I am 3 years in now with the eero echo-system and have been quite happy with their equipment. For this one, I needed two ports that were 5 Gig each throughput - not the 6 Pro provided by Frontier - 2.5 Gig and 1 Gig on the 6 Pro. I needed both to be at least 2.5 Gig throughput for my needs - so I relegated the one Frontier provided to me to another part of the house. Anyway, I have this directly wired to the ONT from Frontier (optical network terminal) on to a QNAP 10 Gig switch with Cat 6A cable and it works flawlessly. Plug and play is never easier with the eero system. I wish that I could have the 7 Max throughout the house, but overkill for now and quite expensive equipment. I have more than enough bandwidth to handle up to 40 streaming devices in 4K simultaneously - way more than enough bandwidth and equipment. Quite happy and I actually love buying from my local Best Buy. It's nice to walk in and have a helpful person approach me with assistance.

Beyond Words - Absolutely Amazing to say the least! You put one by your Internet modem and plug 3 foot Ethernet wire in to new eero. Set the other 2 evenly in the house for best coverage. In my case, I put one in my office next to my computer. Then I ran another 3 foot Ethernet cable from my computer to my eero. On my old WiFi I was getting around 260 Now I’m getting over 1222mbps. This is insane, I wish I had done this long time ago!

Great product. I love being able to put it in a hidden area and the same with the other 2 devices so my whole house is covered. I would give it a 5 out of 5 except for 2 things. (1) It requires a subscription for what I would say should be built in for wifi and profile management. (2) I had a hard time with some devices until I found hidden in the explanation a way to shut off everything but the 2.4GHZ to get the devices connected.

Hello Ambrockmeier. Thank you for providing feedback about your experience with the eero Pro 7 mesh system! We appreciate your candid feedback on the two areas where the experience fell short of a perfect score. Regarding the subscription for advanced WiFi and profile management features, we understand the desire to have those tools included out of the box, and your feedback is valuable as we continue to evaluate how to deliver the best experience for our customers. It's worth noting that the core eero system provides robust, secure WiFi coverage without a subscription. Features like network encryption, automatic updates, and the ability to manage your network through the eero app are all included at no additional cost. The eero Plus subscription adds enhanced security layers, parental controls, and additional network insights for those who want them. Should you have additional 2.4 GHz devices to connect, You can use the eero app to temporarily pause the 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands while you get your 2.4 GHz devices connected. Open the eero app and tap “Settings” at the bottom of the home screen. Tap “troubleshooting” towards the bottom of the settings screen. Tap ”My device won’t connect.” Tap “Pause 5 GHz and 6 GHz." This will pause the 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands for 15 minutes while you get your 2.4 GHz devices setup. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, please reach out directly to eero customer support at (877) 659-2347. I hope this helps. Have a great day!

lSo I purchased a 3-pack eero Pro 7 Tri-band Mesh Wi-fi 7 System. And, it doesn’t come with a wall mount so I recommend buying one to help with Wi-fi range. I waited several weeks before I decided to leave this product review bc I wanted to test the signal strength during cloudy days and rainy days, and it still operated with full bars. So signal was not interrupted at all whatsoever. I know it says the Wi-fi range is 6,000 square feet but the way I set up mine it still covered 12.7k of square footage. The way I had it done was in this mesh (circumference) I had 2 of these products installed on opposite ends at approximately 127 feet apart and set 1 product near the middle to strengthen the mesh. This product outperformed my expectations so if I could I’d give it a 10 star out of 5

These erros boosters are terrific and really help for fast streaming on tv's and zoom calls. Need this extra boost because so many electronics are connected to our Wffi.

[Employee of bestbuy] This product was a signficant upgrade from my eero 6e 3 pack. However, this product signal strength is significantly weaker in further parts of a 1200 sqft apartment.

After years of dealing with dead spots, dropped connections, and routers that needed constant attention, I finally upgraded to the Eero Pro 7 3-Pack, and the difference has been nothing short of amazing. Setup was incredibly simple. Within minutes, all three units were online and providing seamless coverage throughout my entire home. The Eero app walked me through every step, making the installation process virtually effortless. The performance has been outstanding. I now get fast, reliable Wi-Fi in every room, including areas that previously struggled to maintain a connection. Streaming 4K content, video conferencing, online gaming, and supporting dozens of smart home devices all happen simultaneously without any noticeable slowdown. What impressed me most is the consistency. Unlike previous mesh systems I've owned, devices transition between nodes seamlessly, and I never have to think about which access point I'm connected to. Everything just works. The coverage is exceptional. The 3-pack easily blankets my entire property with strong signal strength, eliminating every dead zone I previously had. Speeds remain fast even at the farthest corners of the house. I also appreciate the clean, modern design. The units blend into the home without looking like bulky networking equipment. They're compact, attractive, and easy to place wherever coverage is needed. For anyone with a larger home, multiple users, smart home devices, or simply a desire for rock-solid Wi-Fi, the Eero Pro 7 is worth every penny. It's one of those rare technology purchases that immediately delivers on its promises and makes everyday life better. Bottom line: Fast, reliable, easy to manage, and incredibly powerful. The Eero Pro 7 3-Pack is hands down the best home networking system I've ever owned.

We installed Eero Home Wi-Fi routers throughout our house, and the performance has been outstanding. The connectivity is rock-solid from the far back corner of the house all the way to the front—where both our Rivian and Tesla stay connected without any drops. Even our detached guest suite has strong, reliable signal. Setup was simple, coverage is seamless, and we no longer deal with dead zones or buffering. Overall, it’s an amazing product that delivers exactly what it promises. Highly recommended for larger homes or anyone who needs consistent, whole-property Wi-Fi coverage.

App is super easy to use, easy to set up and manage the eero devices. I came from netgear products and this user interface is better. Good speeds, good coverage, very happy with product. Would highly recommend.

The eero Pro 7 has been an outstanding upgrade for us—fast, seamless, and incredibly reliable. Setup took only minutes, the app walks you through everything effortlessly, and the whole system feels polished and thoughtfully designed. Performance has exceeded expectations. Tri-band Wi-Fi 7 delivers consistent, blazing-fast speeds throughout the entire house, and device handoffs between nodes are so smooth you don’t even notice them. Every dead zone we used to fight with is simply gone. Streaming, gaming, smart-home devices—it all just works. And honestly, we couldn’t be happier with it. The stability, coverage, and ease of use have been such a relief. In short: the eero Pro 7 has made our Wi-Fi faster, cleaner, and completely stress-free—and we’re thrilled with the upgrade.

[Employee of bestbuy] I first started with EERO when the five series came out. It was excellent, and the coverage was great. But i preferred 2.5GbE for local data transfers between devices. I upgraded… or so I thought… to the 6E, and they were a downgrade in many ways. Range was substantially lower, and I had a lot of dropouts throughout the day, making teleconferences finnicky and unreliable. These wifi 7 models are excellent. Switching over was a breeze, and they are blazing fast. One of my favorite features about mesh systems is the wireless backhaul leaf creating a wireless connection that still physically connects to the Eero network. 0 packet loss on the new Wifi 7 compared to moments of 50-100% packet loss on the 6E within rated range. The only downsides thus far is that the the subscription locks a lot of features behind a paywall of $10/month, even some of the most basic statistics. Additionally, there are only two ports on each unit. I’m not taking a star away because I knew the subscription was an existing detriment to all eero setups overall prior to pirchase. As for the ports, having only 2 ethernet posts can easily be mitigated with a 2.5GbE ethernet switch for less than $100. They likely did this to persuade users to upgrade to the pro seven…. For $1500. If you plan on plugging in more than one device to the gateway, you need to buy a switch, so keep that in mind when you budget. Another bonus that most people may have missed is that the previous Eero models only had a one year warranty. The new Wi-Fi seven models have a three-year warranty now so kudos to that. Even if you don’t have any Wi-Fi seven enabled devices, which I don’t, I would still recommend this set hands down. Newer Wi-Fi adapters will have “multi-link operation” which is fully supported on this. It will theoretically allow you to connect to the 2.4 GHz and/or 5 GHz networks simultaneously for better reliability and speeds.

Eero pro 7 is easy to setup. What I really like is the coverage provided by the router. The application eero uses makes navigating features, subscriptions, and advanced modifications in the setting streamlined. The only downside is that the router has a port glitch that does not allow users to access the 5 gig speed this is a known issue online. Since I live in the basement of the house I was able to manage to get 1 gig speed from my sonic internet.
