It has some blow to it. A little on the loud side.

I’m a big fan of Dyson products, and own several of the brand’s various devices. All of them are well-made, and working as good (or nearly) as the first day I got them. While I’ve yet to get one of their home stand fans, I was intrigued by this Dyson Hushjet Mini Cool 3-in-1 Handheld Desk Wearable. So far, I’m loving this handy little device! This Hushjet handheld/desk/wearable fan has 5 speeds. On its highest setting, this Dyson fan puts out a LOT of air! Really powerful, for such a small-sized device. The head also swivels to direct air flow specifically where you want it. While not whisper quiet, it’s no more loud than any other personal desk fan. The simple stand has a nice grippy rubberized ring on the bottom which seems to do a good job of keeping the fan securely wherever you place it. When using the device as a handheld, it was comfortable to hold onto; the matte surface has a pleasant pale pink color, as well. The adjustable corded lanyard-like holder which goes around your neck and hangs down in front of your chest does seem a bit corny, but at the same time, it’s useful if you want to wear the fan instead of hold it in your hand; for example if you are moving about the house or yard, or on a walk or out at a park or sporting event. I can think of many people who would benefit from this Dyson Hushjet device, whether they are using it as a handheld fan, standing it on a desk or table, or wearing it with the included “lanyard-style” accessory. I, myself, live in the Southwest U.S. and plan on enjoying my new mini cooling fan during the heat of summer this year. This personal mini fan is really cool, lightweight and portable. There’s even a velvet-like soft fabric carrying sheath included. While being used to the price point of Dyson products, in general, I can say that the cost of this Dyson device is just right! I can definitely recommend this one.

Must have for those hot summer days and nights. Works well and packs a lot of power for the size.
