Picked these outdoor speakers for their lower impedance (4-6 ohms) and good price. Where 8 ohm speakers were not loud enough, these fit the bill. Look good and easy to install.

I bought first set 6 years ago and they have been outside all the time and not covered. Still working just fine. Bought recently 2nd set to another place. Good sound , very robust and the price you can't beat.

Look. They fit the bill for an outdoor speaker. No, they don't sound like a $1000 Bose speaker, but they retail for under $100. They do have great sound, are weather-resistant, and I've used them now for about a month, having hung them from the soffit area of my roof line above our patio. They have been exposed to the heat, humidity, and rain of the mid-Atlantic. I love them and am pleased with the purchase. I ran speaker wire to my receive, play my favorite CD's, and every afternoon it's drinks on the veranda! Can't go wrong.

Last year I installed a pair of outdoor Bose speakers and they are quite nice. I wanted to purchase 2 more for another area of patio but really didn’t want to invest so much. I found these speakers and really didn’t expect them to stand up to the Bose, but boy was I wrong . I think they may sound better

These speakers have a very good sound. They are being used in the bedroom to give a surround sound effect.

These are nice, but like many new AV products the wire connections are to small for big hands.
