A year+1/2 ago I moved into a new apartment. Needed something to filter the air nice for my cat with asthma. Also the general funky air smell going on here. And something that can reduce litter box smells. Cause let's be real, having to share a room with a litter box and waking up in the middle of the night being hotboxed by a fresh one really is not the greatest thing. For my search of an air purifier, these filters seemed to outbeat all the rest in multiple reviews. The towers for them... questionable pricing and NOT budget friendly. I ended up getting lucky and finding one of the towers while thrifting for $30 for both a tower and new filter. Best find I have ever found in my entire life. If I like it, I'll be loyal and buy the filters. If not, try a different one. And obviously have bought a filter now that a new one is needed. Will absolutely be loyal to it. These filters are rated to last 6 months, and less time if you have pets (if I remember reading correctly). Mine lasted for 8 months before it noticeably needed to be changed. I keep this thing blasting full power 24/7 right outside the litter box. And it catches everything. Was not expecting it to work SO well. The odor does not waft through the entire apartment (even with regular cleaning) AND can't even tell the litter box is in my room. Except for when they freshly drop... unfortunately have to still sit that out until it cools down xD And the general air quality in the whole place is noticeably better. And my cat has not had any issues with breathing, even on some higher AQI (air quality index) that are not suited for those with health issues. It does have it's limit's as of how high of AQI it can handle, but is to be expected. The packaging is different with this new one, but the fit is the same. It was easy enough to find what model I had and find the correct filter for it. Absolutely recommend. Have been using this new one for roughly 2 months as of now and has been working just as beautifully. If you're like me and on a budget but need the best filter on the market without taking out a loan to even buy one of the machines that use these, look up those DIY box fan filters and use that same concept with one of these ;)

Who ever knows Dyson products they superb in quality and will stand up to any others out there. I purchased this hepa filter a few weeks ago at best buy. I tryed other hepa filters on line in the past i was impressed with those they were inexpensive which i liked, $10 to $20 dollars at most. I was not very impressed how those filtered out my room. Low low quality not very engineered correctly. But what can i expect for a $20 filter. After buying a couple filters. I told myself no more cheap ones. So i went to a Dyson filter. The quality was far more greater then i expected. Lasted longer then those cheap ones.. I payed $20 dollars more for the name brand. And will continue to do so. But back to the beginning. I bought my fan from a good friend of mine, she had 2 of them but didnt need a 2nd so i bought one. It didnt have a filter but she did say i could get one on line for cheap... And thats where the story ends. No more cheap hepa filters for me. All Dyson from here and going forward. Pick one up with No disappointments and peace of mind. Thanks for reading. Dyson makes some of the best air filtration systems they are easy to take care of, just replace the filter when indicated and the system is back to work making indoor air better for you to breathe.

I have a dog, so keeping my purifier functioning is a must with this filter. Just wish they were more affordable!
