A: Yep its 8 and a letter, i could not read mine and delta replaced the PIN. Nice that it never expires

A: That is correct what the Delta customer service stated. You should have 8 numbers and one letter. If you tried to peel off the area versus scratching possibly the first 3 came off. Hope you can get it exchanged or them issue you an new one.
