It does a good job. The manual drive feature is hard to use because of the lag, but it does work. My only real complaint is that because of my pool shape, it tends to get stuck on the corner of my stairs and i will have to pull it off the stairs for it to keep cleaning. It will climb stairs and if you have a pool skimmer ledge for the kids to hold onto around your pool, it will go over that to still clean your waterline.. sometimes. The filter is easy to clean. Over all a good vacuum, but my pool isn’t a perfect square because the stairs extend past the hot tub, has places to sit at the deep end, and has a tanning ledge, so I probably have more trouble because of that.
