably better options for the serious gamers. Written text in a document is as clear as can be expected from a Full HD product. After using a 4K monitor, Full HD text is somewhat blurry. However, for half the price of the 4K version, this one is acceptable. I think 4K would be better for gaming, but this monitor is very suitable for everyday work at a reasonable price.

I was excited to expand my viewing eith a second Dell monitor st my home office. As expected, the monitor arrived securely wrapped and packed. It took just four ir five minutes to get the stand and base attached and plugged it into my desktop. This monitor has bith an hdmi and a displayport options, making it quite versatile. The monitor is lightweight, but the weighted base prevents it from tipping over. The monitor has a crisp picture which is ideal for my left monitor to play live video while i am preparing spreadsheets or documents on my right monitor. Because the monitor is height adjustable, I am able to position it to the exact height of my older Dell monitor. This helps prevent neck and shoulder strain while varying my faze between the two monitors. Overall i feel that this monitor is very high quality. Aesthetically, it is sleek and thin and i anticipate many happy years of great video service. I encourage you to add this monitor whether you are exoanding uour screen dpace or setting up a laptop station.

The new Dell Monitor Model Number E2726HS has many features that are very desirable in a monitor. The visual is noticeably clear and has a refresh rate of 144 Hz, which is much easier on the eyesight, both short-term and long-term. It is rated high for eye comfort compared to many monitors that still have only a 60 Hz refresh rate. As someone with cornea issues from decades of daily screen time, this is particularly important to me and should be to everyone as a preventive measure, now that we know what blue light can do to eyesight. The 3-star certification indicates that the monitor reduces blue light without compromising color quality. The Anti-glare screen is another Dell feature that adds eye comfort. The 27” screen is designed with ultimate adjustability, but without the adjustable base, it still offers a 178-degree viewing angle, partly due to its design that incorporates In-Plane Switching (IPS). IPS is a type of LCD screen technology that aligns liquid crystals horizontally rather than vertically. This technology produces better color, resulting in a wider viewing angle. The total overall size of the monitor is 24.1” wide, 20” tall with the adjustable base extended, and 8.3” thick. It has a nice, thin, light bezel, and the entire monitor with stand weighs only 11.86 pounds. The monitor is equipped with Free Sync technology and, with its high refresh rate, is designed to synchronize with an AMD GPU's frame output. Originally, this software-based output was for gaming and to make the HDMI connection smoother, without any lag. Instead of a fixed refresh rate, this is a variable refresh rate that synchronizes with the GPU, eliminating transmission lag. The monitor has 2 HDMI 1.4 ports and is wall-mountable with a wall mounting bracket. Where the four small screws connect the base, they would instead connect to a VESA-type wall mount. I love Dell Products and have used them consistently since the early 1990s. I would give this monitor 5 stars if it had either a built-in webcam or speakers, but it has neither. If your life/work requires a lot of Zoom interaction, a webcam and speakers built into the monitor are nice to have. Still, for the price, it produces an excellent picture with rich colors and smooth transmission, making it a very high-quality product. The monitor has a 3-year warranty, and I definitely would not hesitate to recommend it. For under $140, it’s a great buy!

This monitor is 27” LCD SE2726HS FHD is a productivity-focused model in which Dell equips a noticeable great feature such as 144Hz FreeSync with 1 millisecond response time and vibrant colors. I honestly didn’t expect this level of performance compared to its retail price which is a great value considering it is a Dell brand that is known for “High quality and cutting-edge technology”. Setup is simple and easy and hassle-free. The stand is fixed with height adjustment only. My experience went smoothly and I liked how scrolling webpages are fluid and windows move around with zero lag whatever. Beyond productivity, I connected my ASUS ROG Ally to the monitor, and gaming was also great and responsive thanks to the high refresh rate and crisp colors. I didn’t notice any screen tearing or lag during gaming. I appreciate how Dell made the balance between productivity and casual gaming. The IPS screen looks sharp and surprisingly pleasing to my eyes, especially with the built-in eye comfort feature that reduces blue lights. Videos and text on the screen are clean and clear. The thin bezels make the screen look bigger that 27”. In terms of portability, the monitor lightweight makes it easy to carry and move around. Build quality is excellent, which is exactly what I expect from Dell. That said, while the colors and overall picture quality are great, if you have a 4K and switch to work on this monitor you will notice the 1080p resolution. I wish it had 1440p. Still more than what I need for my productivity and causal gaming needs. My final thoughts, this Dell SE2726HS is an excellent value monitor for the price. For those who look for smooth performance, responsiveness, and crisp colors without hurting their pocket, then this Dell monitor is a solid choice.

Overall Experience This monitor is built for people who want better-than-basic performance without paying gaming monitor prices. The combination of IPS color accuracy, 144Hz refresh rate, and 1ms MPRT gives it a noticeably smoother feel than typical 60–75Hz office displays. Text is crisp, motion is fluid, and colors stay consistent across wide viewing angles. Display Quality • 27" IPS panel provides wide 178° viewing angles and more accurate color than VA or TN panels in this price range. • FHD (1920×1080) on a 27" screen is serviceable for productivity and entertainment, though pixel density is modest. For spreadsheets or design work, you’ll see more visible pixel structure than on a 1440p panel. • Brightness and contrast are typical for budget IPS—good for office lighting, not ideal for HDR or cinematic color depth. • Anti glare coating helps reduce reflections, making it comfortable in bright rooms. Motion & Gaming Performance This is where the SE2726HS punches above its weight: • 144Hz refresh rate makes scrolling, gaming, and general UI movement feel dramatically smoother. • 1ms MPRT reduces motion blur during fast action. • AMD FreeSync minimizes screen tearing when paired with compatible GPUs. • Input lag is low enough for casual to mid level gaming. If you’re not a competitive esports player, this monitor delivers more than enough speed. Eye Comfort Dell includes TÜV Rheinland 3 Star eye comfort certification, meaning: • Reduced blue light • Flicker free backlighting • Better long session comfort For long workdays, this is a meaningful advantage over cheaper panels. Connectivity & Build • HDMI + DisplayPort (varies by retailer listing) • Tilt only stand — stable but not height adjustable • Thin bezels make it suitable for dual monitor setups • Dell’s build quality is reliably solid in this class Ideal For • Home office users wanting smoother motion and better color than bargain monitors • Students and general consumers • Casual gamers who want 144Hz without overspending • Multi monitor productivity setups Not Ideal For • Professional color critical work • Users who prefer 1440p or 4K sharpness • Those needing height/rotation adjustments without a VESA arm Final Verdict The Dell SE2726HS is one of the best-value 27" 144Hz IPS monitors available today. It’s not a high resolution panel, but for everyday productivity, smooth motion, and casual gaming, it delivers a polished, comfortable experience at a very accessible price. If you want a monitor that feels significantly smoother than standard office displays without spending gaming monitor money, this is an excellent pick.

This is a simple, everyday bustiness/home user monitor with a 1080p resolution (1920x1080) and supports high refresh rates. The higher refresh rate is good for a better gaming experience, but it also helps with eye strain. The monitor has a large 27" screen that makes for more comfortable reading. The stand comes mostly pre-assembled. There is a tool-less crew on the base that has a Lazy-Susan on it, and the height is adjustable. Like other Dell monitors, this works very well. The arm has a VESA backplate and requires four included screws (Screwdriver is also included). Takes about a minute to put together, and also comes with an HDMI cable. On the back of the monitor, there are two HDMI inputs, so one can switch between two computers if needed. Note that there is no audio output, not even an RCA out, so if you want audio, use either a docking station or the computer's connections or speakers. The screen is crisp and bright, with uniform colors since being an IPS display. There is no HDR or any other special feature besides the high refresh rate. I'm using this on a work laptop with a docking station, which provides only DisplayPort connectors, so got a cable from DP to HDMI and works fine. There are no distracting lights on the monitor except a tiny light on the power button under the monitor that's just faintly noticeable. Overall, good no-frills office monitor with a crisp and large screen. For a budget and larger monitor, this is just right. The stand is solid and works just fine with no frills.

When I received my new Dell Model # SE2726HS 27" In-plane Switching (IPS) Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) Full High Definition (FHD) 1080p 144Hz FreeSync Monitor, I did some investigation and came to the understanding that 'HS' was Dell's budget model. For a budget model though, this monitor has plenty of positive features, though not all work the way I expected. For example, this monitor boasts a 144Hz (143.99Hz actual) refresh rate with its standard rate at 75.03Hz out of the box at a 1600 x 1024 standard resolution, even though the specs say that it can support 1920 x 1080, which it does only at a lower than 75.03Hz Vertical only refresh rate (it can be adjusted down to 48Hz). However, this is not a Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) monitor and it does not support Dynamic Refresh Rate (DRR). One has to go into Advanced Monitor Settings in Windows 11 to change the static refresh to a higher refresh rate. Once you raise the refresh rate to higher than 75.03Hz then the screen size changes to 1280 x 1024 and no longer fills the screen. On the plus side, it has a 178 degree viewing angle, is certified for Energy Star 8.0, TUV Rheinland Eye Comfort 3 Star, TUV Rheinland Flicker Free, and TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light. It does have an Anti-Glare Matte finish. It has (2) HDMI 1.4 ports. On the minus side, if you are looking for color accuracy andor wide color gamut, then this is not the monitor you are seeking. It only has a 72% color gamut at RGB. It does not even have sRGB, which is the standard for the Web, much less Adobe RGB or ProPhoto RGB. I would not recommend this model for Photo or Video Editing. Contrast is static at 1000:1. No camera or speakers. No HDR support. Still, the Dell - SE2726HS monitor does a good job at the basics of web browsing, business applications and school work. You can do some basic gaming. I would suggest this model to friends who are on a strict budget and need the 27" monitor real estate.

Solid business/work monitor at a reasonable price. In the box is the monitor, power cable, HDMI cable, stand, screws, and even a screwdriver. It took about 5 minutes to get setup and working with my computer. The monitor itself is very light and the stand is heavy enough to stay in place while making adjustments. The screen on this monitor is very clear and is large enough to have a few different windows open without any issues. I will say this is not a 4k UHD crystal clear perfect color monitor and as such I would not want to use it for gaming or photoshop. It is however a very clear easy to read business monitor that is not hard on my eyes. I spend hours working in excel, word, outlook, and internet apps that are mostly for reading. This screen has yet to cause me any eye strain or headaches like some of the other monitors I have used. So overall this is a perfect monitor for my work needs! I did have a downside and I'm not sure if its my work computer as it is older, but anytime I tried to adjust the refresh rate the monitor started to artifact. I tried anything from 120hz down to 60hz and it was really bad. I was able to set my windows machine to 50hz and that solved the issues, but still leaves me wondering why it had such an issue at a higher refresh rate. Even at the lower end the monitor still works great for my needs. The other reason I love this monitor is the stand. Most monitors come with a basic stand that has little to no adjustments. This Dell monitor comes with a stand that allows the monitor to adjust for height, side to side, and tilt. Even the bottom of the monitor stand is a disk that allows for the whole thing to be spun left and right. I was thoroughly impressed with the stand as I'm able to adjust it to my needs without having to buy an additional mount. I would not hesistate to buy a second one if needed as the price is solid and the monitor and mount are perfect. 27inch seems to be the sweet spot of large enough to use for work, but not so large it takes up a lot of desk space or that I'm sitting two close that I'm constantly moving my eyes around to see everything. It's not so small that I have to do a lot of scrolling on screens to see information like on my 22inch screen or laptop screen.

Sometimes it is the small things a company does that shows they care about their customers. Its either that or I'm too easily impressed. The monitor came in a box that seems to weigh as much as the monitor itself. It was well insulated from damage. The small instruction sheet was a bit off-putting until I realized it really was all I needed due to how easy this monitor could be mounted. The stand fits onto the base which has what amounts to a turnkey to keep it in place. All set in less than a minute. The stand has a place that keeps the cords together and organized. Now, two more small things that impressed me. First, it came with a screwdriver shaped like an Allen wrench. First time I saw such a thing. Second, I didn't need to take off the protective cover to mount it. The cover comes perforated on back so the monitor is protected when I attached the monitor to the stand which was just adding four screws. I think that took me about two minutes to do. In less than ten minutes the monitor was set-up with no worries about scratches or if the screws were on tight enough. With a 27 inch screen, I found it to be a bit too big for my desk set up so it now attached to the family desktop. The color and clarity are amazing and much better than the old monitor. The colors are vivid and I'm not left wondering if I'm seeing purple or blue. I can actually tell how many pictures have a bicycle in them. The monitor does not have speakers or a microphone but that is an easy addition. It does have two HDMI slots so you can attach it to your computer as well as a gaming station if you'd like and just toggle between them. Dell has definitely impressed me with this monitor.

This Dell 27” 144Hz Free Sync monitor is an excellent value monitor for one's home office. Out of the box, it was extremely easy to attach the monitor to the stand - a small allen wrench with a phillips screw head is included so you don’t even have to dig out the junk drawer screwdriver. I like that the stand swivels, tilts, and allows for height adjustment of the monitor, plus the ability to turn the monitor from landscape to portrait. The monitor responds quickly when in use, and I found the coloring to be very accurate. With it being a mid-range resolution screen, it isn’t the sharpest, but if it’s being primarily used for office work or school work, then that shouldn’t be noticeable to most people. (I mostly noticed it because the second monitor I have has a higher resolution screen.) Since I am using this in my home office setup, I do have the eye comfort setting in use and I feel like this setting does help with eye strain. Overall, I think this is an excellent mid-level monitor and I think it would be perfect for most people’s home office needs.

The Dell SE2726HS impressed me right out of the box. It arrived well packaged, with every piece secured to prevent damage during shipping. Setup was refreshingly simple — the instructions were clear, and although Dell includes tools (even a screwdriver), the assembly was so straightforward that I barely needed them. Once on the desk, the monitor immediately stood out for its excellent adjustment range. Adjusting the screen for the perfect viewing angle takes almost no effort, which makes long sessions much more comfortable. The picture quality is crisp and clean, with a clear resolution and noticeably low glare. Whether I’m gaming or watching movies, the 27" size feels just right — large enough to be immersive without overwhelming the space. The small bezel gives it a modern, minimal look, and the overall build feels solid and thoughtfully designed. After using it, I’m already planning to buy more of these for future setups. It’s a fantastic value and a monitor I can confidently recommend.

This monitor makes everything I do on my computer look gorgeous. The 144Hz refresh rate makes the experience feel buttery smooth, especially when playing games on it. The colors are sharp and I love the adjustable setting. Setup was quick and easy, just connect the parts, screw in a few bolts and you're good to go! The height adjustment makes it easy to find a comfortable position, and the eye comfort features help during longer sessions. Overall, this is an excellent monitor that performs well for both gaming and everyday use. Highly recommended!
Good monitor for sim racing. I recommend turning up the brightness in the monitor settings and using your graphics driver to turn up saturation. I find color being washed out to be an issue.

Surprised at the color and clarity. Had trouble figuring out how to adjust height but just needed a little more pressure. Like the anti-glare too.

I needed new monitor for work but didn't want to spend a whole lot. This screen was just what I was looking for. I like the high refresh rate and color saturation. The best part of the monitor is that it rotates into portrait mode and the height is adjustable. The 1 year warranty is nice but I have never needed to use it on a dell screen.

Purchased this monitor in a package with a Dell Desktop. Very impressed by the quality.
