I’ve been using this Elgato microphone arm for a while, and it’s been excellent. The build quality feels premium, it’s very sturdy, and it holds my microphone securely without sagging. The movement is incredibly smooth, making it easy to position exactly where I need it and move it out of the way when I’m done. Cable management is also well designed, giving my desk a much cleaner look. Installation was straightforward, and everything feels solid and durable. If you’re looking for a high-quality microphone arm for streaming, gaming, podcasting, or video calls, I highly recommend this one.

The Wave Arm That Makes Wires Disappear I wasn't expecting a mic arm to have this much magician energy. One minute, there's a cable hanging around like it pays rent. The next, it's tucked inside the arm like it entered witness protection. This wave arm is made for streaming, recording, gaming, podcasts, or anyone who wants their microphone floating nearby without turning their desk into a spaghetti festival. The best part is the hidden cable system. It has magnetic plates along the arm that lift off easily, giving you room to place the wire inside. Then you put the plates back on, and voilà: the cable disappears like it just heard someone mention chores. The arm keeps your mic positioned where you need it while helping your setup look much cleaner. No loose wire dangling everywhere, no cable doing interpretive dance in front of your camera, and no accidental desk jungle. The magnetic plates are especially handy because they make cable management simple without requiring a toolbox, a degree in engineering, or a motivational speech. Mic arm on the outside. Hidden wire inside. Magnetic plates holding the secret together. Visible cable chaos? X Desk spaghetti? X Clean streaming setup? Absolutely. Overall, this is a great mic arm for streaming and recording. It keeps your microphone within reach, makes positioning easy, and hides the wire so your setup looks much more polished. Now excuse me while I adjust my mic and pretend I’m hosting a professional broadcast instead of talking to my friends while wearing pajama pants. Also, the mix is the Logitech YetiGX.

The material itself is this hard almost metal like plastic with metal pieces that are detachable to conceal the cord of the microphone youd be using. Theres three adjustable pieces to pivot, raise, and angle the microphone to your needs. Im able to quickly adjust it when two people are using it by quickly untightening a notch and retightening it afterwards. In the photos provided youll see it is simply a clamp that you tighten to your desk and the different joints you can adjust with the microphone at the end. Theres also different connective pieces for most microphones but make sure yours will fit.

Awesome truly remarkable the ease of use and setup ready to go with great cable management flexible design and build quality is top-notch

I've had this mic arm for about 2 month now and i cant say how much i love it. The quality is amazing and the sleek design really seals the deal for me. If there was one thing a could change i would change the size of the socket that holds the arm up to be just a little larger so it has a nice snug fit. Over all this is a great mic arm would highly recommend

Picked up the Elgato Wave Mic Arm LP to solve a specific problem: I wanted broadcast-arm convenience without the height of a traditional boom arm hanging over my monitor setup. It nails that brief. The "LP" (low profile) design is the whole selling point, and it works. The arm stays close to desk level through its range of motion instead of arcing up high, so it doesn't creep into your webcam frame or crowd a multi-monitor setup. Build quality is on par with Elgato's standard Wave arm: solid desk clamp, smooth but firm joints that hold their position under the mic's weight, and internal channel cable routing so you're not looking at a mess of cable from clamp to mic. Standard threading means it's not locked to Elgato mics either. Works with most standard shock mounts. If your desk setup is tight on vertical space or you just don't want a mic arm dominating the shot, this is the one to get over the standard-height version.

I needed a lower profile mic stand for my desk set up. It's easy to use and way more adjustable than the cheap ones on amazon. It does sit a little low to the desk so I added a thick wooden block in between to raise it a bit. Obligatory Wubby7

As far as "something to hold a microphone up" goes, this arm is exquisitely intuitively designed, and by that I mean: - The Arm SECURES to your surface, nice and snug. - The chord CAN be hidden within the arm itself using easy magnetic covers. - It is undervalued in that the price will be a non-issue once you get your hands on this product.

Absolutely, amazing mic arm! It’s super strudy and adjustable. In addition, the design of the cable management is so cool with the magnetic panels. I highly recommend it.

Have used for about a month. I’m very pleased with this boom arm. The low profile is exactly what I was hoping for! Good quality, moves easily, good tolerances. 10/10 will buy another if this one ever breaks(doubtful it will)

[Employee of bestbuy] Amazing mic arm. The build quality is robust, the mic arm sturdy and keeps my mic up. The biggest advantage is being able to move it under my monitor.

I have been looking all over for a decent microphone arm that would go over the Monitor but couldn't find anything cheap and usable. Then I saw this product and it dawned on me that an arm UNDER the monitor would work perfectly. Installation was easy, it supports my Samson mic and when I'm not using it, I can just swivel it away. It doesn't get in the way of my mouse and keyboard either. This has improved my experience by a lot. Also, for the money you pay for this, it is quality! Nothing feels or looks cheap, including the magnetic cable management cover plates.

I don’t usually write reviews, but the Elgato Wave LP really deserves one. This mic arm has been perfect for my setup. From the build quality to the low-profile design, it’s everything I’ve been looking for. I’ve tried a few mic holders in the past, and this one has worked better than all of them combined. It’s sturdy, smooth, and stays exactly where I position it. It doesn’t block my monitor or my line of sight, which is huge. Honestly, I don’t think I’ll be buying another mic arm any time soon, this one’s a keeper. If you’re unsure about investing in one, go for it. It’s totally worth the money.

[Employee of bestbuy] I have been using a bulky cast iron base drum mic arm for the last 2 years. I decided to give this a try over some other styles and am happy i did. Easy to move the mic out of the way if needed and being low profile, I have full view of my monitors and keyboard. The tightening handle also cimes in use as a hanger for my headset.

[Employee of bestbuy] Really good, for my setup it does the job, it has hidden magnetic compartments for cable management, and the clamp is very tight as well, doesn’t interfere with monitor visibility.

it is pretty solid microphone arm and it looks good. You can use it either 2 section arm. Or just one section ,adjustability is good. Made my setups look super clean.

[Employee of bestbuy] This arm is ideal for people who don't have a lot of room to work with. It's adjustable so I have plenty of space to put my arm under it for keyboard access, and tucks away nicely when I am not using it. It also comes with some adapters so it can work with a bunch of different mics.

Dont get me wrong this product is great it has everything you would want and need. Simple design, easy construction, easy use. But one thing i didn’t think about is how low this thing actually sits. If you’re looking for a boom arm to use while gaming get the other elgato boom arm. The LP is like right in the way of your arm wheh trying to use the keyboard. Where this arm shines is on controller gaming and or a podcast. Im conclusion dont buy this if you’re 24/7 pc gaming, but if you are starting a podcast or just play console games this is a 100% buy

I love this boom stand, its very sturdy (solid metal) , very fluid and easily adjusted and hides the cables as well. I didnt think id appreciate it over my 30 dollar one by much but i was wrong. If you want to only buy one mic boom arm ever, this is it.
