Like coffee maker because can use whole beans, has variety of coffee cup types and is easy to use. I have not tried steaming milk. Keep cup under coffee drip location as water will come out when turn on and off.

Set up process was tedious but once you get through it, this machine makes amazing coffee and espresso. Most importantly, within 1 minute you can have amazing coffee. I highly recommend it.

Bought this coffee machine to upgrade the coffee making experience. It definitely makes a difference when rushing out the door in the mornings. Fast, east press of the button makes a hot coffee and we also use the hot water/steam wand to make tea. Can't live without it and so far it's been good after a year in.

Purchased online and first machine was defective. After diagnosing with De'Longhi customer service, I was advised to take back to Best Buy and get it replaced. Done with no hassle. Second machine works perfectly and makes great coffee! I am still playing around with all the settings, but am convinced this was a great buy!

I had a Phillips product and it doesnt even compare to the DeLonghi. Much better espresso and easy to use and clean compared to others.

Overall it is a great machine. Grinds well. Quick to make 1 cup of coffee (at a time). I have 3 complaints…1, even at the strongest settings the coffee does not seem very strong. 2, so far I can only make 1 (measurement) cup of coffee at a time. Why not more volume? 1 cup of coffee is too small! 3, the steamer is confusing to use. It is the same button to dispense hot water…so, often instead of steaming my milk I dispense hot water! Maybe all will be solved after a few more months of use. But, 1 month in, I still have a fair bit to learn to make this appliance great!

The coffee is great. If you can afford the price. My friend has one and he has had it for 5 years with no problems. But this is a delicate machine. You have to take care of it. Clean it and descale it regularly. If you don’t you will just throw away a lot of money. If you just want a quick coffee as you are running out the door get a Kurig. But if you take care of it you will have great coffee for years and will prefer your home coffee over Starbucks.

Has elevated our mornings and days ! Easy to use --- Glad we bought this over the manual expresso option The only downside is the descale program light comes on far too quickly,,, so we just ignore it and run the process when it suits us.

I’ve had the brevelle barista express for years & loved it.. we got this as an upgrade needing the out main features- and oh man has it been exceptional… a little pricy and wish that the machine was all metal instead of plastic but it’s been amazing

We had the older model for close to 10 years but after it started leaking we decided to get a new one. While some of the new features are nice, the older model was actually quite a bit better. It completed its cycle for brewing considerable faster and the over all style was much preferred. This version had photographs and honestly it’s very unclear what the difference is between a couple of them - they over all new is much shorter. You used to be able to brew a double long shot and get something close to a 10 ounce cup of coffee - that is no longer possible. You have to go through lhenalready long cycle twice to get what would be one button on the old machine.
