We bought these speakers to use with our record player in our little media area. Given the size, it's perfect for a media stand without taking over the entire space. Setup was very easy and straightforward. The instructions only had pictures, no words really, but there isn't much to hook up so it wasn't difficult to follow. There are dials on the side of one of the speakers to adjust volume, bass, and treble. There is also a remote to adjust the volume from a distance. Any tweaks don't take more than a few seconds to take effect and the remote can be used at least a few feet away with direct sight. The speakers themselves sound great with the record player. A very warm sound that overall is pretty balanced. The highs and mids are clear without producing any buzzy sounds. The bass is punchy, but doesn't overpower the rest of the sound and we didn't notice any sound distortion when playing at higher volumes. For the price, these are very good entry level speakers. They'd also work great for a computer if you weren't interested in using them for a record player.

As a college student, I don’t have a ton of room to work with, so everything needs to be really effective and not take up a lot of space. That’s why these speakers are a great choice. They’re pretty small, I can connect both my TV and turntable to them, and they put out great sound. The dials on the side make adjusting the bass, treble, and volume pretty simple. Getting them connected was easy as well and everything you need is in the box. The wood finish is a nice look, and the remote is sleek and easy to use. I downloaded the app as well and it’s pretty straightforward and simple to use as well. Based on the sound quality of these speakers, I’ll be using them for years to come. I’d recommend these to anyone who wants a great pair of speakers that can fit anywhere. I will also say that I literally am terrified of messing up expensive tech like this, but getting it hooked up was super easy!

I love these speakers! I originally had them set up as computer speakers, but after hearing their sound quality, I moved them to my record player setup. I am extremely happy with how loud they can get. They easily fill a medium-sized room and the wooden side gives them a nice upscale look. The speaker grilles are removable and the quality gets even better once you adjust the treble and bass. Setup is a breeze and you can have these speakers up and running in less than 5 min out of the box. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality speakers.

The TV in my kitchen doesn't have the greatest sound since I bought it, and I finally decided to check out some external speakers. They had to be small enough to fit on my shelf in the kitchen. Based on size of the speakers, I bought the Edifier R1380T Bookshelf Speakers. After I got the box open and found the cables I needed (all of which were provided in the box) it took all of about three minutes to get them connected and plugged in. The sound quality is fantastic! I tried watching things from my Fire Stick, my HD antenna, and blu-ray player. Everything sounded really great. It took no time at all to set the treble and bass. Adjusting the volume is easy with the included remote or via the dial on the side of the “active” speaker. The speakers also look great and fit into my kitchen. You don’t really notice them until you start to look for them. I am extremely happy with my purchase!

These speakers have great sound and were dead easy to set up with my U-Turn turntable. The remote has a minimal interface making it simple to mute which is really handy in the office.

I use these speakers for my computer, they are above and beyond what i expected. The sound is so crisp and clear. The set up was very easy as well. Great speakers!

Great speakers for tv or computers. Hard to hook up to older TVs, but work great on the computers and new TV. Sound is wonderful and the speakers are classic looking. Would recommend.

These smaller speakers in the line packs powerful punch. Easy set up too.

Speakers are compact, very well sounding, and easy to connect. We had them up and playing in minutes.

Works perfectly well with my PC and dual monitor setup. Sound is super crisp and loud without needed to be turned up super loud. I live in an apartment with a U-shaped desk and it is loud enough to be heard within the room but also does a good job wof not traveling outside of the room and disturbing neighbors.

I bought these speakers a few weeks ago for my home office, to connect them to my laptop when I'm working from home. The speakers are definitely worth the money. They have a wonderful deep sound where the sounds are very well presented on every frequency of the sound spectrum. The base, in particular, is deep and rich. The esthetics of the speaker, with the wood sides and accent on the front, are well placed and very appealing to the eye.

Really great quality and the brown paneling looks nice with our record player setup. We were hoping to also be able to connect them to the TV, but it either does not connect or we could not figure it out.
