This movie showcases the potential of 4KUHD. The blacks and clarity of each shot shine through with HDR. One of the best movies, and possibly one of the best 4K blu rays I’ve watched yet.

This is a lovely way to watch a great movie! It's a must have.

Such a classic! Great satire with lots of laugh out loud moments. If I could force everyone in the world to watch one movie, this is the one I would choose. Though it’s from the 60s, it’s still pretty relevant. My only gripe would be that cover is a bit boring. I really really wanted the movie and I just saw it in the store so I bought it so it could watch it that night. There are releases with more beautiful covers but this one’s price was right and the convenience of immediately having it outweighed that for me this time. The special features are pretty great too.

one of my favorite activities is (was?) ordering movies from bestbuy. i would order them for in store pickup and go for a nice walk to pick up my movie -- a much better experience than just buying online and waiting for the package. darn shame that bestbuy is no longer offering physical media.

Gentlemen, you can’t fight in the war room! Saw this about 20 years ago and thought how crazy it would be to have such a calamity to occur as depicted in this movie. Although this is completely fictional, makes me wonder how many close calls the planet faces on a daily basis. I was able to snag this sale and recommend the watch.

Yes indeed one of the greatest films ever made. Kubrick at his very best. Peter Sellers in his most profound multi character roles. It's an All Star cast with Slim Pickens, Sterling Hayden, George C. Scott and more. Seller's best line of the film: "Mein Furher I can walk" as he rises from bhis wheel chair. When i first saw the film, in 1964 I needed to be carried out of the theater for laughing uncontrollably.

Was happy to pick this up at a decent price since the Criterion version is never going to fall below $20 at the lowest. Filled with tons of great bonus features as well, so you won’t be missing out on that either.

Golly.....how does anyone judge one Kubrick film over another? They're all great! That said.....my only complaint is that my Dr. Strangelove didn't have a slipcase. Other than that this 4K-BD looks better than what they saw in the theaters in 1964.

This is a great movie. The acting is great and it has humor too along with alittle drama. I wish more movies had this instead of just getting super hero movies all the time. Common Russia and China are evil we can make movies about them given the current times. Hollywood only thinks of making money with them. I wish there were also more film noir movies, good one not just asex film.

Great value at Best Buy on a classic film ! Kubrick is a genius and Best Buy always has smart choices for savvy shoppers . I always find the best deals at Best Buy!

Anything by Stanley Kubrick is a great choice! Peter Sellars is phenomenal in this dark comedy.

Great 4k transfer. The HDR is very well done. The image is very sharp. No playback issues.
