We added this to our month old eero 7 pro system inside the house with wireless backhaul. Network speeds outside have jumped, but the network coverage around the corner of the house just drops off to nothing while trying to determine the the end of the wifi zone. Overall for the desired coverage area on our patio bar and pool area the device is perfect.

We added two of these Eero exterior routers to our existing Eero indoor system. They are wired as access points and they have a strong, steady WiFi signal up and down. All of our external devices are working perfectly and when I'm outside in our birdcage with my iPad or MacBook computer the speed is equal to our indoor WiFi.

This is a great weather-proof Wi-Fi access point. I set this up on the side of an office building so the mechanics can get Wi-Fi out in the Maintenace area outside to use their laptops to diagnose the engines! Great coverage and easy to setup with the App.

This thing is incredible! I am beaming WiFi over a 3 acre spread and still get WiFi service. I have over 1tb of speed and it’s 200 feet away from my main Eero WiFi router. Eero is just an incredible product and extremely easy to use at it’s maximum potential

I love the outdoor extender. I listen to audiobooks and music while I'm outdoors working in my gardens.

Works perfectly! Fixed all connection issues outside the house and in my garage at the farthest point away from house. In this area the house and outside are full of dead spots. Wifi just did not work. If it did it would drop. Phones performed poorly, let alone a PC. Now I have an excellent signal as far as I can walk out to the farthest outer edges of my property. Super easy to mount and get working.

Perfect for extending wi-fi to our pool and dock area. Easy install and works perfectly. Great addition to my existing EERO network.

Excellent coverage and I have a house with concrete walls. I switched from Netgear Orbi WiFi 5 units and needed 5 of them for good coverage and had problems with dropping connections often. With these, 3 units provide excellent coverage and the speeds are fantastic average 150-180 Mbps WiFi downloads. Also have the Outdoor Eero 7 and it works great. The app is really good and install was super easy.

We added this to our system to be able to have the signal reach our barns. All our cameras are working great. We raise meat goats and we need the cameras during kidding season so we don’t have to spend the night in the barn. Our monthly cost for internet is half what we were paying before Starlink.

I have a 6 node system in a rambling two story farmhouse. I wanted to get service to my riding arena (200 ft by 100 ft) which is 100 feet from the house. I just set it up about 8 feet from the ground and near to my back door and I'm getting pretty decent service all around the arena now. Also, other places in the house are able to push wireless further both inside and outside the house. This is very much worth the investment and it's delivering much more than advertised when I researched the capabilities.

Easy set up and great range. There is only 1 Ethernet port, so you need decide if you are going to run power only and connect to another EERO product or POE with data. If you are running a Ethernet cable to it, you need Power Over Ethernet, or an injector to give you POE. If you need the power cord, make suer it is included.

The outdoor eero is easy to set up in the Internet, reaches all the way to my gate at the edge of the property.

I already own eero product so I was not surprised how easy it was to setup and connect. Great coverage for when I’m outside enjoying warm days and having a fire streaming music and podcasts

Outstanding product. It covers outside which is over an acre of open space. Hung a blink camera on my pole barn which is about 100 yards away and has outstanding connection.

This is probably the best product I could’ve hoped for, applying it to my backyard I hooked up a full acre of land with full WiFi coverage! Super happy with it, and will be using for aslong as they keep it coming!

Connects most of my Ring devices. I have a few Ring devices in my two sheds that keep coming offline. Have to figure out the issue.

Hello MaryE! Thank you for your feedback on the eero Outdoor 7. We're glad to hear it's successfully connecting most of your Ring devices; that's exactly what the eero Outdoor 7 is designed to do, extending reliable WiFi coverage to outdoor areas and outbuildings.
Regarding the Ring devices in your two sheds that keep dropping offline, this is a common challenge that typically stems from signal strength or environmental factors. Here are several troubleshooting steps that should help resolve the connectivity issues:
First, check the placement of your eero Outdoor 7 unit. For optimal coverage to detached structures like sheds, the unit should be mounted in a location with a clear line of sight to those buildings. Walls, dense foliage, and metal siding on sheds can all weaken the signal before it reaches your Ring devices.
Second, verify the signal strength to your sheds by checking the eero app. If the Ring devices are showing weak connections, you may benefit from repositioning the Outdoor 7 closer to a midpoint between your home and the sheds, or mounting it at a higher elevation where signals can travel with fewer obstructions.
Third, consider the shed construction materials. Metal-sided or metal-roofed sheds can significantly block WiFi signals from penetrating inside. If this is the case, positioning the eero Outdoor 7 so its signal enters through a window or door opening can make a meaningful difference.
Finally, ensure your Ring devices have the latest firmware by checking the Ring app; outdated firmware can occasionally cause intermittent connectivity drops.
If this information doesn’t resolve your issue, call eero customer service at (877) 659-2347. They’re available 7 days a week from 6am PT to 8pm PT. I hope this helps. Have a great day!
