I purchased this item open box in "excellent" condition. Meaning it should 100% come with original box and w/e else came in the package. FLAG 1: When I opened the box there was no charger, so I should have been charged for "good" condition. No big deal I went to best buy and they gave me a free Dell charger. FLAG 2: When you plug the charger into the laptop in had a yellow triangle and the screen it says how the computer may not run to it's full potential due to the cord. FLAG 3: at the very top of this warning screen it says the model is XPS 9720. That came as a shock since I purchased an XPS 9730 and the box it was delivered in says it's an XPS 9730. FLAG 4: I decided to look at the graphic card because to be frank I'm not that savy with computers and maybe it's supposed to say XPS 9720...Well it's a completely different graphic card than the XPS 9730. Further investigation shows that the XPS 9720 is a 2022 model and the XPS 9730 is an 2023 model. How can you sell me an XPS 9730 computer however give me a XPS 9720 computer in the box of the XPS 9730? This is EXTREMELY disappointing and unacceptable. CHECK YOUR ITEMS!!!

This laptop is very comparable to the 2023 MacBook Pro M2 32GB for those who are looking for a very powerful Microsoft Windows laptop who are not an macbook fan. This is one of the best Dell XPS laptops every built that is on the market right now. No other laptops are competing with the Dell XPS 17 at the moment besides gaming PC. This laptop however is powerful enough for both school, work and gaming all-in-one.

Got the computer and setup WiFi then updated Windows 11. Setup McAfee Live Safe 12 month subscription. Ran Dell Support Assist to update 6 drivers. During the updates, lost Internet connection. WiFi no longer working, driver problem. Unable to fix, called Dell Support. Used another computer to download WiFi driver and copied to my Dell. Uninstalled WiFi driver and attempted to install downloaded driver but kept failing. Dell recommended Factory Reset. After Reset, WiFi working again. Next day McAfee wants to activate 30 day trial of Virus Scan. Called Dell Support again and tech had to remote in to reinstall McAfee Live Safe 12 month subscription. After hours and days of repairs, my new Dell XPS 17 9730 is working fine. All I have to do now is install my Thunderbolt Dock WD22TB4, but that's another story.

I like it mainly because the battery life is much longer thanit was on my last, very top of the line machine. As to speed, it is OK but my old machine may be faster. Also the display is no better. One mild complaint would be the built in camera, which is only 720. For a $3K machine, I would have expected a 1080p camera. You can easily tell the difference between 720 and 1080p, which almost all external cameras for desktop machines have been for many years.

This is a great combination of speed, durability, and a clear screen.

I got a great this on this laptop and it has been working marvelous. It has an impressive screen resolution and not tonmention the amazing gaming capabilities.

Its has been a great laptop for school and loght gamong. Screen is great but hdr is poor. Trackpad feels nice and is nice but when its chargi g it has an issue with tracking so a mouse is need when charging. But still great even after heavy use

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!! My old laptop was 15 years old and so slow and I could not use Cricut Design Space and this is the best and hoping it lasts 15 years. Love Dell products, they have always been superior in all areas.

Can get very hot when using a lot of programs at once, decent battery life, good performance.

I used this laptop for ONE month and the hardware stopped detecting my speakers! No refund from Best Buy, and no support! $2800 gone to waste!
