A: The batteries would work but I don't think they would charge properly unless the solar lights you have say to use NiMh batteries. The path lights I have need NiCd

A: I installed these in Panasonic cordless phones. They are working great.

A: Most cordless phones use a soldered together pack of 3 batteries with a tiny connector. These are not suitable for that application.
Q: Can you charge these in an energizer charger
A: Yes, the batteries can be charged in an energizer charger.
Q: Are these batteries appropriate for use in yard solar lamps?
A: I think thats about all they should be used for
Q: What is the charge capacity of this battery
A: Stated capacity is 2000MaH, but in reality they were tested to be 900-1300MaH. That sounds bad, but is actually on par w/ most Chinese cells. Do note mine arrived very much discharged.
