Quentin Tarantino is one of my all time favorties when it comes to movie writers & directors. So Django Unchained was definitely one to add to my steelbook collection.

A really good movie done in a spaghetti western genre. Christopher Waltz gives a coolness to his character that keeps you chuckling while eagerly anticipating what'll happen next. The storyline is far out and loaded with bizarre twists and peculiar intricacies, as viewers would expect from a Quentin Tarantino film. And the gun scenes? They are wild, man! Very enjoyable movie in my opinion.

it's Hard to imagine that it wasn't difficult to act out these role's ! that being said , they were absolutely brilliant . it's a bit gruesome but it add's to the reality and believability of the movie ! Awesome flick Mr. Tarantino .

I only wish that I hadn't waited so long to own my own copy. Jamie and Kerry were outstanding! Though, I'm used to Samuel in action movies... didn't particularly care for his role in this movie.

Funny, well produced entertainment. Jackson, DiCaprio, Washington, and the rest of this cast were almost unrecognizable, but true to their Top Star expectations.

Great story, great acting and amazing actors! Love it, I've watched it over and over.

This was not a movie for the light of heart. This was not a movie for anyone that cannot handle the reality of what life was like during this time period. This movie was excellent. The cinematography was good. The character, cast, pacing was all good to me, but it is a movie that I could only watch once. I find that my stomach does not hold to well to the action and beliefs of time.

Before I talk about the film, ths steelbook design and execution is immaculate. The red and white pop along with a slick photo. As for the film, its typical tarantino, brilliant. Dialogue is superb along with action sequences and violence. Also treads the line of slavery and discrimination quite admirably. Overall 9.5/10 for this steelbook release.

I had a co-worker tell me about this movie, it's pretty good. I wouldn't say it's mind blowing, but it definitely gets you thinking about the past and the horrible way slaves were treated, though that's not the central theme of the movie. This is my kind of hero movie, better than anything marvel or dc puts out.

May 23 2019: Friday: Hello Folks: I just purchased 6 Swann Security Cameras, & Geek Squ. helped set-up two cameras. I was able to hook-up one more camera. They are the very best !!!!! I also am very happy with this dvd. Bs/Ws Chuck.

Tarantino does it again with this first twist on the western. Some scenes are quite brutal in this film and very disturbing but very well acted highly recommended. Long live physical media

Arrived quickly and completed my QT collection. Too bad Best Buy is dropping physical media.

Great movie, awesome cast, I can watch this over and over and it feels like a new movie every time!

Django unchained is a western film about a former slave trying to find his wife with the help of a traveling doctor. Action scenes are great with excellent cinematography, great acting, and great practical effects.

This, Pulp Fiction, and Reservoir Dogs are the best Tarantino has put out. The screen play, the actors, the action of it all. Just master pieces of film cinema. Django Unchained is one of the best of all time movies to me.

With Hollywood recycling scripts over and over,this movie wasn’t much different guy gets his gal but I ‘ve always enjoyed QuentinTarantino dark style of directing.

Great movie with lots of action. The acting is good with a good plot.

has every single element of a perfect Tarantino movie with the added pleasure of being done almost better than he has ever done before. Tarantino manages to get Oscar caliber performances from every major principal in the film, from star Jamie Foxx to a short lived character of Big Daddy played by Don Johnson.

With Dicaprio and Fox as the cast, I expected a great movie. It did not disappoint. It had a unique storyline somewhat different from typical western movies. Overall a great movie.
