Q: OK, since you failed to answer my question- I'll ask again.... Exactly how MANY ZONES can I make/have? AND does it have to be in line of sight with the antenna. I read it covers so many squeeze feet, however that's NOT what I asked originally.

A: The robotic lawn mower currently supports up to two zones. When creating a map through the app, first select "Lawn" to create a map of the first mowing zone. Then remotely control the robotic lawn mower to move to another mowing zone to create the second map. Select "Path" after the maps are created, and set the route to connect to the first zone for connecting multiple zones. The GNSS antenna is used to receive satellite signals, so it is necessary to be installed in an open outdoor place, where there are no buildings or trees above the antenna, and the distance between the antenna and the surrounding obstacles is above 2m (6.6ft). Confirm that the satellite signal is good, and fix the antenna extension cable.

Q: How rough a terrain can it handle. My property has gopher trails, crawdad chimneys, ant mounds, etc. It is grass, but not a residential lawn.

A: How's the tree cover? Hard to say without a picture. This things moves around ok in general but doesn't do well with combinations of soft soil and elevations. Don't expect it to function at all while under a thin canopy.

Q: Not that this will happen but if your company closed it's door tomorrow and I already had the app downloaded, would t continue to work forever or does it rely on a server you host or service you pay for?

Saves me time and effort
I have owned this mower for a few weeks and used it four times. Initially, I was skeptical due to the negative reviews I had come across on YouTube and Amazon. However, after purchasing the mower, I deliberately tried replicating the results mentioned in those reviews. To validate their claims, I meticulously compared my outcomes with the setup instructions provided by Ecoflow. It became evident that many of the individuals who had posted negative reviews either needed to follow the instructions correctly or had yards unsuitable for the optimal performance of the product. Fortunately, I was able to address and resolve the following issues: 1. Poor Signal Quality: Given my numerous trees and a two-story house, I encountered signal reception issues initially. However, I found a clever solution by mounting the antennae on my fence, which helped me overcome these challenges. 2. Mower Deviating from the Planned Path: This problem arose when I set up the maps with the antennae in one position and then moved them to a different area for subsequent mowing sessions. The coordinates became skewed, causing the mower to drive into the street or my neighbor's yard. However, once I mounted the antennae in a suitable location and left them in place, the mower stayed on course as intended. In addition to resolving these issues, I have made several other observations: • I can mow an area of 4279 square feet and maintain over 40% battery capacity. • The mower consistently returns to its dock without any problems with recharging. • The sweeper attachment is highly effective, efficiently picking up grass, thatch, and other debris. • However, the sweeper attachment does require me to empty it manually at the dock, as the mower returns and notifies me when it is full. While this can be inconvenient, I have learned to manage it. • I have cameras installed around the perimeter of my home, allowing me to monitor the mower's progress. • I can conveniently monitor and control the mower through the mobile app. • With the mower taking care of the task at hand, I have the freedom to work on other projects around the house. Most recently, I have been able to dig and place mulch in the yard while the mower operates autonomously. • Thanks to my camera system, I can comfortably stay indoors and enjoy watching TV while keeping an eye on the mower's activity outside. • It brings me joy to share that my neighbors admire my mower, and they often stop by to ask questions or even record videos of it in action.

Need a perfect yard for this.
Unfortunately, my yard appears to be a torture test for this kind of mower: Soil too sandy in places to get good traction. Iregular shape. A steep incline. But what killed ot for me was that i have tall trees shading the yard, meaning while i could find locat locations with a strong enough GPS signal to setup the antenna and charging station, i could not get a strong enough signal anywhere to map out the yard. Though even when i brought it to the front yard that is clear with a good veiw of the sky, it still didnt work. That was after the hours of updating firmware. Last thing of note is that since this is rear wheel drive, it has problems pushing itself up the hill sometimes, while in reverse it had no problems pulling itself.

save your $$$$.$$, keep browsing!
bought this thing in spring last year. it works great... about 25% of the time! save yourself the $$$$.$$ and keep browsing. my yard is pretty much wide open without many trees and this thing will get gps signal maybe half of the time. the times it does show a solid blue light, it will get confused as to where exactly to start on the map. it will go forward and then reverse, then spin around in a circle a few times before it repeats the process. i have been able to get it to start mowing by manually controlling from my phone to manually drive it onto the map so it will start the job. the grass does look good when it does actually work but does seem to miss a few spots here and there. i thought it was supposed to use a camera to sense and navigate around any obstacles but just sits there and tells me in the app that it cant go around. i have to manually navigate the mower all the way back to the charging station, not quite sure if i am doing something wrong but does not seem to be reliable.
