We purchased the DJI Mic 3 for our ministry trip to Africa, and it exceeded our expectations. The sound quality was excellent, the setup was reliable, and the entire system is very compact — which made it perfect for travel and on-the-go recording. It performed beautifully during teachings, interviews, and live ministry moments. Battery life was strong, the connection was stable, and it was easy to use once we got familiar with it. There is a small learning curve at first, so I recommend watching a few YouTube tutorials to get up to speed — it definitely helps shorten the adjustment time. Overall, this has been a fantastic investment for content creators, videographers, and ministry teams. Highly recommend!

I’ve used a lot of microphones for various YouTube related videos and until now I’ve always had to use a wired Lavalier mic, as so many of the transmitters are distracting, huge and heavy and weigh the shirt down. These however are small and lightweight and sound incredible. Big-time upgrade from the mic 2. To further reduce distractions I added a small square of black gaff tape to cover up the logo. I’ve been extremely happy with these microphones.

The batteries last an insanely long time, the mic quality is great, and the options will grow with you. Timecode, 32 bit float, their tiny size, are all huge plusses. They work even in 20*f, I had them recording for nearly 4 hours straight with zero issues. One of my interview subjects dropped their mic into snow, picked it up, and kept using it with zero issues. Two minor drawbacks: No 3.5mm like the prior model had So many features means you'll want to do setup via the mimo app, not the tiny OLED on the RX module. The mics connect seamlessly, i use it to record videos with the audio directly on my phone to the mics. clips are quality material and stick to clothes

These mics have been an awesome upgrade for running my YouTube and social media channels. I originally had the smaller version, but my dog, Bacon, got ahold of them while they were charging and completely destroyed them (photos included!). Honestly, I can't even be upset with him—I should have kept them out of reach. That being said, I'm glad I upgraded. The new hardcase is fantastic, especially with the built-in battery pack for charging on the go, and the system is noticeably easier to update. Highly recommend!

I’m apart of a very new YouTube Podcast, Joy & Wyoming Podcast, and it really step the audio game up. I used to have to add subtitles to the Shorts clips I would create because something’s would be inaudible.

The DJI Mic 3 has quickly become one of my favorite pieces of gear. I do a mix of sports videography, interviews, podcasts, and other content creation, so I need an audio system that is reliable, easy to set up, and gives me enough flexibility to handle different shooting environments. The Mic 3 delivers on all of those things. The audio quality is excellent. Voices come through clean, natural, and detailed without requiring a ton of work in post. The Adaptive Gain Control is also extremely useful when recording situations where the volume can change quickly. I can spend more time concentrating on the camera and the shot instead of constantly worrying about whether my audio is clipping. One of the biggest reasons I chose the Mic 3 is 32-bit float internal recording. Having a high-quality recording directly on the transmitter gives me an additional level of protection if something happens to the wireless signal or if my camera levels aren't perfect. For paid work, having that backup recording alone gives me a lot more confidence. The addition of timecode is another huge feature for me. When you're working with multiple cameras, syncing everything in post can become tedious very quickly. Having timecode built into such a small wireless microphone system makes the Mic 3 much more than just a convenient wireless lav system—it can actually become part of a more professional multicamera workflow. I also really appreciate how small and lightweight the transmitters are. They're much less distracting on camera than larger wireless microphones, and the magnetic mounting system makes positioning them incredibly easy. The charging case is well designed and makes it simple to keep everything together, charged, and ready to go. Battery life has been great, and the quick charging is a feature you don't realize how valuable it is until you're shooting all day. Being able to get a significant amount of additional runtime from just a few minutes of charging can save a shoot. The Mic 3 also gives you a surprising amount of room to grow. The ability to work with multiple transmitters and receivers, along with four-channel recording in compatible setups, makes this a system I can use for everything from a simple one-person shoot to interviews, podcasts, and larger productions. DJI also packed in features such as noise cancellation, different voice tone settings, lossless audio transmission, and direct connectivity with compatible devices. You can keep things simple and essentially use it right out of the box, or dig into the settings and have considerably more control. Most importantly, the DJI Mic 3 allows me to focus on creating instead of worrying about audio. That's probably the best compliment I can give any piece of production equipment. It is compact enough that I don't hesitate to bring it with me, simple enough to deploy quickly, but powerful enough that I feel comfortable using it for professional work.

Quality - Excellent quality all around, the case the pieces, the design of many ways to attach, and the feeling and presentation like an apple product is just great. Setup - Setup has a learning curve if you wanna go advanced. If you wanna just pop this out and use it right away the basic 10 min intro video is enough to get started right away. If you want to access things like gain, the two different types of noise cancelling, or even sync timecodes you can go further and get really micro with how this works. Function - Works perfectly so far. I've yet to run into issues I've seen other reviewers describe and the limitations of this microphone is all out there in the open so it isn't like something you can't do was hidden. The display is cripsy, the menu not as responsive as I would like but at times it becomes evident this is a feature as I've pressed selections by accident just clipping it to a jacket. Weight - weighs about 230g with the two mics, receiver, and charging case. Overall a excellent value for the quality and features that this microphone kit provides. Highly recommended!

I chose DJI because I wanted a wireless microphone that would work smoothly with my Pocket 3. The connection is quick and reliable, and the audio sounds clear and detailed. ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4.5/5) I've been really impressed with the DJI Mic 3. The audio quality is excellent, setup is quick, and the wireless connection has been reliable every time I've used it. The transmitters are lightweight, the battery life is great, and the overall build quality feels premium. It's become my go-to microphone for filming. The only reason I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is because there's no official IPX water-resistance rating. For a microphone that's likely to be used outdoors, it would have been nice to have some protection against rain or sweat. Other than that, it's an outstanding product that I would definitely recommend.
