I saw the reviews and I bought this on sale and thought it would be great! And it was... it cooked perfectly and it's huge, but when I wiped it down after cooking the writing smudged off and the word "Low" rubbed off completely and the warning now says "HOT SURFA" and I've only used it once.. As good as it is to cook with, I'd rather not waste money on something that after a few uses I won't remember which setting is which. Hopefully this doesn't happen to other people, because this really is a great cooker!

We use this crock pot at least twice a week. It cooks very well and it holds enough to feed the whole family. We do a lot of soups and peas and beans. It cooks enough that a lot of times we have enough to put in the freezer for a latter day. Use it every Sunday to cook a meal while we are at church. Love it.

I broke my bigger crockpot so this was to replace it. This is a lot bigger than I really needed. But it will be GREAT for large roasts etc. It is quite heavy but I like the features and easy cleaning . Highly recommend especially if you cook big roasts and meals.

such a great, large crock pot. big enough for pounds and pounds of meat. cooks evenly and perfectly. the only drawback? I wish the lid could be held on by latches. Not for travelling, how often would I do that? but for bumping and spilling. Either way, it's a GREAT crock pot

great slow cooker,best price for the money.really like the way the lid can clamp on so if you have food you have to take some were it wont spill.

This slow cooker has a large interior that holds plenty of food at one time, cooks food perfectly, and cleans easily.

This was the biggest crock pot I could find. The price was very reasonable and it looked as pictured !

I had slow cooker in the past but something was missing (indicator light) but with this one I'm very happy

Best crock pot i've ever used!! It is huge for one thing. Cooks racks of ribs whole.I'm serious. Try this one. It's a doozy!!!!

Very nice crock pot slow cooker. It is big enought to make a very large meal. I would recommend this item for anyone looking for a crock pot.

This generously sized slow cooker works very well. It is simple and very easy to use with the turn of a knob. This is perfect of those large gatherings and looks festive too. The design is taller which adds depth not a larger foot print.

i was not sure about the name brand "Elite".....but so far, it done exactly what i need with much more capacity than i had been using before.

I have a big family so i went with 8quart big enough for 2 decent sized roast makes cook easy turn on and let it do its thing roast came out tender and juicy with in a few hours love my crock pot would recommend

We purchased this due to it's size, 8.5 quart, and love the amount of food we can cook. The heating works fine and we are happy with the cooker for the price. The only two things I would like to change are the lid, which is not very sturdy, and the temperature setting labels, which are hard to see with the red background.

Purchased to replace. Every kitchen should have one, this one is used for spaghetti sauce.

I was very impressed with this product. I never cooked with a slow cooker, it was great!

Had enough room to make a large meal. Worked like a slow cooker should. Was a little harder to clean. Took more scrubbing than l expected hence the 4 stars.

i wanted a larger slow cooker and got this 8.5qt size and it's working great. I notice that it heats up much faster than my other smaller slow cookers but very pleased with it so far
