It’s okay, but not worth the price. Even on max suction, I have to run it multiple times, and it often leaves parts of the room untouched while still saying the job is complete. The self-emptying is nice, but hair constantly gets tangled in the brushes, and the mop pads still smell even though it’s supposed to wash and dry them. If you don’t mind babysitting it, it might work for you.

This thing gets caught on EVERYTHING. Kept getting stuck mapping house despite clear floors. Eventually mapped 1st floor but now Rarely ever gets through a cleaning cycle without getting stuck. Constantly gets stuck on edges of area rugs (very low ones). Doesnt always return to base. Returning it tomorrow

Had to return it within a week. Hooked onto the Internet fine, the app seemed to work pretty well. It just more or less stopped working. I think it may have been a bad unit? I was pretty excited when I got it and definitely disappointed with the performance and the fact that it didn’t even last a week. The mopping was terrible. The vacuum was OK I guess. Then it just completely stopped. I was unable to connect it to the Internet after resetting it numerous times.

[Employee of bestbuy] This product is way too expensive to not come with every material that you need to plug it in and start cleaning, to not include the cleaning solution pods and extra bags is infuriating to say the least. Returning this one for the shark bagless vacuum that includes the cleaning solution and allows you to use other cleaning solutions that are less expensive.

Returned, couldn’t pair with WiFi! Shouldn’t need a rocket science degree to install for vacuuming home.

We brought two and had to bring them back the first on ran well for a month the second lasted a few hours. they started giving an erroneous error and would stop working.

I will not recommend this product they make this so complicated to connect to the app and internet this is the worse robot vacuum I ever have.

The Ecovacs N30 pro omni robot vacuum and spinning mop does a great job at keeping all of your floors clean. The vacuum comes packaged nicely and has quite a bit of with to it. Once you remove the vacuum and the base from the box make sure that you remove all of the packing material and stickers from the vacuum and base. Once the base is plugged in you can begin the setup process in the ecovacs app. It would be great if a better quick set up guide is included in the box as it can get a little confusing. There is a QR code located under a cover on the top of the vacuum. The instruction manual as well as the app mention a solid floor cleaner that is supposed to go in a special chamber in the tank however it seems as this does not exist. The only thing that comes up on the ecovacs website is a a bottle of a liquid cleaning solution that can be added to the clean water tank. The initial mapping process is fairly quick as it runs through the process in under 10 minutes while creating a map. Once the maps is created you can name the rooms and create areas that you don't want the vacuum to go. You can either have vacuum, vacuum alone, mop alone or do both. The vacuum does a great job picking up dirt as well as mopping up surface dirt with its spinning mop pads. The pads getting cleaned and dried at the mopping station as well. It would have been great to offer a sample of the cleaning solution because it's not like you can just run to the store and pick up a bottle. I also wish the app had a little explanation on the difference between the modes.

This robot vacuum and mop is just amazing. Unboxing and setting this machine up was super easy and quick (which most of the time being spent setting up the app to program it). The first-time mapping is surprisingly quick, and accurate, and just watching it do that indicated right away it's smart and it was accurate with it's movements. It basically went into each room and scanned to get the shape and layout of the room then moved on to the next when it could see it was mapped with no other rooms or hallways to go into. In terms of performance, it's pretty good, the battery life is great and it has plenty of suction that seems to get most dirt and debris up. After checking the rollers for hair, I can see that it looks like it won't tangle but time will tell how much maintenance on the rollers will need to be done to keep them clean. As for the spin mops, wow, this thing really does get right up to the edge and covers easily 98% of your floor and gets them clean. Having used this machine now a few times, I can say there's only two things I'd change. One is the dirty water bin is tricky to hold and empty without getting it on you or splashing it. My advice is don't let it get too full or try to empty it when you know the robot has cleaned and mopped. The second is the fill bin, I don't know why they didn't design it so you could fill it from the top other than perhaps it's intended so you don't spill on the machine and damage it as you're filling it. The only other nit-picky thing I didn't like is that an extra bag, spin brush, pads and a trial floor detergent to sample when setting up your machine were NOT included. I would have thought with being on the top end of machines, that some of that might have been included as a starter kit, but it wasn't. So, if you order this machine be sure to order the floor cleaner and extra bags/parts so you aren't waiting should you need to replace them. Aside to that, I would still absolutely recommend this machine as it really does such a good job cleaning and the high-tech features like cleaning the pads and drying them really takes keeping your floors clean to not only a new level but much more sanitary than other "Swiffer" type mops that just push wet pads around that you have to change. Because of that and despite the nit-picky thing I didn't like I can overlook that because it really just does perform so well. B

First things first, this unit is meant to replace two single purpose robots - a low end iRobot mop and a Shark vacuum only unit. It is used on the main floor which is a combination of engineered hardwood and multiple area rugs. Getting this thing out of the box reminded me of unboxing a small fridge due to weight and size. It was all easy enough to physically setup, but I had hassles getting the app and robot talking. I think maybe I was holding the 2 finger salute to have it engage its own wireless too long. However, after I did get it setup you have a ton of options to peruse. Scheduling was kind of - interesting. Since I don't want the unit mopping on every run, I wanted to schedule just vacuuming via a Scenario. We my Scenario didn't show up until I left that window and went back. I also couldn't find any way to change it from GMT time. Where the Shark was more of a 'bull in a china shop' with its approach to the environment, the Ecovacs is way gentler. We have a tripod lamp that would get bullied by the Shark, while the Ecovacs treats it with respect. The Shark was also not great for any corners, due to its circular design not being taken into account. The 'mopping' portion of the Ecovacs managed to clean some areas I could not even believe. Not having a multifunctional robot before, I'm amazed at how well transitions are handled. It tackles our setup as well as I could expect. The mopping is superior to the iRobot's one straight mop and push everything design. The mops reach out and spin, not leaving any visible marks (not permanent to be clear) and the floor just looks much cleaner than it ever had before (except when I've done it by hand). In regard to using to using Ecovacs' cleaner, it wasn't included and I was told to not use water to clean the floor. So, AGAINST WHAT THE MANUAL SAYS, I am using Bona in the Clean Water tub (which I've seen posts by other owners say they do and it's fine). I haven't seen a downside yet, other than Bona being way more pricey than water obviously... One gripe I have is that I assume someone spending this much on a robot vacuum normally would not care about having to pay for accessories, but vacuum bags is mainly what irks me - every Shark I've had has a detachable cannister you just empty. This feels like a step backward and more into the 'subscription service' realm than I was hoping for at this price point. Really in the end some little things lead to 4/5 instead of 5/5: >Vacuum bags >Not the most intuitive app, including scheduling >Some mild (but potentially severe) setup hassles

When I first got the N30 Pro home, I was excited to see what it could do. This is my first robotic vacuum I've owned. The package included the vacuum unit, a robust auto-cleaning station, mop pads, a water tank, a dustbin, a cleaning brush, and a quick start guide. Setup was straightforward, with clear instructions guiding the initial steps, including connecting to the ECOVACS app. Within minutes, the vacuum was ready to go. Mapping the house was a seamless process. At 1,900 sqft, my home has a mix of open spaces and furniture obstacles, and the N30 PRO navigated it effectively. I did have to move some stray objects out of its path to ensure an accurate map. Impressively, it completed the mapping of the entire home on a single charge. The map appeared on the app, providing options to set zones like “Do Not Enter” and “Do Not Mop.” I designated my computer area as a restricted mopping zone to prevent water mishaps, and the robot adhered perfectly. The vacuuming performance is top-notch. It effectively picked up dust, pet hair, and crumbs from both hardwood floors and carpets, leaving surfaces noticeably clean. The mopping feature, while convenient, is best suited for light cleaning rather than tackling tough stains. The spinning mop pads do a decent job of maintaining a clean look but aren't a substitute for deep scrubbing. The cleaning logs in the app are a helpful addition, providing detailed reports on completed tasks, runtime, and areas covered. This level of transparency ensures I can monitor its efficiency and reassign it to specific areas if needed. In conclusion, the ECOVACS Robotics N30 PRO OMNI is an excellent choice for maintaining a tidy home with minimal effort. Its smart mapping, effective vacuuming, and user-friendly app integration make it a strong contender in the robot cleaning space. While the mopping feature is best for light maintenance, the overall functionality and convenience it brings to daily cleaning routines are impressive.
