I was expecting a normal DBZ fighting game. I wasn't expecting a fighting/rpg. This game is solid and better than the first one. Plus the price was spot on!

Huge fan of dbz and love this game. Even if you're not into dbz it's still a really good fighting game

A decent fighting game for DBZ fans, but I'm not sure I would recommend to everyone.

The short version. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is a fantastic game, especially if you happen to be a fan of Dragon Ball. Xenoverse 2 fixes a lot of issues that the first game had but it created some new problems along the way and sadly ripped a lot of its content from the first game. All that said, here is what it comes down to. If you played the first game, wait for a price drop. If you didn't play the first game. This one is THE Dragon Ball experience bar none. The long version Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is fun, it is. But most of the story and the side quests are lifted right from the original. And if you happen to transfer your character from the first game you see them maybe 5 times over the course of the game and then never again. You can't even pick them as a playable character in side quests or Expert Missions which I found to be a little disappointing. All that said, there are some redeeming values here. The hub is huge and once your character gets their flying license its really immersive to fly around Conton City looking for side quests and training with your favorite Dragon Ball heroes. Getting new attacks, and clothing options is much easier, and the game is much more balanced. (Though not perfect) The biggest new feature is the new Expert Missions which can be played with 6 people. These are fun if you can get 6 people together and they do provide a nice challenge. However this creates the biggest problem, when doing Expert missions or any mission for that matter. At the time of this writing, only the party leader gets credit for completing them. You can still get new attacks, items, clothing, EXP and Money but the game does not recognize YOU completed it. In other words if you and your 5 friends want to complete all the expert missions will need to play each expert mission 6 times for you all to get individual credit for completing it. Overall the game has a lot of content, and as I said if you didn't play the original you will get the most out of it. If you did, I would suggest waiting for a sale or price drop.

The game is great, but the character selection could be a little better with respect to the variant races you can pick from. Also, the currency to buy some in-game items is somewhat tedious to get. Other than that, I was really surprised how awesome this game was, and it helped me connect with friends who love the DBZ universe!!

My kid has been having a blast with this game, I've also played against him a bit and thought difficult but fun. Levels seem to be challenging but doable, so I see him trying many times but getting close enough that he keeps at it until he succeeds.

Hey I hadn't play this one myself but i definitely played the first one and my sister got this for her BF and he said its amped up and loves the roster of characters and power attacks. I think you can play the demo of it yourself to be the judge.

Xenoverse 2 still plays similar to the first one but the frame rate is improved. You get many new additions including flying around the hub world, costumes, and new abilities. The story is a continuation of the first game but it can be played alone without missing much. It starts with the saiyan arc and ends around the resurrection of F arc. This game has so many different things to do it will take you months to complete. I'd recommend this to anyone who loved the first game or just thinks the gameplay looks fun. Tons of value here.

Very good graphics and improves on the already good original Xenoverse. But I'm a bit tired of all the 3D DBZ fighting games, so the upcomong DBZ Fighter would be refreshing and looks amazing and faithful to the manga art.

This has been one of the best DBZ games since Bodokai on the PS2. The fighting is simple enough to grasp yet can be fairly complex when playing competitively when you begin to consider the timing and actions of the skills you choose. I easily put 30 hours into this game and when I beat the main story line there was still hours upon hours of skills to unlock and side quests to do.

This is a great version of the game! The graphics are spot on and better from the previous game. The story line is good and so is the Xbox live.

I have only had the game a few weeks, but it is definitely an improvement over the first. Being able to create multiple characters at the get-go is a plus. In the previous game you needed to beat the game first to create new characters. The game play isn't much different than the first. Basic combos are easier than before. More advanced combos do have a learning curve and can be frustrating. But there is a sense of achievement when you get it right. All the game modes work much as they did before, though is there no more multi-lobby? I have only played the game a handful of times, so maybe I just need to work out how to see others online. I am only a quarter of the way through the game right now, but so far it has been enjoyable and easier than the first Xenoverse. I will update after getting more time in, but this game is just as fun, if not more so than the first. Fans of the series will like this game. I mainly bought it for the opportunity to get to Super Saiyan God level. I also am a fan of the series and think Xenoverse and Xenoverse 2 are some of the best additions to the Dragon Ball gaming line up. I am giving this game 4 stars for not allowing you to fly around Conton City from the get-go. First week in, I would have given it 5, but after two weeks it has become really frustrating trying to get from one place to another quickly. I know there are transfer bots around, but it still sucks to have to go to one. Other than that, I am satisfied with the game and look forward to progressing to Super Say God Super Saiyan.

Bought for my son and he was surprised. He needed this and now is happy to play the game. He told me that this is an owsome game.

Bought for my son and fiancé to play. Reminds me of smash bros and street fighter. Very fun game.

The two games I purchased are great action and age appropriate games for my son. He loves them!

Not sure what to expect the first was fun the 2nd should only be an improvement
