Q: Does this purchase require you to install an app and pay a fee for the service?
A: This gimbal works with all cell phones that fit in the magnetic holder without the need for the DJI app. Just put in your phone and turn it on then use your camera app. The DJI app that adds extra features and automation like zoom and follow will work with most phones and lets you register the gimbal and buy the $16 3 year warranty but not required. I use it without the app unless I need it to follow a person or take special photos.
Q: Can you mount this to a tripod
A: It comes with a tripod that screws to the base or you can screw it into a standard cold shoe type tripod or accessory arm.
Q: Will this work with the IPhone 13 pro max?
A: Totally! You can join it in your Iphone 13 Pro Max!
Q: Will this work with a Galaxy S10e?
A: Dear customer, Hi, thank you for reaching out and we do apologize for the inconvenience caused. As of the moment, the Samsung S10e is not yet optimized with the DJI Mimo application. It may work however, we cannot guarantee the stability of the application on the said mobile device since it is not fully tested and not yet optimized with the application. I will highly recommend you using a recommended mobile device to avoid any issues and problems. Please note that support for additional devices available as testing and development continues. Q: Will this work with the go pro 8?
A: I dont recommend using a GoPro for video with this gimbal unless you have hypersmooth on. GoPro cameras dont balance well and give bouncy video with the gimbal always having to correct its position. Plus you have to hold the gimbal backwards because the screen is mounted against the holder facing the camera towards you. There is a phone shaped GoPro case adapter on Ebay that is supposed to help balance and place the GoPro above the gimbal holder so you can hold it like normal but I havent bought one yet.

Q: Will this work on iPhone 11
A: Yes. The app works with this phone as does the holder for the phone.
Q: Is this compatible with iPhone 14plus

When used with DJI Mimo, unknown issues may occur, such as freezing, crashing, and recording errors, which will affect your user experience. As your mobile phone’s dimensions and weight meet the gimbal’s hardware requirements, you can connect your mobile phone to a DJI device’s Bluetooth, and then use the mobile phone camera or a third-party camera app for gimbal stabilization when recording.
