Really stepped into the future with this lock, I walk up wave my hand and it just unlocks the door how sweet is that. I have it programmed for both my hands. My mom's hands. And the best part of all my girlfriend's been wanting a key to my house. And I haven't wanted to give her one this lock gives me the ability to give her a code and set up her handprint and I can take away the ability for her code and handprint to unlock the door and reactivate it whenever I want. You can change how fast the lock automatically relocks. I really love this thing. It looks good and it functions well. Super easy to install. And it also works with a key just incase. Highly recommend

My friend has been using this DESLOC K140 Plus at his home, and after seeing how convenient the palm vein recognition and auto-lock features were, I decided to buy the same one from Best Buy. The setup was straightforward, and I really like the keyless entry and large battery capacity.

I love the sleek look and clean lines of this lock. I have a new door coming, but I already temporarily tried this on another door. The palm scanner is awesome. Great price and works well

This has a super easy set up. I have a fact that I could just swipe my hand up and my door unlocks. I love that it has so many different settings. If you have a family that requires a caregiver, then you can set up their own password, and it even shows who unlocks the door on the app. I also love that you can do a one time passcode set up so if you have someone coming over for the day like a dog sitter or something that has to be set up for them and then it will erase. We also have four family members on their set up right now with passcodes and also the hand recognition which makes us really easy for our kids.

There's so much to say about this, with so little time. 1st. Put this lock in your cart, and read this review while you shop for other things to buy along with it. This is a go. Yes. I did give it a 4 out of 5. Not a full 5, because as with many of these locks. You may not be able to use it, if you live in an apartment complex. and one other thing, that I'll get to later. Coming from someone who dwells within an apartment. There are exceptions. The main thing is that it comes with keys. These can be copied for your management or your kids. Whichever is needed, and when the power goes out. Also, if you've come across my reviews before, you know that I loves me some easy installs. And this one makes me feel like a professional. As long as you know your own WIFI password, you're off to the races. It's boxed with everything you'll need, outside of the one screwdriver that you'll definitely need. You don't have to drill any extra holes, unless you have a rare occasion, where your deadbolt is a bit off. It'll still fit. It just requires some minor adjustments, which the instructions will walk you right through. The battery is huge and long-lasting. This is where I have my other problem. There's no charging cable to charge your battery. Yes it's pretty charged, right out of the box, but once it's depleted, you'll need to make sure that you've got USB-C cable laying around. However, in the extreme case that you don't have a key on you, and the power's out, there's actually an emergency type C cable to plug into your power bank to access your dwelling. So, go add a power bank to your shopping cart now. The palm reader is super cool and you can also assign users and safety parameters for when people are supposed to be home and they for some reason, don't show up on time( And where have you been, between the hours of "ya should've been here" and "Oh my goodness, you're late"?). The app keeps track of al of that. The screen is motion sensitive, so when you get close to it, the screen will come on. Not to mention, it works with Alexa and Google Smart Home. Finally, I'm just gonna say that I love that hide-away key hole. Enjoy your new lock.

I've had the DESLOC K140 Plus on my front door for several days now, replacing a regular keyed deadbolt. The palm vein reader is what got my attention. You hold your hand in front of the lock and it reads the veins under your skin instead of your fingerprint. I have a big family, so I also wanted to see how easy it would be to get everyone access and most importantly, get them in the door. I'll say one thing that I love about this deadbolt is I never have to worry about us keeping the door locked. In the past, with a regular deadbolt, I was always double-checking the front door lock, and now I have it set on automatic lock once it senses the door closing. I finally have peace of mind knowing that I have a smart security lock. - Design/Build/Unboxing - Everything in the box is clearly labeled. The screws are separated and marked with letters, and there's even a few spare parts. The printed manual is well written and easy to follow. DESLOC has how-to videos too, but the only one I actually needed to watch was for setting up the palm reader. Everything else was a breeze with the paper instructions. Build quality is about average, but for the price I believe it's above average. It certainly doesn't feel cheap, but it's not necessarily premium. I'd like to see slightly nicer materials, but I have no complaints about how it's put together. The keypad also stays dark until it senses motion, but this can be customized too. The door sensor comes in a box, which you will want for the induction lock. I charged the battery overnight before installing. Install was extremely easy. Getting my old deadbolt and lock off took me about 5 minutes, and the only tool I needed was an electric screwdriver. You can certainly use a manual one too. I used all the parts that came with the K140 Plus to make sure that everything fit correctly. The new strike plate is taller and skinnier than the one I took off my door so I figured I would have to make some adjustments, but everything fit perfectly. The skinnier strike plate also gave me more room to fit the door sensor right beside it, so that I could use the induction lock method. - Specs & Features - You can unlock with your palm, an access code, the DESLOC app, or the backup key (comes with 2 keys.) It has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth built in and your palm data stays with the lock and not in the cloud. It has a 10,000 mAh rechargeable battery that DESLOC rates at up to 9 months. Mine has been sitting at 100% for several days so the battery drain is very slow. We'll have to see if it can last 9 months, but if it ever dies on you, there's a USB-C port on the bottom of the outside unit for emergency power (you can use a power bank) and you also have keys if needed. - Software - This app is impressive, it's well designed, intuitive, and it's got a ton of features. The first thing I did when I opened it up is I paired over Bluetooth, then setup my Wi-Fi. My router uses one network name for 2.4 and 5GHz, and it still connected quickly. There was a firmware update right away, with a progress bar from 0 to 100%. The download took about 45 seconds, and the install about 15 seconds. Calibration was quick too. Auto-lock can be set up to 120 seconds, or you can use induction lock with the door sensor, and there's a quick toggle to turn auto-lock on and off. There's an anti-peeping password and also anti-hijacking that will notify everyone with access and also send an email to the emergency contact. You can get a door-ajar alert that you can set from 10 to 30 seconds. There's even a setting if you have a single or a double door (storm/screen door.) Notifications covers locks and unlocks (who accessed it), plus alarms for wrong code attempts and latch problems. One nice support feature is a diagnosis log where you can describe a problem and upload logs straight to support. There's also a special care mode for kids or anyone you want to get home on time, and it will send you a reminder if they don't arrive on time (perfect for teenagers or loved ones.) There's also a vacation mode where you can setup for Always users and one-pass users to unlock the door. Every unlock in this mode will be an alarm event so you can monitor from afar. There's a rest mode that will lower the volume and limit push notifications (except for serious events) if you're resting or sleeping, or just don't want to be bothered. Sharing is easy. I setup my wife as a general user (you can also setup as admin), she downloaded the app and she has access to features within the app such as slide to unlock. The event log shows locks, unlocks, and alerts like "door not properly closed", "unlocked manually", or unlocked by (person's name), or latch jammed. With a house full of family I like having access to the log file. - Pros/Cons - * Pros * * Easy to install, only need a screwdriver * Great printed instructions * App is excellent and covers every feature you might need * A lot of ways to get in (Palm, Code, Keys, App) * Removable rechargeable battery and Emergency USB-C cable built-in * Consistently reads our palms accurately for entry * Needs Improvement * * I would like some premium material options * There's a slight learning curve to the palm reader (distance, position, timing) The DESLOC K140 Plus just works. It was one of the easiest locks I've installed, and the app is full of options without being overly complex. It will fit any size family or individual living alone, but it works great for my busy family. I feel like DESLOC has really thought out every scenario and feature. This is well designed and well executed. I highly recommend it to anyone.

I had been using a battery powered smart lock for several years, and it was still working when I replaced it with this Desloc. I was attracted to the features of this model by the four unlocking options available (palm recognition, phone app, passcode and key), but the main attraction for me was the 10,000 mAh rechargeable lithium battery and advertised 9-month long battery life. I was tired of constantly having to change the batteries on my old lock, and sometimes forgetting to do so, losing the smart lock features altogether. The K140 Plus also offers a door sensor that monitors whether the door is fully closed. If it is fully closed, you can set up the lock to automatically throw the deadbolt after a certain period of time. I have grown to appreciate that feature while testing this smart lock. Previously, I always manually opened the deadbolt. This meant that if I closed the door and forgot about the deadbolt and walked away, I would be leaving the door unlocked. I can’t remember that ever happening before, but now, several seconds after I have shut the door, the Desloc automatically throws deadbolt closed, even if I have done nothing but shut the door. There is a door sensor you install with this package that prevents the lock from automatically throwing if the door is not fully closed. This allows you to keep the door open for an indefinite period for unloading or entry of multiple people without the lock automatically engaging. My door is surrounded by crown molding, so I was not able to install the sensor exactly even with the edge of the door, as recommended. I got it close enough though for this feature to work, and now I wonder how I ever lived without it. The Desloc fits any standard installation, so it installed in my door without issue. I got everything installed and working, and then removed the battery for charging. I used a standard phone charger with a USB-C cable and got the battery to a 100 per cent charge overnight. You know it is fully charged when the red LED turns green. Whether I’ll get to nine months of operation remains to be seen, but I am sincerely enjoying the prospect of not ever having to deal with conventional, non-rechargeable batteries. I have programmed a code into the smart lock using the Desloc software, and I have also set it up for palm recognition. My wife and I will use the palm recognition and give the code out to others who need to enter while we are gone. The software allows an assignable code with an expiration date for temporary entrance. That is another useful feature that I have never had before and really appreciate. A cover slides down if you want to use a conventional key for entrance which I have shown in a picture and hidden underneath the outside panel is another short USB-C cable that allows use of a portable source to get the lock open if the key was unavailable and you forgot to charge the battery in the unit. I very much like this attractive smart lock and its features and have enjoyed using it on my front entrance door. I highly recommend it.

The DESLOC - K140 Plus Smart Lock is a nicely designed door lock with a 10,000mAh replaceable battery, built-in Wi-Fi and built-in deadbolt. It features Palm Vein Recognition and Auto Lock. The installation was simple and straight forward. The only issues I had were that the supplied strike was too large to replace my existing strike so I had to keep the old one and the door sensor that is suppose to mount on the door frame would not fit due to the bevel on the molding on my door frame. After installation, the bolt worked smoothly and quietly. The inside part of the lock is quite a bit larger than my old one, though, but it is a nice looking enough. The WiFi connectivity worked fine to connect to my WiFi. The palm vein recognition set up did not work easily at first. I had to make multiple attempts to get it set up for my one hand but then the other it seemed to work better. I did like that you could associate user names with the palm vein settings so you could tell who unlocked it with their palm. When testing the lock and unlock settings, I found that locking was not as easy when leaving due to the lock not waking up quickly so you could hold down on the check mark for locking. Also, when unlocking, the palm vein unlock requires you to press on the keypad sometimes to wake it up first since the radar does not seem to wake it up. The keypad unlock worked fine once it was woke up. The timed auto lock feature worked fine but I didn’t keep it on due to the door being used so much on our deck. I was disappointed that there is not a location based (geofenced) auto lock feature which I had on my previous lock so it locks as I drive away in case it was not not already locked. I like the rechargeable battery which seems to have great battery life. My old lock took AA batteries and ate them like a snack all the time. Overall this is a pretty nice lock with unique features.

I’ve had this smart lock installed for a few days now and so far I’m very impressed. The lock was very well packaged and the instruction manual was excellent. Everything was clearly explained with good descriptions and pictures which made the installation very simple and straightforward. There’s also a QR code that takes you to even more detailed instructions and helpful how-to videos covering installation and the different features. The lock has a fairly large lithium-ion battery. It took several hours to fully charge initially, but I’m hoping the combination of the large battery and lithium-ion technology will mean a long time between charges. I haven’t had it long enough to really test battery life yet. After installation I downloaded the app, created an account and password, and set up the palm recognition. The palm scanner works extremely well. In fact, it’s much more reliable than a fingerprint scanner lock from another company that I previously used. Both of my palms are recognized quickly and consistently and so far it has worked flawlessly. The app also has a lot of useful features. You can lock and unlock the door remotely, create individual codes for guests or people who may need access to your home such as a house cleaner, and set up things like auto-lock and door-ajar alerts. It also keeps a log of lock and unlock activity, so you can see who accessed the door and when. The app also shows the battery level. One thing I’ll be watching closely is battery life in cold weather. My property is at about 10,000 feet above sea level and our winters can get very cold. Since I’ve only had the lock installed for a few days I can’t say yet how well the battery will hold up or how it will perform in extreme cold. Time will tell. But so far, everything has worked exactly as it should. Installation was easy, the instructions were excellent, the app is useful, and the palm recognition is fantastic. Highly recommended, 5 stars!

This lock is so easy to install, with clear instructions and quality components, It took me less than 30 minutes. I love the sleek look of the lock on my door. It is so easy to program and it reads quickly and consistently. Now we don’t have to worry about anyone being locked out and if one of the kids forget to lock the door it automatically locks in 90 seconds.

The Desloc K140 Plus is a compelling upgrade for anyone looking to replace an existing deadbolt with a modern smart lock. I’ve used several Wi Fi and Bluetooth enabled locks over the years, including models with basic PIN keypads and even the Lockly unit with a fingerprint reader and built in camera. Unfortunately, the Lockly’s camera never lived up to expectations — laggy video, slow event playback, and inconsistent fingerprint recognition — which ultimately pushed me toward the Desloc. The K140 Plus includes the usual smart lock essentials: Wi Fi connectivity, full app integration, and a backlit keypad that activates as you approach. But its standout feature is something I hadn’t seen before: palm vein biometrics. The lock scans the unique vein pattern in your hand to authenticate users. I jokingly call it the Vampire Lock (search YouTube for “webhype” to see my review). According to Desloc, vein patterns are as unique as fingerprints and offer a false recognition rate of less than one in a million. It can’t be fooled by photos, fake hands, or phone screens. Installation took about 15 minutes and included everything needed: the deadbolt mechanism (with adjustable sizing), strike plate, reinforcement block, and screws. As a replacement deadbolt, it was straightforward. My only complaint was the small printed installation guide — I had to rely on Desloc’s online videos for clarity on a couple of steps. The exterior portion houses the keypad, palm reader, and physical key slot, which is a welcome backup. Inside, you’ll find a simple manual lever and a rechargeable 10,000 mAh USB C battery. The battery arrived at only 9% charge, so I postponed the firmware update. The app didn’t offer a cancel or delay option, so I had to force close it and charge the battery overnight using a standard 5V/2A charger. Once fully charged, I set up my palm profile. The app requires a Desloc account and allows multiple users, each with several palm scans and a 6–8 digit PIN (I’d prefer a 4 digit option). The palm enrollment process took patience — a few attempts failed — but the app provides guidance and the lock offers voice feedback. After the initial scan, you can label each palm (left or right), depending on your door orientation and preference. The app includes all the expected features: event logs, notifications, auto lock settings, vacation mode (heightened alerts), rest mode (reduced audible feedback), and timed auto lock options to avoid locking the door while carrying groceries. The lock also supports Alexa and Google Assistant. A USB C emergency port allows temporary power from a phone or power bank if the battery ever dies. Overall, the Desloc K140 Plus has proven to be a reliable and well designed smart lock. Once palm profiles are enrolled, everyday unlocking is fast and extremely consistent. The app offers robust configuration options, user management, and detailed logging. It’s a strong choice for anyone wanting a biometric forward smart lock without cloud stored credentials. >>> PROS >> easy installation >> firmware and app updates >> high capacity Lithium Ion rechargeable battery >> myriad of configuration, notification and logging options >> physical keys >> backlit keypad >> IP65 rated to handle outdoor conditions such as rain, dust and temperature variations <<< CONS << not many, perhaps an inclusion of a four digit PIN option

This is my first experience with an electronic lock, so I don’t really have any other models to compare it to, so keep this in mind. The device was well packaged, and everything was in its own box. Once you open up the boxes, you find that the parts (screws, etc.) are all bagged neatly and labeled with the contents, and the hardware for each step is bagged together. Is is a VERY nice touch, and makes it easier to find everything. It was a bit fiddly to install, with a lot of steps, but not too bad if you go slow and carefully follow the directions. Note that this does NOT require putting extra screw holes in your door, so it can be easily removed later if you desire, with no permanent damage to the door. The only exception is that a screw is recommended if your door is warped enough that the interior top is not touching the door itself, but it was not needed in my case. The unit is actually held upright by rubber on the inside of the lock itself, along with some double-sided tape at the top of both parts (interior and exterior) of the unit itself. I did actually manage to lose a screw, but they even included a bag spare screws: one of each type. That is certainly a welcome addition! The only thing that feels a bit off is that there is a magnet that you have to attach to the door frame so that the lock can tell when the door is open or closed. This magnet can either screw on or use double-sided tape, However, my door has molding around the door frame, so this magnet was not able to be mounted in such a way that it looks good. And to detect the magnet, there is a sensor arm that needs to be pulled out, which looks a bit strange. Still, it works. Setting things up requires the phone app (Android, in my case). It was easy to pair and set up, and it can only connect to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network. There is one “owner” and you can add multiple users, each with their own pass code and optionally, up to two palm prints. Users can get all-time access, set a schedule, or allow one-time access. Additionally, you can get alerted on your phone app when the lock does anything (very annoying for a large family). Extra security features includes “anti-peeping” which lets you add extra digits before and after to prevent “shoulder surfing.” You can also set up “anti-hijacking” intended for use when you are being forced to open the door and this sends an alert email to an emergency contact. You can also designate a “special care” user that alerts you if they don’t return on time. Closing the lock simply requires pressing the green button. To open the lock, you can put your palm up, or you can enter in your code and press the green button. I found that the palm recognition works reasonably well, even if it takes a couple of seconds. This can be useful if you have a handful of groceries. Overall, this is a great addition to my house. My kids generally don’t like carrying or using keys, so this makes it easier for them to use the front door instead of the garage door.

This Desloc K Series Palm Vein Smart Lock is very well made and came very well packed. It's constructed of metal and of course with some plastic like the battery cover. Inside the box, you will find a quick-start guide, detailed instructions, and measurements for installing the smart lock on either a brand-new door or replacing an existing door lock. I followed the easy-to-understand instructions and was able to successfully install the lock. The first thing I recommend doing is charging the battery before using it. Once the lock is installed and powered on, it provides audible voice prompts instructing you to download the Desloc app, which is available on both the Android and Apple app stores. After installing the app, you will need to create an account. The smart lock then performs a brief firmware update before you can proceed with the setup. The app walks you through the process of creating a passcode for the lock. Unlike other smart locks I have used in the past, this one requires a passcode of 6–8 digits, compared to the four-digit codes I am accustomed to using. This provides a longer code to remember, but it is something to keep in mind during setup. Once the passcode is set, you have the option to register your palm to unlock the door. You can use either your right or left hand. Registering my palm was surprisingly easy and only required one attempt. With fingerprint sensors, I usually have to scan my finger two or three times before it is successfully registered, so I was impressed with how quickly the palm recognition setup was completed. Once registered, the lock is ready to use. My initial experience with palm recognition was not perfect. The lock did not always respond immediately when I placed my palm in front of the sensor. You need to make sure the backlight is activated and position your palm at the correct angle, which took me a couple of tries to get used to. However, after the first day of use, I noticed that the lock seemed more responsive and was unlocking faster. It still requires some attention to hand positioning, but the overall experience improved with continued use. I also registered my children's palms, and the lock was able to recognize them as well. Another useful feature is the automatic locking function, which allows you to program the lock to secure the door after a specified amount of time. You can also install the included door sensor and configure the lock to automatically lock once the sensor detects that the door is closed. This is a convenient option for anyone who wants additional peace of mind without having to remember to lock the door manually. Overall, the Desloc K Series functions much like other smart locks, offering convenient access and automatic locking features. However, its main selling point is the palm vein recognition technology, which provides a unique alternative to traditional passcodes, fingerprints, and keys. I like having this additional unlocking option, although the palm sensor can occasionally be a little finicky and may not recognize your hand immediately. While the palm recognition may take a little time to get used to, having multiple ways to access your home makes this a convenient and worthwhile smart lock to consider.

I swapped out an ordinary deadbolt for this one, and the install was the easy part. Old one out, new one in. All you need is a screwdriver. The palm reader is the reason to buy this lock. Recognition is faster than a fingerprint reader. And it doesn't care about conditions. Bright or dim, hot or cold, it works in all of them. For a lock that sits outside all year, that's critical. The keypad light gives significant feedback. It has to “wake up” to read palms, and also shows when the deadbolt is opened or locked. Then there are the codes. Up to 100 of them. Temporary codes. One-time codes. Scheduled codes that only work when you say so, only on Thursdays if that's what you need. Each code can also carry multiple biometrics, so the whole household can share a single code if that's simpler than managing several. There's also a scheduled alert. Pick a time, and if a code hasn't been used to unlock the door by then, you get notified. Kid supposed to be home after school? If their code hasn't been used by the time you set, you'll know. The app is easy to use and keeps a good connection. Auto-lock works reliably, ensuring that no one forgets to lock up. Google Home and Alexa are both supported if you want voice-activated unlocking. Optional, not required. Power comes from a rechargeable battery with a claimed nine-month life, and there's a built-in key unlock behind it. I couldn’t confirm the life during the time I had it, but it did require overnight to charge, suggesting a large battery. A week after installing the lock, it still shows 99%. If the battery ever fails, it comes with a key. While the key can be duplicated, the lock cannot be re-keyed to match others in your house. That's the good news. Here's what to know before you buy. None of it cost a star. There's no backup power option while the battery is being charged. DESLOC does include a USB-C port on the bottom for emergency power from a power bank, but it only powers the lock. It won't charge the battery. Charging for a bit once everyone is home will be your best bet.The keypad is touch-sensitive, which may not work with some gloves. If you’re using your palm, that shouldn’t matter much. Bottom Line: If several people use your front door, and some of them are on a schedule you'd like to keep an eye on, this is the lock. The palm reader is fast, the code options are flexible, and the key is there if the battery isn't. If you want the smallest smart lock you can find, or you'll be entering codes with gloves on, there may be better options.

I’ve tried a handful of smart locks over the years, but the DESLOC K140 Plus really stands out. The first thing that grabbed my attention was the huge internal battery. This thing lasts forever. I don’t have to worry about constant recharging or the lock dying at a bad moment. And when it finally does need a boost, you just plug in a regular USB-C cable. No weird proprietary chargers, no hassle. Next-Level Biometric Access The palm-vein recognition is honestly one of the coolest features I’ve ever used on a smart lock. It feels futuristic every time I walk up to the door. It’s accurate and secure, though you do have to hold your hand at the right distance or it might misread. The hidden keypad is a nice touch too - it lights up only when you tap the panel, keeping the whole front clean and modern. The design overall is sleek and premium. I love the hidden key latch underneath for backup access. It’s subtle, secure, and doesn’t ruin the look of the lock. Great App and Smart Features Setup does require a smartphone, but once you’re connected, the app is fantastic. You can create profiles for family members, guests, or anyone who needs access. After connecting it to WiFi, remote control becomes a game changer. Locking or unlocking from anywhere is incredibly convenient - especially when you need to let someone in while you’re away. For frequent travelers or busy households, this feature adds a ton of peace of mind. And it does offer an auto-lock feature as well which you'll either love or hate, but to me, it's a useful feature especially if you often forget to lock up (happens to the best of us). Easy Installation Installation was way easier than I expected. The included video guides walk you through everything step-by-step, so even if you’re not a DIY expert, you can get it mounted and aligned without calling a professional. Final Thoughts If you’re looking to upgrade your home security with something modern, reliable, and packed with smart features, this deadbolt is absolutely worth it. It blends strong hardware with advanced tech in a way that feels both practical and premium. Stylish, secure, and surprisingly easy to use - a fantastic smart home upgrade.

Overall very happy with this after getting it installed and setup. Everything needed for the installation outside of a screwdriver. Installation didn't take very long because I was just replacing an old lock so no need to cut out the holes in my door. First thing I like is the size of the rechargeable battery since my previous smart lock used 8 AA batteries that I needed to change every few months. This one has a large rechargeable battery and can also be charged without removing it if needed in an emergency if you do let it completely die but the app will provide what % the battery is at. I was skeptical at first about the palm reader but it has been working fantastic. It is much easier and faster than using my finger print to unlock as I had with my previous smart lock. Programming it via the app was very easy and had multiple people added and palms scanned into the lock to allow access. It also can be unlocked via a 6 digit code or via the app on your phone. Pros - Works great - Rechargeable battery - Easy installation - Great app for my Android Cons - Read the instructions carefully so you don't miss a step and have to remove and add some screws, print in the manual is a bit small but I could just be getting old Overall this has been the best smart lock I have had and is about my 3rd or 4th one at this point over the last 10 years. I would highly recommend this if you can purchase in this price point.

This DESLOC - K140 Plus Smart Lock with 10,000mAh Battery Wi-Fi Replacement Deadbolt with Palm Vein Recognition and Auto Lock is super easy to install and use. Installing took about 15 mins total including network setup. I already had a smart lock so I just took my old one off and put this one on. It came with all the hardware needed. Software was super simple to use. Download for Play store signed up with account walked through the process step by step and I was in and operational. Use is super easy. User setup palm recognition and all was easy to setup. App was easy to use to customize. Look is nice and sleek. Keypad easy to use. Palm recognition is easy. Battery life is decent. 1 week of constant use and it is down by 1 tick. Ok. So the only complaint I have is that this lock requires a 6 digit PIN... OMG. I can't remember 4 digits. Add 2 more and that is a adds to my forgetting even more. The other default setting I had to change was the auto lock. It wasn't for me. Other than that. Great lock with palm recognition.

Very nice nice smart lock. It feels well built, quality and strong, which is a must for a deadbolt lock. It was very easy to install, at least for me, I have installed deadbolts and other older smart locks and it was not hard to install at all. Just make sure you measure and follow the instructions. When it came to start using it, I noticed that the battery was dead flat, I had to fully charge it to start using it. Once done, I downloaded its app to further setup and configure it. You can open it with your phone, a pin code or using your palm (they also include a set a of keys in case). And here was the biggest issue. No matter what I did, it would not reliable recognize my palms. I have even made sure to enable the proximity detection and disable any power saving features, but it would not still. So, the main palm unlock feature, its un reliable for me. I hope they can release further firmware updates that may improve this feature, as it was the one that I was looking forward to more, as I wanted something that would unlock without me touching it. At least I can still unlock it with my phone to unlock it quick and without touching it!

Very easy to install, and not finicky when reading my palm. Excellent quality, good material. Love the color too, fit any door. No issue with the app too, Very happy with it, highly recommended!
