Why don't more cases turn 90 degrees?

I bought this so I could turn my iPad to vertical for reading e-books. I don't understand why more cases don't do this. It's a little clunky, and I wish it had a bit more 'style', but I'm just happy I can use the stand to see my books better.
I would recommend this to a friend
