Works great with the HD60 S & PS4 but you have to change your settings on the HD60 S to Analog for it to work properly. There are videos on YouTube. Watch them before you set up.

Solved my chat problem when I stream. Now I can hear me, the game and my friends. Love Elgato products!

So I just bought the chat link cable as a replacement for my previous one. I have the elgato HD60 along with Xbox One S. With the recent updates Microsoft has pushed out to the Xbox, there is no longer any need for separate mics if you're looking to record your party chat participants along with your own voice. It's now all captured with my headset using this chat link cable. I also picked up the Aukey Ground Loop Noise Isolator as another reviewer pointed out. I have both the chat link and Aukey connected up between my headset, controller and elgato and so far audio recording is perfect. I plan to put my old cable inline again, this time using the Aukey, just to see if that solves my issue with static and echo that I was previously experiencing which prompted me to purchase this replacement chat link cable. As another reviewer noted, the cable comes in a package that only references PS4, but don't worry, it definitely works with Xbox (at least my Xbox One S and Elite controller). If the Aukey solves the static/echo issue with my old cable, then I will say this combo is the way to go (chat link cable + Aukey). Otherwise, the only concern is the chat link cable quality and how it holds up over time (or doesn't). I'll try to post an update regarding my old cable test with the Aukey once tried.

Simply put it works. My only problem is my voice comes in pretty low and so does the game's audio. But if you're only alternative is a headset for voice audio over your gameplay I'd say definitely give it a shot. The price is definitely not going to break the bank and my voice did come through pretty clear.

bought this maybe 3 months ago. And already need a new one.. nothing seems to look wrong but once plugged in after having it for 2 months it gives a lot of frequency once u plug into controller. Judt bought a new mic cux I thought that was the problem but nope. Just the cord. Debating on buying a new one or a pc judt so I dont have to go thru the trouble of buying a new one in another 2 months...

Replacement for my original because the wires clearly had a short in them and it works amazing ! (I have a Xbox btw) no echo no complaints

Works as intended. Would be nice if it came with an additional cable for that female end too for non-pc players. I use with my ps4 & ps5 controllers and link other to a tablet to run discord. Works well.

Simple and Easy to use a plug and play type of cord

It’s a good cable if you want to listen to your Xbox and discord on your pc on the same headphone. There’s some static if the cable is moved sometimes.

I’ve read other comments about how bad this cable is and what not but I hooked everything properly how it’s supposed to be routed and everything works flawlessly. No static at all. Great product to pair up with all the other el gato accessories. If you don’t know how to set it up or how to route the cables I suggest watching the el gato chat link video from el gato on YouTube.

This thing just works. If you want to livestream from an Elgato device with a Playstation, you need this. If you have an Xbox, you are good without it

Okay product, does what it needs to but sometimes there can be minor issues like a slight ringing noise but it goes away.

This is great. Very long cord so no worrying about your capture card being too far. And if you order this and plug this in while you have your controller plugged in there will be buzzing. You must unplug the controller while playing so you get no buzzing noises

Works great for the price. Would recommend suggesting to purchase this when buying an elgato.

This does the job by splitting your audio if you're trying to stream it like I was. The audio is not the best and has crackles so I had to go a different route when trying to use audio from my headphones.
