Dr. John - Live at Rockpalast 1999 Fantastic Rockpalast performance from July 9, 1999 at Lorelei Open Air Festival (Germany) by six-time Grammy Award winner Dr. John! On July 9, 1999, Dr. John performed at the Loreley as part of a Rockpalast festival. He was accompanied by three outstanding session musicians David Barard (bass), Bobby Broom, and Herman Ernest (drums). The set list included Dr. John classics such as InchIko, Iko, Inch InchRight Place, Wrong Time, Inch and InchI Walk On Guilded Splinters, Inch which became a global hit in 1969 in Marsha Hunt's version and was later covered by Cher, Humble Pie, and the Neville Brothers, among others. This Rockpalast recording is a moving legacy of the extraordinary musician and human being Dr. John, who passed away in the summer of 2019 in his beloved hometown of New Orleans.
