I've had this mic arm for about 2 month now and i cant say how much i love it. The quality is amazing and the sleek design really seals the deal for me. If there was one thing a could change i would change the size of the socket that holds the arm up to be just a little larger so it has a nice snug fit. Over all this is a great mic arm would highly recommend

Amazing mic arm. The build quality is robust, the mic arm sturdy and keeps my mic up. The biggest advantage is being able to move it under my monitor.

As far as "something to hold a microphone up" goes, this arm is exquisitely intuitively designed, and by that I mean: - The Arm SECURES to your surface, nice and snug. - The chord CAN be hidden within the arm itself using easy magnetic covers. - It is undervalued in that the price will be a non-issue once you get your hands on this product.

I don’t usually write reviews, but the Elgato Wave LP really deserves one. This mic arm has been perfect for my setup. From the build quality to the low-profile design, it’s everything I’ve been looking for. I’ve tried a few mic holders in the past, and this one has worked better than all of them combined. It’s sturdy, smooth, and stays exactly where I position it. It doesn’t block my monitor or my line of sight, which is huge. Honestly, I don’t think I’ll be buying another mic arm any time soon, this one’s a keeper. If you’re unsure about investing in one, go for it. It’s totally worth the money.

Really good, for my setup it does the job, it has hidden magnetic compartments for cable management, and the clamp is very tight as well, doesn’t interfere with monitor visibility.

Using this arm frees up needed desk space and still allows me to adjust and point my microphone where I need it to be. Toolless installation was a breeze and took only 5 minutes. The inclusion of cable channels in the arm hides the long mic cable and a welcome addition for cable management,

Very smooth movement and super easy to put together.

Great boom arm that I would recommend. Sturdy easy movement. Some plastic parts that are not so great for tightening movement overall it’s a good product that serves it purpose

Being able to control and not having to hold your mic is a complete game changer! The arm really allows you to free up and utilize more of your space for your set ups!

The Elgato Wave Arm LP has honestly been one of the best upgrades to my setup. The low-profile design is perfect because it sits under my monitors and never blocks my view, and the all-metal build feels really solid. I love the magnetic cable-management channels—they make the whole arm look super clean. It has great range and rotates smoothly, so positioning my mic exactly where I want it is easy. It holds my mic well, but I’ve noticed heavier mics can make it sag a bit if you don’t tighten it enough. The desk clamp feels sturdy, though I’ve seen people mention it can wear over time. Overall, it’s a really clean, premium-feeling mic arm that looks great on the desk and works exactly how I need it to, as long as you’re not using a super heavy mic.

The arm is very sturdy, and it clamps on perfectly to wherever it needs to be on my desk, being capable of maneuvering around my monitor however I need it to be, and I can fold it up whenever I'm not using it.

The low profile is perfect for using in front of the gaming monitor. It articulate very well so you can position it for use or tuck it away when you do not need it

I LOVE THIS BOOM! It’s clean, easy to move, has good cable management and is amazing quality. Yes it’s a bit up there in price then others, but it’s worth it!

This arm works perfectly for independent microphone setups sitting just under you primary monitor or however your setup is. Definitely a good pickup for people trying to clean up their devices and cable management.

It's freaking great. I lilke that's it's low profile and that the cables can be run through the arms. Makes my desktop look clean. Definitely recommend.

Awesome mic arm! I was deciding between this and the RODE PSA 1 and glad I chose this. The wire management is great and is able to hold up my RODE PODMIC perfectly even with it being a 2lb mic. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a boom arm

I purchased this mic arm to use for my mirrorless camera. I also have the Elgato Prompter and needed a good option for using it on my desk. I usually use a tripod, but when I'm sitting at my desk I needed a better option. I tried a cheapo mic arm, but when not in use it is in a very awkward position. The Elgato Wave Mic Arm LP, however is compact to not bump into all the time. The configurability of the arm is excellent, allowing all sorts of positions to be locked in. I like that there are channels for stashing the cables. Even the "ratcheting" handle on the desk clamp shows attention to detail. All in all, a well thought out design with good execution, you can really see that this is a premium product compared to the bargain option.

Great boom arm, what I like about this one over the others is how wide the mounting hardware is. It’s a lot more rigid than other ones I purchased on Amazon, those tended to sag with the weight of the microphone . I’m using the rode podmic and it’s a pretty heavy dude this arm handles it with no problems

The build quality is amazing nothing bad to say about the overall product but the grips underneath the clamp suck unfortunately, they came off after a couple months which is kinda disappointing thats the only reason its not 5 stars.

Thanks for the kind words on the build quality. Wave Mic Arm LP comes with a 2-year warranty, so if the clamp grips came loose within that window, reach out to our support team at elgato.com/support and we'll look into it for you.
