Eliminate the need for a bulky TV stand with this Dynex full-motion wall mount. Helping you make the most of your space, this wall mount is compatible with TVs ranging from 47 to 75 inches and features tilt, swivel, and arm extension capabilities to provide maximum viewing flexibility. *NOTE: earlier versions of package may reflect a maximum TV size of 70”, the mount is fully-capable of supporting most 75” TVs as long as TV is under the maximum weight capacity listed for the mount.
A: Looking for a little clarification on this....Mine had no screws or threaded inserts on the back of the TV. Do the screws mentioned above self thread into the plastic? My TV has the correct screw wells on the back but no threads? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!
Q: Can I mount my new 65 inch Sony with this?
A: You will have to measure the VESA mounting hardware locations on the back of the TV. The biggest that this will mount is a 400mm wide x 400mm tall pattern. I recently mounted my Samsung 58" with this kit and the Samsung is a 400mm x 400mm pattern. It should fit as most TV's have been standardized for this very purpose. The only complaint I have is that the supplied hardware was either too short or too long even with the use of the spacers. I had to break into my stash of hardware from previous mount installations to get the hardware combination correct. Sorry for the long answer!
Q: Does this wall mount accommodate 24inc wall studs ?
A: This mount is designed for 16" OC studs. If you want it mounted on (2) 24"OC studs you can't do it with this mount only. If the center of where you want it installed is where a stud is, then there is also no center mounting holes on the bracket to use either, The best case mounting for this bracket is if the center of where you want it mounted is exactly the center between (2) 16" studs. The best case for all other mounting positions is getting at least one stud and the other side in drywall. For my case of the 24" OC stud right in the center of where I want it mounted, means both sides would have to be in drywall. I was told by Best Buy that this mount would work with 24" OC studs but after looking at the problem I decided to have them try to do it and if that means all screws are in drywall, then I will get them to guarantee the install, including any repairs to the wall and replacement of the television, should it fail. Just so people understand, the 2 rows of holes are spaced sort of like this: O O O-------------O O O O O O-------------O O O The two end holes are 16" OC. (The holes are horizontally elongated, but there is no character like that.) The total width of the mounting bracket is 18". See the picture of one end of the mounting template for other details.
Q: Hello - does this mount work with a 42in. Insignia Roku TV?
A: Without verifying the VESA pattern on your TV, this mount fits most from 32 - 70 inch flat panel TV's. It can use patterns from 100mm x 100mm to 600mm x 400mm .
Q: Is is single arm or two in the rear?
A: I’ll attach a picture for you so you can see. The max screw hole length horizontally is 24 inches also.
A: Yes, this Wall Mount supports the patterns: 200x200, 300x200, 300x300, 400x200, 400x300, 400x400, 500x400, 600x400.
Q: Will Best Buy install the wall mount?
A: Yes it will, however it will only mount on 16inc wall studs, do before buying check the distance between your wall studs.
Q: When the TV is flat against the wall how large is the gap between TV and wall?
A: There are about 7 1/2 inches between the wall surface and the TV rear, when flat.
