I am quite pleased with the purchase. I was skeptical at first because I could not get a Nikon battery. This product seems equal to the Nikon battery and actually allowed me to take more captures than the description states.

Nice battery but expensive. We use the new one for a back up. The first one ran out of energy when at an air show, so we bought another one, in case that happened again.

I needed a third battery. I needed it that day. Best Buy pulled thru. This battery outshines my original Nikon batteries, way outshines them in every way. Buy this battery, you will not be making a bad choice. Nope, lay your money down. Your camera will love you.

I bought this extra battery for my nikon D-5100 since my last battery stopped working with my camera ( it was a power2000 for Nikon EN-EL14 - 7.4V 1500mAH); my last one worked fine for about 4 or 5 years and suddenly I got a message on my screen that it was not compatible with my camera. I do have an original Nikon battery that came with the camera but it's great to have a back up; this one has been working just fine.

I bought it because I needed a spare battery pack. The camera would always die before I was finished with my real estate shoots. So I tried to find info on this item: helpful reviews, how long it last, etc. I found nothing. I purchased it anyway because it was available the day I needed it at a Best Buy. I have no complaints, seems to work very well. Battery life seems to be equal or greater to the one that came with my D3300, and it seems to charge a bit quicker too.
