Tech was on time and knowledgeable. The microwave age is beyond the one year period. The problem has been intermittent so hard to diagnose. Changed some suspected parts and it was running well when he left. Now about 30 days later it has quit again after making a loud snapping noise. I’ll call for service again.

I had a issue with my dishwasher. I called and set up an appointment. They came out as scheduled. They technician was friendly and professional. After a short time he had diagnosed the problem. Which it was simple. Adjust the placement of the drain hose. My only wish was that he could have made the repair since it was so simple, but he told me that store policy prevents them from making repairs.

scheduled a Geek Squad in-home appointment to diagnose an electric range that had stopped working. The technician inspected both the range and my subpanel and told me the range itself was likely faulty. I was quoted roughly $400 for a repair that might not solve the issue and was advised it would be in my best interest to purchase a new range instead. Based on that recommendation, I purchased a new range from Best Buy. When the new unit was delivered and installed, it also did not work. After further checking, I discovered the subpanel breaker had tripped. Once I reset the breaker, the new range worked immediately. I then reconnected the original range — and it worked perfectly as well. This means the original issue was a simple electrical breaker problem, not a faulty appliance, despite the technician inspecting the subpanel during the service visit. As a result, I was convinced to purchase a new range unnecessarily. I have since contacted support but have not received a follow-up. I expected a more thorough diagnosis from a paid in-home service. At minimum, basic electrical checks like confirming breaker status should be part of the troubleshooting process before recommending a costly replacement.

The repairman was honest and professional. He thought it was a part and ended up being a clogged hose.

Nice tech, but expensive and useless. The diagnostic fee doesn't go toward the repair cost. I guess it depends on what the problem is to know if it's worth it...

I am not quite sure what this review was about when requested from Best Buy.
