Great action camera. The 4K quality looks sharp even in low light, and the stabilization is super smooth. Battery life is solid and it doesn’t overheat like others I’ve tried. I also like the front screen for vlogging and that it’s waterproof without a case.

the action 6 is amazing! the quality of the camera is great and its very easy to use. its been my favorite video camera since i bought it and i take this everywhere with me, my favorite favorite features are the front cam, shooting in D-Log, and the custom aspect ratio where i can make videos in both horizontal and vertical.

Excellent quality images water proof flexible use case

The first thing I noticed was the weight and build quality. This thing is a little brick and built tough. It’s awesome. The image quality, especially the brightness and a color, are great. The slowmo is outstanding. I highly recommend.

Good quality, works perfectly. Using the 1 inch sensor to make videos for YouTube and instagram all at once has been very convenient and takes a lot of thinking out of creating content. Highly recommend!

After using the GoPro Hero 8 black for the past 7 yrs, I’m very happy with my upgrade to the DJI Osmo Action 6. After using it a few hours it tops any GoPro on the market at this time. It’s easy to change out the batteries the magnetic clip is a big plus no more dealing with tightening screws like the old days. Picture quality is amazing the bigger screen makes it easier to make adjustments when needed. I purchased the action 6 on May 23, 2026 and shortly bought another one on June 3,2026 that’s how great of a camera it is. Finally upgraded both of my old GoPros. I have no regrets with my purchase

I love this camera! The shooting range of 1:1 ratio which allows to upload horizontal and vertical based on your needs was the main reason i got it. Overall, quality is great!

I use this as my main camera for travel and outdoor content, and the Action 6 has been excellent. Low-light footage is noticeably cleaner than previous generations, and the stabilization is smooth enough that I barely touch my gimbal anymore. The Adventure Combo is the way to go — the two extra batteries plus the charging case easily get me through a full day of shooting off-grid, and the mini extension rod doubles as a grip and a tripod. It’s rugged, waterproof out of the box, and the front screen makes framing selfie shots effortless. Highly recommend for anyone filming outdoors.

I hate to leave a bad review for what is a decent and feature-rich camera but I unfortunately discovered that it has one fatal --- and unforgivable --- flaw. I took my brand new DJI Osmo Action 6 on a 5-day snorkeling expedition. The first two days were perfect --- the water was clear and I got some great footage. After two days, I used the USB port on the camera to download my video to my laptop. The next day, I dove in with my camera and noticed the screen was blank and wouldn't turn on. I discovered that I hadn't fully closed the door on the USB port and the camera was flooded with salt water. The result was immediate and catastrophic --- the salt water short-circuited and irreversibly damaged the electronic circuits, even though I went back to the boat and immediately flushed and soaked the camera in fresh water. It's dead. Shame on me for not checking that the door was fully closed but I can see no reason or excuse for DJI to make a camera for underwater use without isolating the battery and USB port compartments from the rest of the circuitry. Opening one door should not have allowed water intrusion into the entire camera. A waterproof seal around the two openings or an epoxy coating over the circuit board wouldn't be too much to expect and would have prevented. Under most circumstances, I would recommend the camera but this was an expensive failure in my case. One caused by a company that took one step too few in order to save expense. I won't be replacing this with another DJI.
