I purchased this drone after getting The Mavic 2 pro and being unimpressed with the camera. After returning The Mavic which I have to say I did like because of portability, I got the phantom pro v2 I was super excited because I saw really almost no differed between the 2. Anyways so after getting home and updating the drone charging the batteries I went out to fly it. Immediately I knew something was wrong, the drone started to wobble and drift away in its own. After getting it back to land I took it back inside and reset it to factory settings and reinstalled the software using DJI Assiant 2 for phantom. Took it back out to fly and the wobble seemed to have gone which I was happy about but the drifting was still happing. I had great connection nothing was wrong but it kept drifting I was worried about this. Next thing I get is a compass error and so I go to try to calibrate and then it bakes everything is good which was strange, I kept getting compass error issues and the drifting, after looking around I found others with the same issue. Later on after landing it I took it back out and decided to fly it and sadly the wobble came back :(. I decided to go back to Best Buy and exchange it I was worried it might fall out of the sky didn’t want to take any chances. So I get to the store and tell them what’s going on and I get another unit. I was worried it would still happen so I got home updated it flew it. Luckily this one has no issue I’m happy so far with the purchase. So far guess I just got a bad unit. So I caution everyone if your getting one always check before you fly make sure everything is good and if you see the slightest issue I suggest switching it out don’t risk it these are expensive devices.

I can’t say enough about the Phantom 4 Pro V2.0. Countless failsafe features make it difficult to crash. The video and photos are amazing. Can fly it literally miles away in the right conditions. Worth the money!

Added this drone to go along with my Mavic Pro. This is a really nice drone packed with features. Wish the P4PV2.0 had an HDMI output to run in to a larger monitor. The P4Pro(not 2.0) and and the P4Advanced have an optional module to purchase to run HDMI out.

Photo quality- 5/5 Speed of drone- 5/5 Video quality- 5/5 I use this drone for photos and video and the ability to change the settings on mostly everything helps me create cineamatic and smooth shots. If you want something that covers ground fast and then also gives you great stability and picture quality, look no further. I don't think the top dji drone is worth the money and it's very cumbersome. The other smaller drones by dji are great but the wind can create unstable videos when it's windy. This one gives you a bit more weight to get the look you want. Also it's nice that the Gimbel and lens aren't exposed as much like the mavic. (For crashes) It will happen. It just does okay lol Anyways 5/5 great drone for everyone. But if you travel alot for video and photos I'd suggest the mavic pro. Only because of the portablility.

I love my DJI Phantom 4 Pro, it’s very easy to fly and takes amazing video in 4K. When I purchased it, I learned that DJI has a program called “DJI Care” that will provide repair or replacement of a damaged drone. Today I’m thankful I purchased it, because after 2 weeks of flying the drone with easy and perfect control, on this day immediately after take off the drone went out of control. The flight lasted about 15 seconds, the drone went up 25’, then shot backwards and down into Lake Michigan. DJI is going to take care of the drone since it was retrieved by some very kind paddleboarders. I’m writing this so future new pilots can learn from my experience, don’t place great trust in your drone, and for goodness sake never fly near people. In my case there were a few people in the area, and I’m extremely thankful it was only the drone that got hurt. If that thing had careened into a person, injures could be severe and permanent. This has me wondering about both safety and liabilities involved when flying a drone. It’s going to take a lot to build my trust again. I’m not saying this is a bad product, I really like mine, but don’t be lulled into too much trust in your drone because you have a dozen flawless flights. In my case I’m thinking something went wrong with a sensor, or possibly the GPS was not given enough time to warm up. Any future flights will allow 2 minutes of warmup and verification of all sensor data as a pre-flight.

Excellent drone for the money. I am so pleased with the quality of the photos and the obstacle avoidance feature of the phantom for pro. My previous drone was the phantom three advanced. I find the phantom four easier to use, I appreciate that I don’t have to calibrate it myself it does it automatically. And the picture quality is phenomenal. I am very happy with my purchase.

This is my second Phantom 4 (the first one crashed and burned, wasn't pretty lol). I like the ease of use and the results that I get from the camera. The stabilization is incredible. My only gripes are how often the DJI App need to "upgrade" to newer versions of FAA databases and that the compass needs to be calibrated more often than my first version Phantom 4.

I use this aircraft for photogrammetry and it works great. The average flight time with high capacity batteries is around 20-23 minutes moving at approximately 3-5 mph. The camera takes excellent pictures which produce high quality photogrammetric reconstructions. The only negative I can find is that it doesn't track in a straight line as well as the Mavic Pro did. I've tried re-calibrating the controller but it still wants to bank slightly right no matter which direction I'm flying. Not a big deal though, its easy to compensate for.

I originally had a Phantom 4 standard, and it suffered a crash in which it was destroyed. So, I was looking at the Mavic 2, but ultimately decided to go with this version of the Phantom because I already had 3 batteries, and being that they have very similar cameras, I preferred the more flat profile of the Phantom 4 Pro 2.0. Also, I already have a Mavic Pro, and the Occusync flight range helped sealed the deal. I fly this drone 4 miles out over the ocean, chasing freight ships, and by the time I hit the “time to turn around” signal, I still have full signal on my controller. So, the only limititation I see on the Occusync 1.0 is the battery life. And 4 miles is plenty. I shoot photos in CinaLog, usually into the sun (piers and boats) and pull the colors in LightRoom. Combined with the Poloar Pro 128 ND filter, these photos look amazing. It provides me a low F-Stop, along with a low shutter speed and keeps the Histogram right in the middle. I get a full range of highs and lows. And the colors pop. I absolutely recommend this drone.

This is my THIRD Phantom 4 model. The 1st being the regular Phantom. 2nd the Pro. 3rd the Pro v2 (this). The new blades make it much quieter, and now it doesnt sound too much like an obnoxious flying weedwacker. Haven't flown it much, but it operates as smooth as the rest of them, but the upgraded (from the 1st model) 20MP camera is way better than the original 12MP. The DJIGO app seems to be some stable than what it first use to be, so the connection to the craft seems more solid, no cutting out or the unexpected camera loss. The one gripe I have is the software limiting how high you can go. Some of us that use these for photography gigs and have been flying for a couple of years know how to fly safely and shouldn't be limited based on a blanketed rule. One size does not fit all. But DJI is the best in the business (as of writing) and make a decent drone. A1 quality all the way!

Much quieter, amazing camera and better range than the p4p v1

Bought this drone for my husband because he really wanted a powerful drone and we’ve seen this one in action and it’s unreal great fly time, excellent camera and easy to navigate. In all honesty this drone was too “to much drone” for what he wanted in his first big guy drone so we exchanged it for the smaller, but also AMAZING mavic pro.

I have to admit that there was a bit of a learning curve, and the instructions leave things to be desired. Outside of that, once I figured out the controls and the features, it is a fantastic drone. It is stable, even in a somewhat windy environment. The quality of video and still images is really good - surprisingly so.

Really good drone. I think that it’s great for professional photographers or videographers. It’s built really well and has 5-way obstacle detection. The whole camera assembly is metal including the gimbal.

Have 2 of them, use them every day for work, loooooong range, have never had a single problem, new props are a plus, very quiet

I went against the normal and originally bought a Yuneec Typhoon 4K Pro. Technically I bought (2) of them within a 3 week period. Both failed, one suffered a motor failure mid flight and the second went dead stick on the initial flight and impaled itself into a tree, many pieces covered the ground. I decided to try again, but this time with the Phantom 4 pro V2. I have to be honest, while it doesn't have some of the nicer features of the Typhoon (independent gimbal control, retractable landing gear, etc) it is superior in almost every other area. It is significantly easier to operate, it has way longer range, the upgraded camera is superb and the SW is light years ahead. The only nitpicking issue we have the Active Tracking often gets lost if the subject goes behind a tree or any type of coverage even for a second. Otherwise it is absolutely superb in every aspect. While it is large, if you are interested in having the best image in photos/video possible (with the correct neutral density filters which are not included) this is the unit to go with.

This is our first drone we have ever owned. If you read the manual and follow the instructions, flying becomes second nature. Takes incredible pictures and 4k footage. The drone also has great obstacle avoidance features.

I am pleased with this drone. it basically flys itself. I used it on a couple fire scenes and MVA. I was able to get clear videos and photos that ultimately help in these investigations.

This drone has been amazing. Easy to use right out of the box. There are some helpful videos and tutorials online that help find the different features. The app interface has worked well for me and I have yet to notice any issues. The video and still quality is impressive for such a small camera. The quick release props are easy to install and a great feature. The drone is a bit noisy, but far quieter than others in the market. It handles wind very well and the gimble keeps a smooth shot. In high winds it is possible to see the props in the video if the camera is not angled down far enough.
