Dell - UltraSharp 27 4K U2725QE - Black, Silver, Dual Color

Works perfect! if I wasn't short $400 I'd buy another

This might be a 5-star monitor for some, but unfortunately, it didn't work out for me. I loved the clean, chinless design with no branding on the front. I loved the amount of connectivity--that pop-down hub on the left is so useful, and the Ethernet is a great extra feature. I loved having 120hz. The panel had no backlight bleed and felt very uniform. The KVM worked quickly to swap between my PC and my Macbook. But for whatever reason, the monitor gave me awful eye strain. I tried everything--adjusting height, distance, brightness, contrast, scaling, and nothing seemed to help. Most of the strain seemed to come while using my Mac, and I learned that 4K does not scale properly within MacOS, leading to slightly blurry edges. Because my primary use-case for this monitor is text and writing (I stare at words for many hours a day), this was not acceptable. I've since changed to an Asus 5K monitor, and the improvement in clarity is obvious. Text is crisp and scaled properly within Windows, so if you are a PC user, this monitor will probably be fine for you. But some Mac users, particularly those who need perfect clarity, may have issues. I also experienced the dreaded "coil whine" issue after about a week of use, and it's not nearly as bad as some people make it out to be if you don't share a bedroom with your computer. However, for something of this price, I would expect better quality control. I do recommend the monitor, because I'm sure it will work great for most people.

Amazing monitor, 2nd Dell UltraSharp that I have used. My U2720 went out and decided to get the new 2025 model. Color is perfect out of the box, 120 refresh rate is noticeable smoother than my older one. Also, daisy chaining between two works perfectly. Only downside is the audio out for external speakers. Might be my specific speakers of general, but the audio was garbage. I ended up getting an Audio to USB C adapter and plugged in to the front USB C port. Also, related to gaming, if you are not a competitive gamer, this will work perfect for you. I use it for work on a Mac and Xbox Series X. Zero complaints.

This Dell monitor is an adequate monitor in meeting my needs as a mac user. It has a plethora of connections, is fast (120Hz, but not a gaming monitor) and has adequate color with deep blacks. However, the resolution doesn't match well with mac operating system and the whites are washed out (white point and color scheme doesn't match mac OS). Returned item as it didn't meet my needs. Windows users may have different opinions.

I bought it recently, It’s a valuable choice for long-term and daily use, such as working, studying, and searching. The fantastic screen quality, eye comfort features, and numerous ports are its advantages. Althought it’s expensive, I give it five stars because it fulfills my expectations, such as quality, acceptable speed, and being eye-friendly.
