The Temperature display is for the INSIDE measurement, is that correct for where you have the clock placed ? Move the clock to a different area to see if the temperature changes..? If it really is stuck on 46*, then I would see about an exchange for a new clock at BB. I just read through the Booklet and it only gives info on how to change between C & F settings. It doesn’t show any place on the clock for a Reset button nor did I find one on the clock itself.

Yes it does . And it has a dimmer if it is to bright for yoy that you can ajust.

You can turn of the alarm via the remote. There are two alarms.

When I received my clock, it also had the wrong remote in the box. I reached out to the seller through Best Buy and they had me send them a picture of 4 model number for the clock and a picture of the remote that came with it. They verified it was indeed the incorrect remote for my clock and mailed the correct remote to me. I can now set all the functions on the clock.
