This is a really good drone for the price. It has almost everything the Mavic 2 pro has except it has a smaller sensor, less manual camera settings, and no top or side obstacle avoidance. Other than that it is basically equal to the 2 pro in most ways, and better in some as well, like the fact that it’s slightly smaller and can shoot 48 MP photos and record 4K at 60 FPS. This is my third drone, after the phantom 3 advanced and the original Mavic air. Compared to the original Air this one is a large improvement in pretty much every way, other than that it is larger. The active track is much better, although I have not used it much. The range and battery life are the most noticeable improvements, although you will never get the advertised 34 minutes of flight time. My longest flight was 22 minutes, and it still had 20 percent battery left. Range is also a massive improvement, with the original Air you could loose connection at about 1000 ft away if there was any interference, and mine sometimes dropped the signal immediately after starting a quickshot or active track, which was really inconvenient. With the new Ocusync 2.0 I flew the new one two and a half miles away and had no lag or weak signal warnings. The ADS-B/ Airsense system is also nice, however I have not seen a warning from it since I don’t fly near other aircraft. The new controller is great too, it feels a bit like the phantom controller but smaller, and I really like not having to take my phone out of its case every time I fly. Also, another good feature is that the live feed video streams in 1080P, which is nice. There are some cons for this drone though. First, it is larger than the original and doesn’t come with a case, so if you want to put it in a small backpack it can be inconvenient at times. Second, photos don’t cache to your phone, so you have to download them and you can only do that if the aircraft is connected. There are a few other very minor issues that I have with the app, but overall it is a great drone for the price and probably worth the upgrade from an older Mavic or phantom.

DJI has long had a sizable market share for consumer drones, and its newest drone in spring 2020 solidified that. The DJI Inspire 2 works wonderfully, from the photo and video quality to the ease of use flying and setting up. It is small and compact, yet is reliable and has good steering/flying. The price is very good for the quality, so if you are looking for a drone in summer 2020 and have the budget for something like this (as opposed to a budget FPV drone or something), this would be the one to get. This drone is light weight compared to DJI bigger drones and so far is has taken great photos and videos. The app takes so learning but the aircraft warning is a nice feature. The downside is that it's a smaller drone and is easy to loose sight of, but with a good size cell phone or tablet you can see where it's going.

I'm a photographer by hobby and wanted to get into Real Estate photography and to up my photography game in general. Spent weeks researching different brands and models and ended up deciding on this one. Could not be anymore happy I pulled the trigger and bought the DJI Mavic Air 2, it's a truly rock solid drone with so many capabilities. It's light weight, well built, battery life is excellent at 30-34 min, camera and video quality are fantastic. I have no cons to list about this Drone.

This drone does about everything you would want it to. A little high on price, but Quality is good, range is good. And has so many functions and features. Only complaint with this is the battery life. It is okay, but for anyone trying to record a decent amount of footage, 1 battery will not be enough. Overall great drone, would buy again.

This Mavic Air 2 is fantastic. Hands down, super impressed. The camera is amazing, the handling is amazing. All of the different options for the drone are awesome. It's pretty much a flying dslr. Super impressed overall.

This is one of the best drones I’ve purchased. Although expensive the quality, features, customer support makes up for that. I use to have a Ruko drone ($299) and I was scared to take that above 80 ft and then had issues with it. Then I got this drone and I was confident and just felt able to take it higher without stress. I took it up to 400ft which is the photo (wish I could add a video) I have uploaded at the beach. Wind resistance is great. It handled well with beach winds which were about 15mph gusts that day. IMPORTANT- When you activate the drone on the app you have a option to use DJI warranty which is I think ($15-$50) I don’t remember but you have 2 replacements for a year and one flyaway replacement which you do need to pay a certain price to replace. For example if you crash your drone and it breaks. You contact DJI Covered Parts List: aircraft × 1, gimbal × 1, camera × 1, propellers (pair) × 2, and battery × 1 . Replacements drone costs 1st crash $69 2nd crash $99 (you must send the damaged drone to them) Flyaway coverage is (drone is stolen, malfunctions/flys away and crashes into lets say the ocean and can’t retrieve it) It is $399 and they disable the other drone so it can’t be used. I am using DJI warranty. Think about it I could be wrong but I don’t think Best Buy covers stolen or missing drones that flyaway. You won’t be disappointed in this drone. When I have more photos I’ll gladly update and add them.

This drone is the best drone for a beginner as well as someone that's been around drones for a while, you are getting a well built machine with great flying time with a great camera. I would recommend this drone to anyone.

The product worked flawlessly, although detailed instructions were a little thin, something that seems common with a lot of products recently. Great photos and video in daylight, but video in low lighting isn't the best. The Air 2s and Mavic 3 will do better in that regard, but you'll pay a lot more for that too. Curbside service was quick and efficient.

To start with, this drone is worth every single penny of the asking price. It is a great beginner drone that really is amazing. I had the OG Mavic Air for about 9 months. It was one of the best tech items I have ever purchased. I flew over 60 miles in the time I owned it. There were some Cons to the first Mavic Air that I was really hoping they would fix with the second generation. I am so impressed with the leap forward that DJI has made with the Mavic Air 2. My Favorite Features on new Mavic Air 2 * Much quieter in normal use * battery life is AMAZING averaged 29 mins * Quickshots are much easier to use * Normal flying mode is 5-6 mph faster then previous generation * Controller is a big step up (usb C charging) CONS: * more difficult to switch between video and photo mode * batteries cost more * app doesn't show bar for battery life (this might be a setting I haven't found yet) In closing this is a great drone for anyone. I think DJI has a real winner on their hands that will continue to sell like hot cakes.

Great drone for beginners or someone wanting an upgrade.

I turn off the safety brake… probably a bad idea as I crash a lot. But it gives you more flying freedom, and Thankfully DJI takes a beating, but does NOT break easily at all. I’ve purchased at least 7 DJI drones and don’t think I’ll ever get another brand.

Amazing drone! This is my first one, and it develops awesome 4k footage for my video production work. It's high quality enough to produce great footage but affordable and small enough to not be something overwhelming or hard to use. Love that my phone is used as the monitor on the remote control. It also has a feature to charge your phone while it's plugged in - LOVE that. The battery does not last super long, which is unfortunate. I delayed it for a while but finally bought a second battery (they're $112, so I procrastinated..) Wish it wasn't so pricey, but in the video world, we gotta have extra batteries.. Having 2 batteries has been enough for what I need thus far.

I bought three drones before I bought this one. I thought $400, $500 even $600 would be enough - well, those are terrible. So I went for it and bought this DJI drone - it is like night and day from the other ones - a truly amazing piece of technology and good for so many applications! Software is amazing, it is sturdy, it is quiet, has great features and it is surprisingly easy to fly! I absolutely love it! Make sure you buy that package that comes with the extra batteries and charger - their 30 minute battery time is actually around 18 minutes. Which is great, but not enough to stay out long.

The DJI Air 2 is a great UAS at a very good price point. It is missing some of the sensors that its big brothers have, but for the price it is all that one could expect. The camera is extremely good and the responsiveness of the drone is great.... The newer controller seems to fit well and connect easily.

Pros: Excellent photo & video quality, easy to operate after all the parts are assembled, fly more combo comes with extra batteries that helps to fly longer duration, collision sensors give you extra peace of mind Cons: Too many small parts that need to be assembled before flying it, it takes like 5-10mins to assemble all the parts, it takes similar amount of time to dissemble those parts to put the drone back to the travel bag, pricey, does not come with car charger

I had other DJI drones before like the Spark and the Mavic Air but this one is s step above all of those other drones. It's so much quieter then the others and flies great with excellent video and photo quality. It's perfect to use when doing HDR bracketed exposures. I import the DNG raw files it takes into Aurora HDR 2019 to merge them. Then I use Luminar 4 to finish them up for digital masterpieces. When Luminar AI comes out I will be using that to make spectacular images.
