My wife always complains about my “gadgets” While she initially rolled her guys when I was setting it up. She quickly came to realize that this is different. My son named it Rocky cause this is officially the hardest working member of our family. It does everything to perfection. You don’t have to tell it just gets the job done. The true definition of set it and forget it! Couldn’t be happier!! And would 1000% recommend to family, friends, and any random person who will listen!

Best purchase ever! I love this Dreame, it’s a dream

I’ve been using the Dreame X40 Ultra for a while now, and the experience has been outstanding. Its suction power is impressive—it easily picks up everything from fine dust to pet hair, leaving floors truly clean. The side brush does a great job reaching corners and edges, and the removable mop system is very convenient because it prevents moisture from getting onto carpets. The mapping process was quick and accurate, and the app is user-friendly, making it easy to schedule cleanings and customize specific zones. It runs relatively quietly without sacrificing performance, and the self-cleaning features greatly reduce the need for manual maintenance. Although it’s a higher-priced product, the performance fully justifies the investment. If you’re looking for a robot vacuum that can reliably keep your floors clean with minimal supervision, this is an excellent choice. I would definitely buy it again.

Fast for scanning, deep vacuum and mop, sadly from Alexa you can’t select to clean, vac or mop for separates rooms o specific room even when web page says is one of the characteristics of x40

I’ve had the Dreame X40 Ultra for a little while now and it honestly exceeded my expectations. The suction power is no joke — it picks up everything from fine dust to pet hair without missing spots. The side brush does a great job getting along edges and corners, and the liftable mop feature is perfect because it doesn’t drag moisture onto rugs. The mapping was quick and accurate, and the app is easy to use. I love being able to set schedules and customize cleaning zones. It runs quietly but still feels powerful, and the self-cleaning features make it almost completely hands-off. It’s definitely an investment, but you get what you pay for. If you want something that actually keeps your floors clean without constantly babysitting it, this is it. I’d absolutely buy it again.

I really wanted to like the Dreame X40 Ultra more than I do. The mopping/floor washing feature is genuinely nice: it cleans well, the dock is convenient, and the whole system feels modern. But as a vacuum, it has been disappointing. I have pets, and they shed. My very old Roomba used to fill its bin with fur every day, so I know there is plenty to pick up. The Dreame barely seems to touch it by comparison. For a high-end robot vacuum, that is a pretty big miss. Accessories are another frustration. They are extremely expensive, and most of the time they seem to be out of stock either on Dreame’s own website or at other retailers. Customer service has also been mediocre. The app does not help the experience either. It is cluttered with ads and upsells, and I have not found a way to turn that off. For a premium product, the app should feel like a control panel for something I already bought, not a storefront trying to sell me more things. Overall, the X40 Ultra is good at washing floors, but as a pet-hair vacuum it has been underwhelming. For the price, I expected a much better vacuuming experience and a less annoying ownership experience.
