We got this Dyson V10 Konical Vacuum because our current one just isn't picking up pet hair and such like it used to. It's been a very long time since we've owned a Dyson and wanted to give this one a shot. Really glad we did! The unit itself looks sharp, with the color scheme of black, red, indigo/purple and blue! This thing is also built like a tank! We've not had any issues with the battery running out before vacuuming the whole house. Suction is great - there's 3 levels, Eco, Medium and MAX. For pets and general use, we typically use it on Medium and have not had any problems. We have switched it up to MAX a few times in some more heavily trafficked areas. Beyond this, it does great on both carpet and bare floors. We love the green light because unlike other vacuums we own, it shows every little speck of dust, dirt, debris and hair - making it super easy to ensure nothing is missed. I will say that the first bin-empty was a bit tricky and just requires a little extra strength than one would initially think it would take in order to pop the handle up all the way. At first, we did not like how the compartment opened and it did take some getting used to. Afterwards, we love it because it just ejects the dirt out of the bin. No more digging around to get wound-up dirt and hair out of the cylinder area of the container! The overall noise of the unit under operation is about average. No annoying tonal areas or anything being too shrill (I have sensitive ears to certain tones and frequencies - some past vacuums have driven me absolutely crazy, haha). The vacuum is also not "heavy" to move forward and back, requiring little effort to move it - it glides very easily, regardless of the floor type. We do wish that there were a few extra attachments besides the two you get with the unit (especially given the price). You get a mini-motorized tool and a crevice tool...that's it. You also get a wall dock, but we've opted to not deal with hanging that at the moment. We really love this vacuum and it does it's job extremely well. The ONLY issue we have found with it and wish were done differently is, while the "power mode" button will blink when the battery is getting low, we've not found any actual physical battery level indicators anywhere. So, it's always a mystery exactly where your battery level is at when using or charging the device. Other than this small qualm...given the construction quality, sound level, how well it cleans and the price range it falls in, we would rate this as a solid 5/5. The wife LOVES it and yes, it does do exceptionally well with pet hair!

The Dyson V10 Konical Cordless vacuum from Best Buy is a product refresh of the original V10 that was first introduced back in 2018. While it’s not Dyson’s most powerful vacuum in terms of suction, it will more than meet the needs of a lot of users who prefer a nice lightweight battery-operated vacuum with proven features, is affordable, and easy to operate. While the V10 vacuum itself is much like the original, Dyson has redesigned the floor head to better handle vacuuming hair, and that includes pet and human hair. For me, the biggest V10 upgrade is the addition of a green laser light on the vacuum head. I confess to being a clean freak bordering obsessive-compulsive, and I tend to vacuum the entire house daily. The laser light quickly revealed a shocking amount of crumbs, dust, as well as pet and human hair on what I had believed to be a pretty clean floor. The green laser detects even the tiniest speck of dust and fine hair for easy pickup. I now look forward to vacuuming now as the mission to seek out previously hidden dust and debris is a new cleaning passion of mine. I initially assumed that the laser light was just another gimmick, but I was quickly proven wrong at first use. After a week of using the V10 Konical, I have discovered that I now actually prefer to vacuum in the evening as the laser seems to work better at detecting things in lower light, improving the range of the laser detection. If you really want to freak out, run the vacuum with laser light underneath your bed! Prepare to be shocked! The V10 Konical kit includes the usual accessories, including a crevice tool and powered upholstery cleaning head with rotary brush. The conical design of the floor wand really works. I examined the head closely and there is no sign of hair to be found. Operation is as simple as it gets, as controls consist of a power switch and next to that is a button to select from three cleaning modes (power settings). Also included are a wall mount and charger. Battery life is excellent and I’ve never run out of power while vacuuming our 2,400 sq. ft. home. I find the V10 Konical absolutely perfect for cleaning laminate flooring and that’s where the laser light really works best. While we don’t have carpeting, I do find it performs well on our washable area rugs and hallway runners with just the perfect amount of suction. I generally use the default middle setting when cleaning our floors, but the strong setting is there for those times when you need an extra power boost for those hard-to-reach areas, like when using the crevice tool. Overall, I am excited about the Dyson V10 Konical and very impressed with how well it cleans. I have owned lots of Dysons over the years and this is easily my favorite vacuum of all. Kudos to Dyson for making the V10 even better.

This was packed neatly, with all parts protected well. On unboxing, the vacuum unit itself really stood out with the colorful plastics. Included is the power vacuum unit, the wand, power floor brush, power upholstery brush, crevice tool, wall hanging bracket, charger, and some very basic guides. Looking it over, the fit and finish is excellent as well. Unpacked all the parts, and all components fit together perfectly. The wand snaps onto the vacuum unit firmly, and the floor unit onto the wand. The release buttons work perfectly to “unsnap” parts. The floor power brush pivots 90 degrees up and down, and 180 degrees side to side. The cover is easily opened for cleaning the brush of hair etc. The HEPA filter is easily removable, and is washable. The dirt bin door drops open and empties all dirt with the pull of the top lever. Also, there is a primary filter that pulls out of the top of the power unit. Charger can plug into the vacuum directly, however the vacuum can snap into the included wall mount, and will charge while docked. On to use... Fully charged the battery, and proceeded to test out the vacuum. Having a home with pets, it was certainly a thorough test. I found there are many excellent points with the vacuum, however, also some drawbacks. First thing I noticed is the light on the floor tool is a bright green – it really doesn't show hair, small specs, as well as a white light would do. The floor tool was easily maneuvered around with the amount of flexibility it has. But, I did not see as much “lifting” of the carpet as I would expect. But on smooth floors, this will do an excellent job. The vacuum unit itself was awesome. It has two power levels, and on high, it really pulls a lot of air (vacuum) through the tool and wand to pick up dirt. The battery is touted to be as much as 60 minutes, but I would think much shorter using it on high. The upholstery tool has a powered brush that does a super job of removing pet hair and dirt from upholstery. Crevice attachment is good on the low setting. However, the dirt bin is small, and will fill with hair and dirt quickly. Overall, would probably be 4 1/2 stars.... The floor tool would benefit from a little better brushing action, and would like to see a more detailed manual.

I’ve been very impressed with the Dyson V10. It has plenty of suction for everyday cleaning and easily picks up dirt, pet hair, and debris from both hardwood floors and carpet. The cordless design makes it incredibly convenient—it’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and I find myself cleaning more often simply because I don’t have to drag out a bulky vacuum or deal with a cord. Battery life has been more than adequate for cleaning my entire home on the standard power setting, and it charges back up fairly quickly. The dust bin is easy to empty, and the included attachments make it simple to clean stairs, furniture, and even my car. Overall, this is an excellent cordless vacuum that combines strong performance with convenience. If you’re looking for a powerful, easy-to-use vacuum for everyday cleaning, I would definitely recommend the Dyson V10.

The Dyson v10 konical vacumn is another good product from Dyson, but it is not 5 star. The setup out of the box is pretty straight forward. There is a link to better setup instructions and operating instructions. What I found a bit disappointing, among a few things, is the true plastic nature of it. I wonder the longevity of plastic clicks into plastic buttons. Plastic release buttons and the whole plastic release trash bin button setup. Looking at it, it is hard to believe these things will not break over time. While the vacumn promotes 60 min run time the reality is that run time is only if you detach the head and use it to operate the attachments. As a full use stand up vacumn the run time is less. Much less. This is disappointing for sure. Read the fine print. Why do companies do this? They promote 60 min run time. Then se d you to the footnotes telling you that is only if you run the detached tools. The vacumn is powerful and the pick up is excellent. Suction is superb. The motor moves so fast that it makes for the great suction. The vacumn has a built in hepa filter which only adds to the first rate ability to pick up waste. The hand held aspect works well on stairs as the supplied mini motorized tool works very well. As does the supplied crevice tool allowing you to get into those hard to reach places. As a vacumn this dyson v10 konical works great. It has a detachable reach. The motor has 3 modes. Works best on max. Worst on eco. A detachable battery allows for future replacement. The v10 konical comes with a wall dock that allows you to hang the vacumn on the dock in a way that automatically allows the vacumn to charge when locked in. You simply route the charging cable through the dock. A great idea and a clean way to store the vacumn. Here is something not so good. The dock has a space to click in 2 attachments for storage. The supplied mini motorized tool, does NOT fit in the dock. What? Who designed this? You have a vacumn that comes with a wall dock that holds 2 attachments. Dyson sells the vacumn with 2 attachments and one of those attachments doesn't fit in the wall dock. That is crazy. So these are the few frustrations along with the review of the actual vacumn, in use. As a vacumn it is 5 star, but as a whole package this is a 4 star product.

Its an improvement from my last one. On low power it sems to last around 30 to 40 minutes but on the highest settings maybe around 15 minutes. It picks up dirt pretty well and with the green light showing what you're cleaning is a plus for me.

Roller is different from last hand held model I had befire and on carpet depending on nap it's smooth sailing, has light which always is a plus and is alittle heavy but glides easily.

Absolutely love this Dyson. It has a green light on it. That allows you to see all the dust particles and items you need to vacuum up! Great run times great suction amazing vacuum would highly recommend!

Vacuum works great it cleans all floor types amazingly. Very satisfied with how it cleans carpet. I used our corded vacuum on the carpet first and them went over it with the Dyson. The Dyson picked us so much more dirt and fibers. The only reason I give it 4 stars and not 5 is the battery life. Battery does not last as long as stated. I keep trying to buy a second battery, along with the auto-empty Dok on the Dyson website and they are out of stock and have been since we purchased. Don't waste you money on other cordless vacuums this is the one to buy.

When the plastic trigger on our 5-year old V10 broke I replaced it with this updated model. No trigger. Buttons instead. Love the light. Can now see stuff I would have missed. Good battery life in green mode & plenty of vacuum suction. Glad I bought it.

I love the light and the suction power choices. It runs a long time on one charge.

I wish I had bought this sooner. My first cordless vacuum and very pleased. It is so easy to empty the canister, it doesn’t require you to have to dig anything out of it, it just all falls out. The light shows things you’d never know were even there before. If I had carpet I would upgrade to the 1k version, worth every cent.

I’m really happy with this Dyson vacuum! The suction is incredibly powerful, and it picks up pet hair, dust, and dirt so easily. I have dogs in my home regularly, so keeping the floors and furniture clean is very important to me, and this vacuum has made such a difference. It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and I love that it’s cordless because I can quickly grab it whenever I need it. The attachments are also very useful, especially for furniture and harder-to-reach areas. The battery lasts well for my cleaning needs, and emptying the bin is quick and simple. Definitely one of the best vacuums I’ve owned and absolutely worth the purchase!

The vacuum is easy to assemble and maneuver and cleans the carpet sufficiently. The canister was easy to empty once I learned how to open it. Battery lasted for 50 - 55 minutes on eco mode. I would like to have had a manual. the website was not helpful. I'm not a techie, so that may just be me. Overall a worthwhile buy. Just FYI, I purchased this machine 3 weeks ago, so I son't have a lot of experience with it.

Easy to use of my hardwood & tiles floors. Love the way the light illuminates the dirt & dust on the floor before you vacuum. WIsh it had better written instructions and everything you need to install the bracket for storage. It is easy to store & charge once the bracket is installed.

I like the way it is lightweight and no electrical cords to plug in. You charge it before you use it. I love it.

I bought this vacuum for my home which is mostly hardwood floors with some rugs in multiple bedrooms. It was at a good price point, for me, at $399. It is the latest models. However, once I used it I realized this vacuum isn't good for hardwood floors. It was not picking up dust on the floor and the green light just highlighted all the dust remaining on the floor. So I eventually returned this Dyson and got another model (older version), Dyson V12 Slim which comes with the Fluffy Optic cleaner head, which works great on my floor. It also comes with Motobar cleaner head which works on my rugs. I would recommend the V10 Konical for people with carpet, however, if you have mostly hardwood floors like I do I would find a different option.

It is by far the best suction I’ve had on a vacuum

We ended up returning the vacuum. We didn’t like the way you have pull up the top to get the bottom part to empty. It actually got stuck once and became difficult. The battery didn’t last as long as hoped. If you use the floor attachment the battery lasted probably 15-20 minutes on charge. Every thing else seemed ok. We like the on switch and laser light on the floor attachment.
