I was given a gift card by my husband for my birthday - other wise there is no way I would have spent that kind of money on storage for my jewelry making supplies. The money should be invested in the MATERIALS I use to make my jewelry, not room & board in a ritzy hotel for them. All in all it is a good storage system - but it is extremely limited as to what you can store in them - since the storage boxes are the size of my thumb. They will be used to store the very expensive, very small items such as Swarovski crystal beads, scrimps, pearls and gold & silver items, that are very expensive and also hard to store because of their small size and how easily they are lost or dropped and playing 52 Pick Up. I do like them for the purpose I have applied them to and found 2 more of them for sale, at a greatly reduced price. I guess someone else also bought them, or was given them and found them too small for her beads - most of us "Beaders" buy our supplies in BUL, to get the lowest price we can, on the necessities we use most of. Where a beginner or hobbyist would buy a 7" strand (strictly what they need for the project they are working on) a jewelry maker who makes jewelry with the intention to sell would buy a GROSS of something, and buy it wholesale with our tax exempt license. The jars are very difficult to get into the first time - I broke a fingernail and my finger were torn up, the cover is not very secure - the latch system could be better. I do like the top (cover) for putting small items on and having them coralled (and not all over the table, and then all over the floor). I am needing to do a major overhaul of my craft room/office/packing zone/storage area and this will not be a system I will be able to afford to stock my shelves with, I wouldn't be able to afford the parts to make my jewelry. I'm sure there are other systems out there more cost effective that can do the same function. Like empty tic tac boxes and a tupperware container to store them.

These containers are great for storing small beads and diamond painting drills. They close securely and the tray is perfect for seeing what you have and for stacking.
