Outstanding receiver that exceeds my expectations. Easy and quick to set to set-up. I had my hubs, sound, and controller as functioning seamlessly within 20 min. The sound quality was excellent for music and once I fine-tuned the center speaker was good for dialogue during movies (initially had trouble hearing with surround sound settings but was able to easily tweak) Highly recommend as quality system at a reasonable cost.

Replaced an older Denon with this unit. Not sure exactly why, but it sounds leaps and bounds better (same sound system and tv) than the older version. Very happy with this purchase.

This AVR was the perfect solution to my speaker situation with bose front columns, bose center, new compact subwoofer and side bose shelf speakers. Dolby Atmos streaming makes me feel like I'm in the theater. HELOS works great for all radio and streaming services. Intuitive menu systems automatic setup with calibration microphone and manual tweaking ability make this a solid buy.

Excellent as long as you do the calibration correctly! Great sound separation. However after 3 days it bugged out and would not shut off so I had to pull the outlet plug but it was fine afterwards! The speaker you have will be the true difference.

Love this Denon product . This is 2nd Denon Amp I have bought in 20 yrs. The sound is very clean . The system practically sets its self up. Internet radio , FM, phono input, Thumb drive input . What else do you need for playback options…and a ton of HDMI inputs .

Bought this receiver to replace an old one. Works great and very easy to install. I have it attached to six surround sound speakers. Works great. Have it connected to speakers, cable box, TV and blue ray player.

Great unit except look at below advertisements pasted on lower right front .How do I get them off without scratching the AVR ?? I'm would like to return for one with out the decals. None of your store pictures show them

I got this Denon after having a terrible experience from two other brands. The Denon is far and beyond a better piece of equipment. The setup was a breeze and the sound quality is absolutely fantastic. I can't say enough good things about this receiver.

I have had Denon equipment in the past and have always valued the quality of sound, durability of equipment, flexibility. This piece is no exception - they put the "qua" in quality! Even though it will do more than I want of need I still value this piece.

awesome home theater system, very easy set up and calibration with the included microphone, as much power as you need, the clarity in intense, the only thing you have to do for xbox series x is hook it to the TV but then it will pass through the denon but thats the way microsoft designed it, this has everything you need in a quality home theater receiver for the next 10 years, it is futurre tech proof, you will not regret purchasing this system

We got this denon receiver to replace a Sony AV receiver that was not working correctly. The Sony was going to be too much to repair so we bought a new receiver. I wish I would’ve bought that denon first, as it sounds significantly better than the Sony did and seems to be a better build quality. For less than $1000 this is a very good choice for an AVreceiver.

We like the sound. The nuance of instruments is noticeable and dynamic. Separation of channels is good. Now the bad. Owned it for less than two weeks and had to call Denon tech support because the Setup Menu would not display on the TV. This issue was resolved by unplugging the unit for a while and letting it reset. Now (after less than a month of ownership) we are having an issue with the video. The picture would stay on for a few seconds, then go black, then back on and off again. The pattern just kept repeating itself every time we shut down the system and rebooted. We tried unplugging the unit for 30 minutes to reset, but had the same result. We isolated the issue to the receiver by changing cables, then hooking the source directly to the TV. After the AVR being unplugged for two days, it is kind of working again. When booted up, it may or may not produce sound or picture. Very frustrating!
