The assembly for the turntable is easy, you just have to follow the simple instructions and it’s ready to go. This is my second record player but my first one over $100. The design is simple, yet sleek and sturdy. It has some weight to it, which is good. This definitely has more to it than my previous one. I still need to read all the instructions to get the best sound and use but overall I am loving this turntable.

I researched alot of record players before settling on this one. I wanted a record player that was more rated as higher then beginner level, but still had an auto start and stop. This one fit the bill. I can even do upgrades on the cartridge later. I was nervous about what the set up would entail, but as long as you follow the directions, it is easy to set up. I really enjoy the sound quality, as it sounds very full and warm. I love that it is automatic, so I can press a button for it to start the record and it will automatically lift the arm and stop the record when it is over. This is great for me as I may be doing other things in another room and will not bet able to get to it in time.

Exactly as advertised, excellent sound and easy to use. Very simple, crisp clear sound. Materials are of very good quality, like that of turntables much more costly. Only watch out, really read the instructions carefully. There is some assembly required, look at the diagrams and the arrows very close.

The Denon 300F is a fantastic fully automatic turntable that delivers hours of listening enjoyment without the work of a manual turntable. I purchased this turntable several years ago for my wife who needed an automatic to replace her manual Pro-Ject in her home office. The turntable has not had any issues and has worked flawlessly since purchasing, which prompted me to purchase this second one to add to our receiver downstairs. Setup is very easy out of the box and only requires a few minutes to set up and balance the tonearm, especially if you have a turntable stylus force scale. For vinyl collectors, there are good turntables and there are great turntables and this falls under the latter. As with anything, quality does cost, and this turntable was luckily on sale at the time from Best Buy at a great price. If you are interested in purchasing a fully automatic turntable that delivers, then consider the Denon 300F from someone that has purchased 2 and has not been disappointed with either purchase.

This turntable works like a champ (at this price point). As my first turntable it is easy to set up and I love the auto off feature it offers. The only inconvenience part is the length of the phono cable. I definitely recommend it if you look for a solid turntable at a affordable price range.

Easy to use, sleek design. Quality product. Sounds great . So much fun listening to old favorite albums.

I would recomend this to any one that did not have at least 1k to spend on a better turntable this one plays great I have a sweet set up and my klipsch speakers never sounded so good

After reading the reviews I decided to purchase this unit. I went for the full automatic turntable for the obvious reasons and it did function as stated in the listing. What I was disappointed w was the build, plastic throughout the unit. The worst is the 8¢ plastic 45’ adapter. The sound w the current cart was lacking, nothing inspiring through my B&W system. For reference, I played my Technics 1210M5G w an Ortofon cartridge and it was night and day. Fleetwood Mack’s Rumors came alive. I’m aware the vast differences of the tables and I’m not wanting a DJ turntable on my entertainment center but for $500 I would want better sound which this lacks. Plastic throughout, bad cartridge and the sound dampening is poor, really poor. I would buy this at 1/2 price and I would be happy but not at the current price point. Turntable Lab has this exact unit w an Ortofon Red cartridge and cork mat for $20 more than BB if your reading reviews like I did before purchasing.

Decided to get back into vinyl and this looked like a great player to get for the long haul. I like that it’s fully automatic and that I can upgrade the needle. Works well with my Sonos amp too!

I needed a turntable that has the phono equilizer to go with my new Sonos amp. This works beautifully. Easy to set up and plays my 45 year old albums perfectly.

I choose this over an Orbit based on price. The style is simple but functional, looks good on my entertainment rack. Sounds pretty good, I will upgrade the needle soon.

I boug a Audio Technica an I returned it after I purchase a maratz from amazon did like it but I when back to my Glendale store an finally bought a DenonDP 300F excellent item for the price!!

I love it and it simple, easy set up and collaborating. No issues since purchased date. Would certainly recommend this play

This turntable is comfortable to use. When you lift the arm to play you feel control over what your doing. I have other tables such as pro-ject t1, a u-turn, and other vintage but this is the most natural feeling TT of any I own. My other tables seem like they don't want you to touch them and just feel odd when placing the arm on the record. Also, you don't appreciate having an automatic TT until you lived with full manuals for years. So care free being able to listen to music without worrying about catching the arm before it hits the label.

Picked up the Denon DP-300F a few weeks ago and I’m really impressed with it. I wanted something fully automatic that didn’t feel cheap or plasticky, and this hits the mark. It’s got a clean, minimalist design that looks great on my setup—low profile but still feels substantial and well-built. Setup was simple, even for someone not super experienced with turntables. The built-in phono preamp is a huge plus since I didn’t need to buy anything extra to hook it up to my speakers. The automatic start and stop functions are smooth, and the tonearm returns gently—feels very refined. Sound quality is warm and rich, and the stock cartridge is decent, though I might upgrade it down the line. Only real downside is the buttons feel a little dated, kind of plasticky, but functionally they work fine. For casual listening and vinyl enthusiasts who want convenience without sacrificing quality, this turntable’s a solid choice.

I am quite satisfied with my Denon DP-300F turntable, but I’m probably being somewhat generous with a 4-star rating. Since I have only had the unit for a week, I cannot comment on its long-term performance and reliability. Automatic operation was my primary purchase criterion, and that meant choosing from a very limited number of new products or from a much larger number of older (vintage), refurbished products. My decision to get the DP-300F was based on its auto start/stop feature, the large number of on-line turntable reviews, and the solid reputation that Denon products have had over the years Here’s what I like about this turntable: Most important is the fact that my LPs (in storage for 20 years) sound great with my relatively modest receiver and speakers. The auto start/stop feature functions exactly as expected; the needle is set down softly on the LP, the tonearm returns to the tonearm rest after the last song, and the platter stops spinning. Price is always important, and it certainly helped that the DP-300F price was reduced significantly from its normal level. I also should mention that all items on the parts list were in the box and in perfect condition, since some reviewers had a different experience. Here’s where I think the turntable misses the mark: My main criticism relates to the inadequate instructions for balancing the tonearm. After spending several hours trying in vain to get their balancing instructions to work, I was ready to return the unit to the store. I thought I had done everything right, but when I put on an LP and pressed the “on” button, the tonearm would not descend enough to allow contact between the stylus and the LP. Then I stumbled across an online review that focused on the very same issue. It turns out that the key to my problem was a tiny Phillips screw that is not mentioned anywhere in the instructions. It is not even visible unless you move the tonearm off the rest. Anyway, after readjusting this screw numerous times, the tonearm finally performed exactly as it should. In contrast to the setup issue, my other criticisms could be viewed as trivial. A small clip to lock down the tonearm should have been included. The RCA cable is hard-wired, which makes it impossible for a person to use a different (perhaps better quality) cable. The mechanical operation of the four buttons (speed/size/on/off) does not exactly give the impression of long-term durability. It would also have been nice if the cartridge had been fitted with an elliptical stylus instead of a conical one. The heavy reliance on plastic in manufacturing the turntable produces a cheap look and feel. Overall, it does not seem to me that this turntable lives up to the Denon reputation. Given the price I paid for the Denon DP-300F and the features it offers (and in spite of its shortcomings), I would recommend it as a good option for those who want an automatic turntable.

Great turn table. The automatic feature works great. I did have to calibrate the speed as it was a couple RPM fast out of the box for both 33 1/3 and 45. I replaced the cartridge with a Sumiko Pearl and the two work wonderfully together.

Excellent simple machine. Nice looking and great performance. The tonearm drops the needle at the right spot and lifts it correctly. The sound is very good and easy to assemble. Very light but solid. I really enjoy this turntable. It lacks a clamp to secure the tonearm to its base and the reason I giving 4 stars is because the turntable does not suppress the sound at landing nor at take off. The noise at high volume when the needle looses contact with the record may damage your equipment badly. Other than that this record player is highly recommended.

The sound quality is excellent. The set up was easy. The automatic feature was just what we wanted.
