Very disappointed with this purchase. The best part of this is that it was delivered 4 days earlier than initially estimated. That's where any positive review stops. (HARD STOP!). The TV had a few abrasions on the top corners which wasn't initially an issue. As I was deciding where this would be mounted I placed it on my deck in partial sun (fairly cloudy day). The first issue I noticed is that the cover glass makes this TV VERY reflective as my images indicate. And it wasn't just the sunlight but the ambient light as well. As I prepared the mount for the TV I let the TV remain powered on to better understand the reflectivity. After about an hour I was ready to hang the TV but then the rain started. What happened next was completely unexpected... The heat generated by the TV was great enough so when the rain hit it, the interior portion of the cover glass fogged up. I then decided I would see how long that took to dissipate. I wiped it dry (see images) and then turned it back on only to see once the rain began again, more condensation came back. I spoke with a friend who installs pro-displays and he stated that this was an inherent problem with the design of this TV. Whether it is or isn't, I am very disappointed in what I purchased. Now I have a TV bracket mounted on the exterior of my home and not sure if the TV is worth even putting up as this will clearly happen every time the atmosphere is cooler than the TV. And since it runs hot, I'm not sure what I will do. No matter what I have (4) holes in my house with an empty bracket. At this point, I am now irritated with the marring found at the top corners as well, even though they probably wouldn’t be seen when mounted due to height. This specific TV was purchased based on the reviews here on Best Buy. I should have read those more closely as there appears to be multiple reviews with the same verbiage. How does THAT happen? I'll probably give it a week or so and determine whether it’s worth a return. For something I was planning on being a focal point of backyard entertainment, it sure has turned into a giant headache. Is the manufacturer even aware of their design drawback? And probably the biggest laugh I had was the "weatherproof" plastic bag you are to place the remote in to keep it away from water. The "bag" falls apart every time you open it up and it doesn't allow you to use the voice control nor the scroll wheel, which may not even be an issue if and when I decide to return this hunk of junk. Buyer beware. I would gladly pay an extra $700~$1000 for an Outdoor BUILT FOR THE OUTDOORS!!! Signed – Irritated customer (!!!)

Purchased the DuraPro 55in for outdoor patio. TV always under patio cover, never wet, no sunlight. I am diligent about wiping down for any dust that can accumulate. Screen has now died after very limited use. Seems to be the same problem as other reviews. I would like restitution. This is a known issue.

I bought this television in March 2024 and purchased an extended warranty from Best Buy. The television is a very sheltered patio, no direct sunlight, no rain and covered when not in use, and usage was very minimal. Yesterday, the screen failed with the exact issues others are citing: screen displays random vertical white, gray & black lines and there isn't any setting which works. Despite warranty, required to pay $99 for scheduling service technician. Will update after Friday.

I have listened to previous reviews. I'm watching TV the 4th of July weekend and out of know where vertical lines are all over the screen. I'm like are we serious, this TV is only 8 months old, always covered and it just stops working. Customer service had been atrocious. Steer clear of this one unless you're a gluten for subpar equipment and a company that doesn't stand behind their product.

1 year later and played 10x if that and it’s already NO GOOD! And I didn’t even buy it on sale now that would’ve made the sting a little lighter! It stayed covered and I had an event but to my embarrassing surprise it had all these white lines running down it like it was crying just like I was!

purchased for Super Bowl. VERY heavy, and larger than I thought. ya I saw 55 inches, but it is huge.. Men sat at the back porch drinking and doing what we do. women in the living room not watching a single play. the unit must be wall mounted. the mounting system is not the best. the anchor bolts will not work, they are not rated for the weight so I purchase high loaded bolts. because it is sealed for outside use, hook all the connect wires first or you will be taking that 85lb tv down. USB, HDMI cables, etc.

We purchased this TV for our shaded but uncovered patio. We have enjoyed it for watching sports and movies. It has all of our favorite streaming apps integrated. There is a glare while viewing in daylight, but at night especially, it's been a great viewing experience. We have put a cover on the TV to avoid dirt and dust and it's withstood the elements perfectly fine so far. We have used with a bluetooth speaker and with integrated speakers. I would recommend this product.

Working good so far have had it outdoor in a semi protected space from the rain and it has been working good thus far screen is a bit shiny in the sun so having it covered would be best
