A: This laptop has a 1 TB SSD drive. One TB stands for Terabyte which is 1000 GB so it is twice what your college student needs/requested. And SSD stands for Solid State Drive which means there are no moving parts which is faster and more durable than the other type of hard drive. This device is a bit on the smaller side which has pros and cons. I like it because it is very light and can actually be used in tablet mode. Larger laptops have a bigger screen but can be heavy and way too clumsy to use in tablet mode. This machine is also super fast! I would've loved to have one when I was in school.
