Compatible with most A/V components with an optical digital audio jack, this Dynex™ Direct DX-SF136 cable easily connects your DVD player, gaming console or other device to a compatible TV or A/V receiver, ensuring efficient signal transmission.
Q: is this compatible with the Bose Cinemate woffer
A: All optical connections are standard and if both the devices to be connected have optical cable connection points, any optical connect cable will work including this one. The thing to be careful about is treat this cable a bit gently than regular connection cables - no sharp bends, no kinks, no folding, and definitely no crushing behind/under other heavy things. All signal transmission is through light pulses and light in optical fiber cables travels best along smooth curves and straight lines.
Q: Will this cable fit my Bose solo 5 sound bar?
A: I’m not familiar with that Bose system. I do have a Bose system I bought 6years ago and it works. I don’t think Bose would change their optical audio slots in that time.
Q: With this work from a Samsung tv to Bose sound bar?
A: Most Samsung TV's nowadays are equipped with optical cable port.. Toslink cable can be connected from tv to sound bar assuming the Bose speaker/sound bar is also equipped with optical cable audio port.
Q: Does that cable fit in my sound bar hw-k360 ? Thank you in advance
A: First my answer is yes but make sure you Television have the optical in put or out put once you have that you should connect it easy try it the sound its super.
Q: The specifications say 8 inches, but this is actually 8 feet, right?
A: 8 feet long.
Q: Will this work with my older sony cd/dvd receiver-Model HCD S300?
A: From what I am finding about your component I am only finding an optical In port on Video 2. This means that if you are feeding audio to this system in order to feed the speakers it would work. If you are looking to output from this device to another system, say a TV, since I am not seeing an optical out I don't believe this would work.
A: Should be able to, but without physically seeing both devices in person I can’t tell you with 100% certainty
