Upgrade your network with this compact eero beacon. Equipped with dual-band Wi-Fi radios and a 700MHz quad-core processor, this unit connects intuitively with your existing eero TrueMesh system. This eero beacon plugs directly into a standard wall outlet and expands coverage into any room in your home for a seamless streaming experience.
A: I too have the eero Pro mesh system. I added two eero beacons to expand coverage to an unattached garage and a patio on the far side of the house. They both work great and were very easy to setup.
A: This is just a beacon. You will need the whole EERO system. Do have the system
Q: I have the eero dual mesh system 3 pack can I use this to extend
A: Yes you can.
Q: Is this all I need to extend wifi in my long 2500 ft house?
A: No, you need the Eero base. The beacons are add-one to keep extending the wifi for as far as you need. The more beacons, the more coverage.
Q: Does the beacon have a CAT-x output?
A: No. The beacon does not have an Ethernet connection. Its function is to extend the range of the base eero system. If you need Ethernet, get the main eero base. it has two Ethernet ports.
A: Yes, all eeros will work together. I have the eero and I added beacon. You can use the eero app to add any eero device to your network. All the dead spots are gone. The beacon works real good.
Q: Do I need to buy wi fi from a provider
A: No, but you do need internet service from a provider, which feeds an EERO base station. Then, the BEACON will EXTEND the WiFi signal created by the EERO. One would start with an internet service and modem, plugged into an EERO. Then, you could add BEACON's as needed to extend that WiFi signal.
