I like every aspect of this computer. The solid state drive opens everything in a few seconds. I like the fact that there is no moving parts so no fan noises. Battery life is average to good. Wi-fi seems to work well. Movies and downloads come in clear and no reloading. I like touch screen and back lit key board too. Overall great price for this unit.

I am a preschool teacher who also owns a small business and was using my phone for everything. After careful consideration I chose this computer and it does everything that an Apple product would for much less! It folds over and can be used as a tablet, making it easy to write on, take notes, draw. The speakers are great! The screen super clear. Comes with a camera for video and photos. I purchased a disc Drive seperate because that's the only thing missing and I do still like to burn CDs so that was a must for me. Otherwise I am extremely happy with this!

The 2 in 1 has high speed and is easy to use the touch screen. The larger size screen is perfect for me when I work with my clients, who are often older and appreciate the larger display.

Purchased two days ago, arrived yesterday, and so this review is NOT based on longevity, but on features, build quality, and overall feel. Build quality out of the box is good. Body is aluminum and has a nice MacBook (I have an older Mac Air) feel to it. Not much flex when typing (I'm using it for this review), chiclet keys have a good feel to them, and not too cramped, which I like. Back-lit keys are a necessity for me (once you've had them, you never want one without) and this has silver keys with a white backlight. Very clean look. Screen looks great, full HD 1080p, which on a 15" screen is perfect (4k just seems like overkill on a small screen). Boots FAST, shuts down fast, of course with a solid state hard drive (the future of all computers) no hard drive bottleneck. Fingerprint scanner (on right side near the "-" button works most of the time, but honestly, putting in a 4 digit pin is just about as fast. BIG touchpad, with great response. And finally, HP did it right with the Intel i5 and i7 (not Ryzen) models, room to expand. Yes, just pop the bottom cover off, and "voila!", you have a spare hard drive bay, and guess what, they installed a single 8GB stick of ram and left the other ram slot empty, so no ditching your existing ram to upgrade. Just purchase another 8GB stick of DDR4 laptop ram and pop it in, 16GB. One downside is the empty hard drive bay does not have the cable you need to go from hard drive to motherboard, and I'm still not sure where to get it. If you find one post below and let me know. Okay, that's it...with 18 months same as cash, this is a great laptop. Sell your old one on eBay! Hope this helps. :)

I had to buy a new computer in a hurry because my daughter had borrowed mine and failed to return it, and, as a writer, I cannot be without my computer for very long. I was not a happy camper, because I do not like to make major purchases such as this in a rush. I went into the store, and after looking around briefly, was approached by a salesman. I explained what I was looking for and needed, and he highly recommended the HP Envy that I ended up purchasing. He walked me through everything with the purchase, then handed me over to one of the tech guys, who set everything up for me. Before I knew it, I was headed home and was able to get back to business as soon as I arrived. The easiest major purchase I've ever made, and so far no problems whatsoever. Both the sales person and the tech guy explained everything so thoroughly I've had no issues or questions. This computer runs like a dream, is very fast, and easy to navigate. It also has a very comfortable keyboard, which is important to me with my writing. I am more than pleased with my purchase, and with the service I received.

This laptop is awesome! - easy to set up and fast!! We had first bought an Acer Aspire (don't ever get that one), had trouble getting it up and running and when we did it was slow; we loaded a favorite software program we have and it lagged and hung up. Then we found out that it didn't even support a stylus, so back to the store it went. We saw this HP, which has virtually the same specs as the Acer, and we are SO-O-O glad we made the switch. It's so much faster, and our software program works flawlessly. It's also a bit smaller and thinner than the Acer even though they're both 15.6 inch laptops due to it's minimal margins around the screen. This is a great feature since it's a 2-in-1; it's better suited for tablet mode. Best of all, it supports a stylus! What good is Windows Ink without a stylus?! We love this great laptop and are so happy with this purchase. I HIGHLY recommend it as a powerful, versatile 2-in-1 laptop in this price point. You get your money's worth with this one!

Recently purchased my HP Envy x360 2-in1 15.6 touchscreen laptop and couldn't be more satisfied! Some of the things I love about it is as follows: if you're like me an not the most tech savvy consumer you'll find the HP extremely user friendly. From the moment you first power it on, there's an "Alexa/Siri -esque" assistant that walks you through complete setups and personilzation of your new laptop. It comes with fingerprint and pin code access to unlock. Its 2 in 1 feature allows you to navigate from standard laptop position to a 15.6in screen tablet seamlessly. It is lighter in weight than it appears which makes it very portable. It has great battery life, one charge will last you practically all day, or at least through a half a season of binge-worthy streaming shows like Game of Thrones or Orange is the New Black.. I like the fact that it has bluetooth capabilities and can sync with your 4G/5G bluetooth capable, android or iPhone devices effortlessly. Boasts great HD 1080 webcam, along with a sensitive clear microphone and internal speakers with enough Dolby Surround output to amp up a small party. Its processor is one of the most recent Intel-Core generations which makes it perfect for streaming, downloading, and not too shabby for a good online gaming session or two. As a student, this laptop has great memory. It will provide you with more than enough to store your thesis and research papers, as well as full e-textbooks for all your classes. If I had to say anything negative about it is when in tablet mode the keyboard, while not active, is still exposed, which personally I'd like a slidable cover for it (just my personal preference) But Hewlett Packard has designed it in such a way that even when you sit it down in tablet mode, the keys aren't being compressed so you should have no problems. Overall, it's been a great product, with a great performance, at a great price, which makes me a proud purchaser!! So, if anyone out there is growing tired of picking those "bad Apples" (pun intended) give Hewlett Packard a try, you definitely won't be disappointed...:0)

Great mid-priced laptop. If you're not a gamer or road warrior that's always on the go, but just need a general purpose laptop with great performance, this HP Envy x360 is worth checking out. I had a few requirements when shopping for a new laptop including, Intel i5 or higher chip, aluminum case, 8 gig min of RAM, backlite keyboard, 256 gig of SSD storage, and a numeric keypad. The last requirement pretty much put me in the 15.6" category. The 8 gig of ram has been plenty for me and if not, it's upgradable by adding another 8 gig stick. This HP is not an ultra lite machine, but plenty light enough for me as I only travel a few times a year. For sure, it's a lot thinner and lighter than my old 15.6" Lenovo. The screen resolution is just right for me as my older eyes have a hard time seeing the print on those ultra high res laptops, especially when packaged in a smaller machine, For general web, email, financial, and basic photo editing, this machine is fast The keyboard has a nice feel too, and the Windows hello feature is great - boot up / recovery from sleep mode is much, much faster than my older machine,

I purchased the HP ENVY x360 2-in-1 because it has all that features I was searching for my new laptop: touch screen, SSD drive (PCI-e), Intel Core Gen 8 processor, numeric keypad, not too bulky. I mainly use the laptop for browsing, watching movies and Youtube videos, working with Excel and Word documents. The Gen 8 Core i5 provides me sufficient processing power and shouldn't become obsolete for the next couple of years. The system boots fast, just like any SSD based one. For me the 256GB are more than enough, since I store most my documents in cloud. For a 15'' it's quite lightweight (easy to carry around from room to room), the overall size being a little less wide than other 15'' laptops. The touch screen works well, with good quality responsiveness. I just love the full-size keyboard, the layout it's perfect for the way I type (including the numeric keypad which is a must to me). I'm no media expert and not that fussy about video and audio quality, but I'm very satisfied by the screen and Bang & Olufsen audio. The laptop came from Best Buy with Windows 10 installed, after a quick setup the system was ready to go. The only thing I am missing is more USB ports.

I absolutely love this pc. it is so fast and very user friendly. I originally purchased this for my son for his school work but it has so much more to offer. I love the fact that it is touch screen and can be also used like an ipad. I would definitely recommend this product!
