I'll start by saying that I've figured out the solution to the problem I had the first day I played... In version 1 and 2, when I brought up a "New City Toy Box" the game put in enemies; this allowed my GF's kids to play with and against each other. In version 3, the New Toy Box feature did NOT put in enemies. This was pretty bad until I realized that by completing 'adventures' in the Toy Box Hub, the game would start putting enemies into the Hub itself (and possibly now into the new boxes, I haven't gone back to look). Other than that, I have had an issue where the game freezes up for half a second every few seconds; I had to reboot the Xbox completely to resolve that problem. Hopefully they'll patch that issue soon.

I had purchased this game to play with my son. He's 5, and though some of the controls were tough for him to get used to, after practicing for about a week, he was able to get through the platform sections of the game, and better control the head movement, which can be tough for new or little gamers. The vehicle sections were a challenge for my son, especially the pod race and chase scene with Bane. With time he got better, but the chase with Bane frustrated him a bit, as navigating tight corners and avoiding numerous other flying vehicles was necessary. This game can be played as a button masher, so it's good fun for kids when it comes to fighting the enemies. The ability to pick up the other player to get new gamers through tougher sections is nice. I only have three criticisms. First, this game is much too short for the price, in my opinion. I think we beat it in a couple of nights playing for an hour or less at a time. I know you can purchase the power discs, you have the ability to create your own games, play those others have created, and explore the toy box, but I think the main campaign could have been a bit longer and included more worlds and starships. There are also not many side missions. Though the side missions that are available are basic, they are easier for the younger gamer to understand. That being said, re-playability is there and my son liked playing the game multiple times. It was nice that your leveling up remains even when you start over. My second criticism is the load screens. Whether this is the result of the game or the Xbox One's processing ability, the load screens are a bit too long, taking several minutes in certain areas. After downloading the game to the hard drive, I was a bit surprised, given the levels are not that large. Other games like Tomb Raider, Assassins Creed etc., that I am currently running through, have far larger levels with far more detail and take 15-20 seconds, or less, to load after being downloaded. The load screens for these games are also much fewer. Third, there were issues with sound dropping out and off, and at times, never coming back, resulting in a hard reboot by unplugging the stand and plugging it back in. I had read about this online, and I am not sure if a patch to the game was released, but likely that is all that is needed. Graphics were stable, for the most part. The two characters included are well sculpted and detailed. They look like the animated characters from the show. Be careful if you have toddlers and babies that can get to them, the light sabers are easy to break off. Our 1 year old daughter got a hold of the Darth Maul character we purchased, and dropped it on the carpet and one of the blades on the saber-staff snapped. Despite these things the game was enjoyable. It constantly brought smiles to my son's face and he was always excited to play it, which made it even better for me. Otherwise I would have given the game 3 stars.

So far my kids love this game. The Toy Box portion of the game is lots of fun. My son considers it similar to Minecraft. The game itself is lots of fun and easy to learn. Our kids our 5 and 8 and they picked it up pretty easily. We are looking forward to trying other figures.

Much like the previous Disney Infinity games this one is similar to the older versions. Gameplay and Toybox are very similar. I decided to purchase the Xbox one version of this game because the Disney Infinity 2.0 had some stalling issues where the console had a hard time keeping up. I would say this one is better but still suffers slowdowns and stalls. The new characters are fun and will lend themselves to the upcoming Star Wars movie as well as the introduction of the Avengers 2 characters that just came out. Overall the game is good and will keep kids happy playing with their favorite characters in the Toybox feature.

We went from Infinity 1.0 to 3.0 so cannot compare to 2.0, but blows 1.0 out of the water! Not sure if it is better technology or just better stories with the Star War characters. More fun to play with varied missions, and you cannot beat playing as Luke or Rey! Being able to unlock every Star Wars character in each mission even if they don't belong in that story/era is brilliant (and about time!)

I have all three editions of Disney Infinity and they just keep getting better. I purchased them to play with my daughter but love playing them on my own as well. This edition brings several new features, awesome graphics, and a ton of new content that can't be missed. Plus Star Wars....come on you have to get it.

My kid loves this, especially since he can take the characters after the game is off and continue playing them. He loves interchanging the characters and we are always getting him new characters when they go on sale. Being part of the GCU definitely helps when you save the 20% on the sale price.

Infinity 3.0 does not fail to deliver. And all of the Star Wars fans will be thrilled with the ability to play Episode 1 content out of the box. The game occasional freezes on the XBOX ONE, and it is slow to load at times, but that is easily overlooked. Disney makes you want to spend more money with the additional characters that you can buy. The story mode is a little short, but the Toybox play is practically endless. Have Fun!

This is by far the best Disney Infinity. The story is more compelling than before and the toy box is much better than in previous versions. Also, if you don't want to spend hours and hours creating in the toy box, they sell some packages already made for you to just enjoy. The Star Wars play set is very appealing with different type of missions. If you have kids from 5-12, this is the video game for them.

This is by far one of the best Disney infinity games. It has great graphics and really cool effects. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to start playing. There are a few bugs still, hopefully and update will fix that, but even with them it's this a very cool game.

This is the most refined Disney Infinity yet! The fact that it has so much Star Wars is just icing on the cake. Yes, the starter pack has only one main story pack, but it is quite beefy and has a lot of varied activities. My daughter loves the new toy box too!

For the longest time I didn't understand how this Infinity thing worked, and I was buying for my 4 year old son. I'm really happy with this Star Wars starter kit and it's provided many hours of playing time for both of us. He's a Star Wars fanatic right now, but also loves Super Heroes. Disney Infinity works perfect for him as we can switch back and forth between Star Wars maps and characters to Marvel Avengers maps and characters. We can even play Star Wars and Marvel characters together in certain worlds. Definitely has become a great bonding tool as I find myself getting excited with him for new characters coming out.

Have not played this yet. I have heard wonderful things and I cant wait for the kids to open this on Christmas so they(we) can play it. It looks fun and should be easy enough for my 6 year old to play with the older kids.

Very easy to pick up and play! The Star Wars addition is an awesome addition! You can play the entire main story game with just the starter pack, so don't worry about picking up addition unless you want an extra experience. Also, all the other infinity toys works with this game so you and the kids can mash up all kinds of Disney characters!

Disney Infinity 3.0 is the latest installment of Disney's Infinity line. If you played Infinity 2.0, this one is even better. Disney Infinity games can be an expensive habit. You will want the various characters. The characters have different abilities that will make playing certain games easier and more fun if you have lots of characters. Also, there are add on games that are fun. Toybox takeover is one of the new add-ons. This is well worth the $20. In these games you can play as any character. Which means I can play as Rapunzel and my husband can play as Thor in the two player mode. This is the best. I look forward to finishing my mommy chores in the evenings so that I can play this game. But, the kids 11 and 7, both love it too.

The game is a lot of fun, battle with lightsabers and leveling up great. Finished the included pack in about 6 hours. Despite that, well worth the price to see jedi beating down the clone army

I love the inclusion of Star Wars into the Disney Infinity universe!!! The Toy Box Hub is also a great addition to the game. It continues to grow bigger and better as you accomplish more and more feats. Ahsoka and Anakin are great characters to play as. The Twilight of the Republic Play Set is worlds better than the older play sets. One major down side to 3.0 is, like the previous versions the load times are extremely slow and there is a little lag every once in a while. I also have yet to be able to play in an online arcade match, despite trying numerous times. I don't know if the problem is on their end or mine. Great game!!!
