This movie surprised me in a great way. It was exciting, hilarious at unexpected but always welcome times, and even hit with some emotional moments. I was not expecting this to end up in my personal top 10 movies, but it’s there. It’s entirely accessible and enjoyable to non-D&D players, but has gems and hidden threads of the game for long-time D&D players. Acting was great, effects were awesome, and story was very much worthwhile.

All star cast! Really good movie. I saw this in theaters and would recommend this to anyone.

Great movie, the actors brought the characters to live, equal mix of action and humor. This movie really expands the wonderful world of the game Dungeons and Dragons. Grew up playing the game, this movie is a good to watch for novice and beginners playing the RPG world of Dungeons and Dragons. Really enjoyed seeing Chris Pine playing the main character, he brought an honest quality to the character. Thoroughly enjoyed the movie.

An overall fun fantasy romp! If you are looking for a fun good time, and not a dark dreary movie, this one is for you. It does not take itself too seriously, and looks good while doing it. I do think it could have benefited from more character and antagonist development. Pretty good fun!

This was a really good and fun movie. I played DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS once years ago, and other than that, I really knew nothing about it, other than the D&D world appealed to me because of my love for fantasy and adventure. Very enjoyable and entertaining movie set in the Dungeons and Dragons World of Faerun. Great character development and action. Good Movie for the family with themes of belonging and family, a few intense moments of fighting and some monsters. Appropriate for kids over the age of 10yrs.

Fantastic movie! If you're a beginner or veteran of D&D, you'll appreciate all the little tidbits in the movie. But even if you don't know a thing about D&D, this is such a great movie. It's got comedy, romance, plenty of action & adventure, and an amazing cast of characters.

This was better than I expected. I’ve never played D&D so I suspect there are plenty of jokes that went past me, but I really enjoyed it and laughed a lot anyway. Rented the movie to watch the first time and immediately knew I wanted to buy it.

I found this movie to be very entertaining. It was funny and fun to watch. At times it seemed a bit slow. At times parts of it reminded me of The Princes bride. If you like this type of movie it is a good movie and very enjoyable to watch.

This is a great movie. I saw it twice at the movie theatre and loved it both times. Lots action, has humor, and a great story and cast. Anyone who's a fan of Dungeons and Dragons, this movie is a must have for your collection.

a perfect movie in my opinion, great humor, the magic is awesome, and the cast clearly are having fun in this movie. I've never played the game this film is based on and not once did I fell lost or confused! A MUST SEE!

I am a big D&D fan so of course I had to pick this one up. If you have played D&D in the past, you will find references to old quests that make the movie so much better because you understand the backstory

Watching this felt like they took an actual campaign and took snapshots of the sessions to generate the scenes. Enjoyable dialog that felt right as home with a tabletop game

This movie is a lot if fun. Never payed D&D but that does not take away anything from this. If you have played D&D, this was made by true D&D fans. I'm sure you would like it too.

Fantastic movie. Funny, visually appealing, and definitely written by someone who knows how to play the game. Delivery was faster than expected which was amazing.

I watched all of the trailers on TV and knew I had to watch the movie. Tried to watch it in a theater but missed the start time. This is a fantastic movie full of excitement.

As someone who is not a Dungeons and Dragons fan, this movie is a great action / adventure / drama/ comedy. The Blu-Ray looks and sounds amazing.
