My much larger drone just banked right one day, right into a tree and destroyed some of the blades. So I bought extra. When I got the NEO, I figured I'd buy an extra set for it as well. Many crashed later, my props are still in great shape due to the design. The blades are enclosed, and caged. The drone is super light, They're nice to have in my pack out, and if I ever do need them, I'll be glad I have them. The NEO is pretty indestructible.

I would say yes, good product but not really necessary unless you abuse your drone. Had mine for couple months and crashed it plenty of times. Neo is enclosed drone and well protected. Comes with 2 spare props but I'm still on my original ones
